There has been a note posted at the top of the forum. They are working at restoring the server (s) and a copy of the database that might be a bit old since the latest backup got fried.

A2 and team work very hard keeping the systems up so we need to give them a chance to do their best. It may take a while for the database to refresh with new ads. We just need to be patient.

The actual number of new ads, even in Cincinnati, had dwindled to close to nothing, and Cincinnati was by far the most active city. I believe the server was somewhere overseas. It would be interesting to hear what happened there.

Just like to chime in on this. I do remember using the yellow pages as well. Like you all said had to go through an agent. I remember Naughty Bodies out of Mt. Carmel as well as a few other one's. Also back then I worked downtown they had the citybeat paper as well as the downtowner paper. I found several ladys there. Like a lady that did massage over in Covington Jill Mathews she had wrote a book as well. I know like every couple of months they would text you a free code to use for the 24 hours. I would shuffle through the ads tell I found one or two that sounded good then I iwould leave them a message with my telephone number I hooked up with several like that. I used the Cols dispatch many years ago for my mongering needs. Page after page of ads. No pics of course so YMMV in many cases. Brings back many memories. There were some gems in them pages!
