Ok, I just have to say that the talent I'm seeing advertised in J'ville is just not inspiring me. In fact, over the past couple of years I think it has become even worse. And if these girls look this bad in their pics, I can only imagine how they actually look in person. At least before there were opportunities to find diamonds in the ruff, but not now. Takeout from strip clubs has always been my preferred source of paid companions, but once in a blue moon I might dip my toe in the local escort market. But I haven't felt motivated to dial up one of these girls in over a year now. This is just atrocious. Worse though, when a decent one surfaces, she's taking a shit ton of volume.

Anyway, this is just a vent. As much as I'd like to diversify and maybe keep a few more bucks in my pocket, I just can't accept the hefty trade-off in quality.

They seem to offer the best looking, but honestly I have tried a few and the YMMV and the business of it outweighs everything, so its just too fake for me borderline narcissistic IMO. The best I have had albeit it takes a lot of work, is the sugar market on SA for an hour of what it cost for an eros girl I can throw that down and get someone younger, better looking, no appearance of drug use low mileage, and more enthusiastic. Here is my damage experience Girl#1 no charge to drive 2 hours to see me 1st meet $$ overnight, Girl 2 $$$ and left just call anytime and don't worry about the $. Called her told her I had no $ she said $$ she drove an hour and stayed the night but I am not going to lie it takes work just like a GF but my experiences have been epic with those real college girls yea they need $ but honestly if your a good time and dependable for help when needed and need a good dream I have not gone wrong with them and I can't keep up with them.

I haven't been keeping up with either of those, recently. I probably should change that.

Current stats say that Jax has about 50% of the new HIV case rate that Miami does, though.

Not that that's particularly reassuring, or that anyone should let their guard down, but it seems that there are plenty of guys that will continue to see known shooters, so the 26/100 k rate in Jax isn't likely to go down anytime soon.

Just for reference: Jax has 2x the national average, and Miami has 4x. The Ft Lauderdale area has the #2 and #3 spots in between Miami and Jax for Florida.

HIV is most prevalant in the Miami area (for Florida), but there's certainly plenty around here. I'm old enough to remember when HIV was a death sentence. I was talking with an ER nurse recently, and she said she'd rather contract HIV than Hep, which is obviously different than it used to be.

With the pill mills being shut down and H / fentanyl becoming a cheaper and therefore more popular alternative to oxy (etc), shooters are increasingly a problem. Apparently, the high from Fentanyl is much shorter lasting, too, so the people who routinely shoot that end up shooting a LOT more, which increases needle sharing.

I manage my exposure risk by avoiding obvious shooters, or people who have symptoms that are common to them, by not picking up SWans with obvious massive signs of other candy use, and by making sure to get tested regularly.

Do I worry about it anyways? Sure.

There around 40 different types of HPV. Exposure to 16 causes throat or head / neck cancer and I believe 17 causes cervical cancer whereas 19 warts. Here is what makes it so difficult, your immune system will kill it so you won't have it when these symptoms develop, BUT its the exposure to it that gets you, plus there is no testing available to know if you have it, only if you have been exposed to it. High School students have been getting vaccinated since the mid 90's, so if your older you probably were exposed at some point via sitting on a toilet, kissing, 16 is through oral sex, pretty hard not to have had it unless you got the vaccine.

Being in the "already been exposed" group, I haven't paid much attention recently, but when that vaccine came out, there were some serious questions about its efficacy. And, man, they were pushing it HARD (ads trying to guilt parents into not basically killing their kids by not giving them the vaccine, that sort of thing) and it was pretty expensive. I think a couple / few hundred bucks.

Because I had certainly already been exposed, I didn't really follow up. Given the amount of bullshit about viruses and such on the Internet (take a look at what the anti-Vaxers are putting out there) I'm not inclined to do a super-quick check right now, but it's worth keeping in mind that the pharma companies are rightfully notorious for pushing shit that's of questionable value if they can make a buck.

I've had to visit my dermatologist to get some freeze treatments on several lesions I found downstairs. They weren't cancerous, but I certainly didn't have them before I started this lifestyle. No clue where I got it.

Curious as I am pretty much done with this hobby after my last terrible experience, how worried do you guys get about things like HIV? I never BBFS or even Greek in any capacity but I like BBBJs, anyone know the prevalence of shit like that? IV drug users are an at risk population and I know a lot of these providers mess around with substances. Then there's the statistic I think that's 22% of HIV cases in FL are from jax (may have misquoted that but pretty sure I saw a news segment stating that recently). Not trying to spook everyone it's just a thought I've been having, interested to hear what this community thinks about this within the hobby.

I've never ever understood that, no DATY for me either. I just wonder where that large percentage of new HIV cases came from ya know, like which population is racking up the numbers like that. It'd seem like this hobby would be suspect.
