94% of them had an average of 2. 9 life threatening illnesses.
The vast majority were dying this year with or without covid. You can call 300,000 of the deaths Covid, but when the number of people who died by the end of the year were exactly what you were expecting at the begging of the year yes, they had to die because they were going to do anyway.
Let me try this, if you're standing on the edge of a building and somebody shoots you in the head and you fall off it wasn't the fall that killed you. The 2. 9 life threatening illnesses is the shot in the head, covid was just the ground you landed on.
I get it, you will keep arguing because you picked a political narrative in April and can't admit you're wrong but the facts don't give a shit about your embarrassment.
That's exactly the point, most of them were going to die anyway. That's why 2.85 million are going to die of all causes, you can't manipulate all causes.

To be clear, the average 2. 9 additional health issues they had were as follows:
Cancer.
Chronic kidney disease.
COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies.
Immunocompromised state (weakened immune system) from solid organ transplant.
Obesity (body mass index BMI of 30 kg / m2 or higher but < 40 kg / m2).
Severe Obesity (BMI ≥ 40 kg / m2).
Pregnancy.
Sickle cell disease.
Smoking.
Type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Asthma (moderate-to-severe).
Cerebrovascular disease (affects blood vessels and blood supply to the brain).
Cystic fibrosis.
Hypertension or high blood pressure.
Immunocompromised state (weakened immune system) from blood or bone marrow transplant, immune deficiencies, HIV, use of corticosteroids, or use of other immune weakening medicines.
Neurologic conditions, such as dementia.
Liver disease.
Overweight (BMI 25 kg / m2, but < 30 kg / m2).
Pulmonary fibrosis (having damaged or scarred lung tissues).
Thalassemia (a type of blood disorder).
Type 1 diabetes mellitus.
94% of the people who died had an AVERAGE of NEARLY 3 of these life threatening illnesses or conditions BEFORE getting covid.
91% of them were over the age of 55.
It's not the young people who have no fucking risk of dying that is causing the problem, the fucking problem is the same number of elderly sick people are dying, they are just dying while they are positive for covid (in the provisional death counts there is a running total of the number of people who have died of all causes in the US, in the last three years that number was 2. 85 million, in 2020 that fucking number is going to be right at 2. 85 million, there are NO essentially no excess deaths and yes, I'm aware of the article published saying that for a few months of the year their have been and that's true but over the year their will have been.
Again, it's all right here all you have to do is look. One of the truly astonishing things to me is the number of deaths from influenza, the US normally has 40,000 or so and some years as many as 80,000 yet in 2020, the worst year of the century there have been less than 7,000. Why is nobody talking about that?
Before you finger wag open your fucking eyes and look.

Related, too, is an important fact. Nearly all had co-morbidities; the average number of co-morbidities is 2. 6. These people are dying with COVID, not necessarily of it. And importantly, despite the sharp increase in daily positives, the death rate is essentially flat for the past five months.
It is a harsh virus, no doubt. But it can be far better managed by protecting those at greatest risk, not by shutting down every aspect of society.
The places of greatest risk? A grocery store at 5 pm All the best. Wear a damn mask in public, if for no other reason, don't be rude. Wash your damn hands.
And may King rest in peace.

I'm sorry he passed as well but stop using the death of one person to continue to beat the drum for the over reaction to Covid 19. Covid 19 is NOT the biggest health issue in the world, heart disease continues to kill 3X the number of people who died WITH not OF covid. (94% of the people who died WITH covid had a average of 2.9 underlying life threatening diseases.
So far worldwide 1.5 million people have died WITH covid, before this current round of lockdowns that will do as little as the first round did the UN council on hunger says and additional 10,000,000 people will starve to death next year as a direct result of the mitigation taken to "control" Covid 19, now that we are doing it again it will probably be 20,000,000. Before this round of lockdowns the slowdown of the global economy had already destroyed the lives of 400,000,000 people worldwide, that's 5% of the worlds population forced into extreme poverty, adding to the 400,000,000 that already where there. Now that people like you are pushing for more will we reach a billion? Of that billion people how many will starve in the next 10 years so that you can virtue signal?
If you want to beat your breast and talk about the biggest health problem in the world it's hunger caused by people like you.
I will not let you hijack this man's death, nor this forum to add your voice to the idiots who are completely and totally ignoring the horrific problems they are causing worldwide over a virus with a 99.74% recoviery. I'm as sorry as I can be for his family, I'm sorry he passed, he seemed like a decent guy but he was one of the .26% that died with covid, for every one that dies 399 recover.
Keep this stupidity on the fight thread.

Don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but I do wonder if King really did die or if the poster who's saying he died is King himself playing another game but I hope that is not the case if King really did die.

Maybe not! Every time I get some strange my dog busts me as soon as I walk in the house! Doesn't matter how thoroughly I shower, he knows! He is all up sniffing my business like I have steak in my pants. I am sure he approves, but it is a bit of a concern. Thus far it has not led to too many awkward questions! Kinda funny. I do believe he could sniff out a fart on a moon beam!

My worst experience in the past few months is with a woman in Decatur. I paid her and after that it went downhill. I'd ask her to do something she would give attitude, refuse etc. She wouldn't get on the bed and her reasoning was I sleep on it. There were two beds in the room LOL. I would have taken my money back but that area was to sketchy.
