Certainly wanting to keep rates low is a noble endeavor, but it's just a subject not worth discussing here.

You (or others) can recite the norms of supply and demand, but this hobby is different. A hooker and a John haggle back and forth on price until either they are both satisfied with the financial terms, or one of them walks away from the negotiations unsatisfied. That's all you (or anyone) can ever do in this hobby.

I say it's not worth discussing here because there will always be those willing to pay for what they want, and also those willing to walk away and look for something less expensive. It's not like walking into Walmart where the prices are fixed. And so sometimes guys may overpay (and not care because they can afford to do so), and sometimes others may get (what they think is) the deal of a lifetime. Plus, the audience for this discussion that is being reached here is probably only a small percentage of all those involved in such transactions in the greater Orlando area. It's not like we are talking to Union Members, and can (or will) boycott all the providers.

So I say continue to complain about what is perceived as high prices to your heart's content, but what is said here is not going to affect one iota what happens on the streets of Orlando.
