In general, I like Stars and there are a nice selection of pretty women but I have to say that the pvt dance section is so ridiculously not pvt that it sort of sucks the life out of any dancer I'm with. Furthermore, the bouncer tends to lurk (sticking his head in, staring at times) around the corner and, needless to say, that takes the edge off the experience. Also, they go through large amounts of time with no one on stage so there's not a discovery to be made along the way without a long wait of boredom. I don't pretend to know anything about running a strip club but I can tell you, as a regular patron of other, better managed clubs, what is and is not working for me and I'd say this place needs a serious injection of energy and planning. The bouncers, alone, are a buzzkill and make me disinterested in spending much beyond the minimum with any dancer. There is a dancer that I see on a regular basis, that used to work there and, seriously, I didn't know her then but I can't imagine her working there now. That would be a LOT of wasted talent.

Believe me, I want this place to be GOOD so I hope this is all seen as constructive criticism.

By the way, LOVE the bartenders, Becky and Julie. Both wonderful people.

Thank you for the review. I do contract work 4 stars I know the owner very well. I will pass this along to him. But as for the bouncer thing and the private dance area I know that he is very concerned with law enforcement. You would think law enforcement would have better things to do like catching pedophiles, rapist, drug dealers, and shooters, but it's much easier to go into a strip club and try to bust a stripper doing a little more than she should be doing. But I will tell you it will never be like you read about in the Detroit clubs the owner would never allow that. But maybe there's something that can be done about the bouncers.

Thanks for the review. I do outside contract work for stars and I know the owner very well I will be sure to pass on the review. But I do know with the bouncer thing is that he's very concerned about law enforcement finding issues in his establishment. You know instead of law enforcement concerning themselves with catching pedophiles and drug dealers, rapist, and shootings it's much easier just to go in and try to bust a stripper who was doing a little more than she should be doing in a strip club. Been in there once recently and it was like a ghost town and have heard it is picking up again but not flattering stories. So, not sure about couples but you could give it a shot and keep your expectations low.

I went there a few days ago and left right a way. There were no women, just all guys blowing each other. Not my type of thing so I left ASAP. So if you give it a try keep your expectations real low.

Go about 2 miles west on Broadway to Stars, between Park and Seaway Drive overpass. Remodeled, but still 2 for 1 lap dances Wed night and Fri afternoon. No cover before 7:00 pm.

Odyssey is full nude. I haven't been there in quite a while so I can't comment on current mileage. Typical Michigan no alcohol full nude place.

We are a couple. Odyssey advertises that couples can go into the theater for free. We are wondering if that is worth it.

Has anyone been in the VIP room here? I inquired about it a few weeks ago there and the only information that they would give was it was a 175 to get in. I thought it was a steep price for not knowing what your going to get.

I reviewed the VIP room last winter in the old forum I think its still there. Anyway, it was fun but don't expect extras.

Sorry, I do not recall her name, but she was previously a dancer in GR and I think has been dancing in Muskegon for 6-8 months.
