That's not data. How do they arrive at these numbers? Before vaccine was available, 100% of the nonvaxed died. Do they count those? Why do similar nations using same vaccine show the majority of those sick, in hospital or dead w / virus were vaxxed yet US shows 99% weren't?

Earlier on I mentioned that the CDC indicates that from December 14th when the first vaccine was administered to July 12th, a total of 1,063 vaccinated Americans have died of "breakthrough" Covid-19 cases, 3/4 ers of them elderly.

They have since updated that to 1,141 dead through July 19th. Going by FT's figures around 1,768 Americans died from July 12th to July 19th. So for comparison, during that week:

161 million Americans were fully vaccinated. 78 of them died.

172 million Americans were unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated. 1,690 of them died.

So the unvaccinated or undervaccinated account for 95.6% of deaths, largely in line with claims by medical authorities. However that doesn't adjust for age and health:

*43.6 out of 54.7 million aged 65+ are fully vaccinated, about 80% of the overall elderly population.

*0. 1 out of 48.7 million aged under 12 or less are fully vaccinated, about 0. 2% of the overall child population. I suspect that many getting the vaccinations are those considered disproportionately vulnerable.

So even though the vaccinated population is both older and sicker they still account for just 4. 4% of Covid deaths.

The whole point of vaccination is to PREVENT a devastating disease. Getting the long laundry list of vaccines like polio, and measles is to PREVENT you from getting it not to lessen the effects of those diseases. As we now know, the COVID vaccine does not prevent the disease. Matter of fact, they have stopped saying it will prevent it but will lessen the effects. Why? Because a whole lot of people are getting the disease after getting the vaccine.

I am using my brain and my brain along with the data shows that 95% of people who currently in the hospital with COVID-19 are the unvaccinated and the people who are vaccinated and have COVID-19 have symptoms nowhere as serious as the unvaccinated plus the CDC has always stated that there was a chance you can still get COVID-19 if your vaccinated but your symptoms are nowhere near as severe and you have a much higher chance of surviving the disease with little to no lifelong complications.

Imbeciles like to look at the "data" about the chances of getting adverse effects from the vaccine, see that they are NOT-ZERO, and claim that's enough reasons for them to opt out of it. Too bad that when assessing risk of anything, the comparison is NEVER with ZERO, but with the risk associated to NOT doing the thing. In this case, the risk associated to getting COVID is ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE greater than the risk associated to the vaccine, and that's literally all that there is to consider, nothing more. It's really a no brainer choice, and yet people pretend they have the third option with ZERO-risk of not getting vaccinated and still being immune to the virus somehow, when all they're doing is gambling their lives and deliberately choosing the least favourable outcome. There is really no limit to the stupidity and inability of comprehending basic statistics of people.

There's also a very small percentage of complications for those of us who are relatively young and with no underlying conditions.
