That's like saying you are happy this new inept CEO that took over where you work to run the company and brought in his own management team to skim off the top to drain the company dry into bankruptcy is OK. Because they fired or replaced all the old management you had a grudge with. And that felt good enough to overlook whatever they do. Because you got to see those old fuckfaces packing their office.

Supporting an inept leader just because they hate the same people as you, is short sighted tribalism that makes you the same version, just different political color, of what you are saying you cannot stand. (IE if someone said the same "Could eat a baby, long as they oppose trump" you would see them as corrupt simple minded agenda driven nitwits, and rightfully so...then why not when its the same just name replaced?).

As far as I am concerned, everyone has their panties in a wad bitching about this and that without stating any facts. And I'm not talking about politicians or the media. You keep saying corrupt, inept and other items that are just your emotions. Not one iota of absolute proof of anything. Just drinking the koolaid of either side.

Everyone bitches without offering rock solid solutions. I just want to keep more of the money I make and listening to Biden and others about raising taxes, especially on my business has me concerned.

I agree 100%, but at this stage, we all probably had a love one or friend who came down with the disease, and either passed or fighting to live. My problem is indeed the enablers, and people who blindly supports his stance. You can't help who he is, but these other public figures are the one's who can push change. Yet seem the majority of them turn down their moral compass to support a president and not the party he sides with.

I been looking up a Recall election, It angers me knowing that our governor is going to keep his job for doing an god awful job for the next two years. There should be repercussions for your actions if thousands of people died from it. Which is why I don't know why celebrities and the news outlets don't push the idea for a Recall Election. For Florida its a guarantee more than 30% will sign on for it. To say kids go back to school in a worst situation then before the lock-down is just mad. I bet you for other states as well who has these enablers. If we start saying if you don't do your job someone else will, then they will start operating for the people they represent, and not a Dick. Man this governor has been fighting the facts more then the virus.

If I had the followers to do it, I start the charge for recall elections because these last 4 years just shows how childish these politicians are, because of the fact they think they can do whatever and keep their positions. I kind of wanted him to get re-elected LOL. Hear me out. Think about for the rest of his life he's going to get 200 k a year? For what? I'm not sure if being impeached effects that or not, but that is ridiculous. So I was hopping he get re-elected, and something bound to come up and he will finally be impeached through the senate as well. Yet I'm assuming he would pull a nixon if it went that far, so far Biden seems to be on the same boat as him.

It sucks that this virus did happen under his leadership, because of the fall out and deaths. Yet there is no way in hell, that the history books which will come out years from now, will have a positive exert of him. Plus, from my petty side, I don't have to argue statistics, or factual data to the trump fans base, all I have to say is 2020. There's no beating that LOL. All My buddies who voted for him don't support him, and are disgusted in his antics. They don't regret voting for him though, which nobody should. They voted for the message he put out. You're quite right. The problem seems to be that people are too lazy and or scared to learn how to tell good information from the shit that lets them wank off their confirmation bias until the dopamine flows.

Florida has had more cases in one day as many countries (with comparable population sizes) have had PERIOD. The number of cases doubled in the last two weeks. Which was doubled from the number of cases two weeks before that. Testing is not increasing exponentially, last time I looked.

I believe that the death percentage had been going down because we were getting the slingshot effect. More young people (who aren't as likely to die) were getting infected, so we're now seeing the older people that they transmitted it to start to die, and the death rate is going up again. I won't claim this is backed up by data yet, but it's my expectation that this will be borne out.

I say all this knowing that I'm unlikely to change anyone's mind. I just would like to point out that it's the doctors and the epidemiologists are screaming as loud as they can that this is a terrible situation, and we should do shit like wear masks and stay home when we can. The ones who are saying that we shouldn't worry, it's not that bad, and it'll go away if we ignore it (just like cancer, or that sore on your dick, right?) - those people are ALL politicians.

Who should you trust, the doctors or the politicians? The answer seems obvious to me.
