This whole time we've been texting she's been super friendly and personal, seemed cool. But as soon as she gets in the room she's just super awkward. So I chalked it up to a waste of money on the room and cut my losses there.

But regardless, the whole vibe was fucked once she was so adamant about me paying her upfront. And tbh anytime I've had a chick in the past ask for it upfront and I've unwillingly agreed it's never a good experience because now they've lost any incentive to stay for however long you agreed to or to live up to their end of the deal. Hasn't happened often but when it does I always end up feeling shorted. So does anyone have some good advice on how to handle the situation when they ask to be paid upfront but to still not come off sounding like a complete dick and ruin the vibe? Because I'll be honest, idk how to handle that situation with any grace and still stick to my guns.

I guess I will be the contrarian here. I think you sort of blew it. You had a very cute, very young girl, maybe not a virgin but maybe she was, and who may have been willing to have condom sex with you for $500. Maybe if you had given in on the condoms (which I always use anyway. I want to reduce the risk of taking something back to my GF) she might have been more amenable to compromising on the payment method. It seems like you may have pushed a scared, naive girl, insisted on having everything your way, and ended up with no girl and out a hotel room. Respectfully I think I would have handled it all differently. I prefer being nice to the girls and it usually gets me a long way.

That's why I never take a girl to a hotel room before talking to them at a public place where both parties can change their minds without any pressure and with out making a scene. This type of conversations in a hotel room (especially where a young or inexperienced girl may feel pressured) never end up well. You could have also saved the cost for the hotel room. Regardless, IMO, you were not going to get goods from her anyway. The virgin claim should have been a clue. I would have ended the deal right there. Starts with deception, ends up with deception.

If I were in such a situation, I would try to calm things in this way. I would say offer to give her 100 upfront, to 'show my goodwill'. I have on multiple occasions given a POT 100 at the M&G, because I ask the girls to book our rooms (I have a SO), and I want them to know they are not taking a financial risk in doing so. Most of the time it has worked out and I have ended up in the FC w / them (of course, based on the quality of our interactions at the M&G), only a few times has the planned FC trip not materialized.

I have had this type of experience at least 7 times in my rookie days, and guess what, none of them ended pleasantly. You did what I initially wished I had the balls to do. Damn, sounds like you dodged a bullet. Could have been a cash and dash or an ambush from some associates of hers. Best case scenario is that she is a virgin / brand new to this and was extremely awkward, but that's unlikely. Anyway, I'm happy you went along with your spidey senses and GTFO.

So, look, if the 'recent location' on a SA profile does not list the US, it is 100% a scammer, and you really don't have any reason to continue w / them. Sometimes they will say stuff like they were visiting there, or they use a VPN, or something like that, but I can say after several years on the site I have never had one of those situations turn into an actual meeting w / a person.

Very true, I typically hide / block any Seeking profiles with recent locations outside the USA The chances of SBs even being a little tech savvy to mask their location via VPN is slim.

That being said though, I myself do use a VPN and was questioned once about it showing me in Mexico. Surprisingly, that one met up with me a week later though nothing came of it (wasn't interested).

So I visited an SB three times in late 2023 - say once in Oct, Nov and Dec. For $400 each visit. I texted her tonight to see if she wanted to meet later this week. She says sure, but that'll be $800! After texting a little with her back and forth, she said she needs at least 1 visit per month to maintain the relationship. Am I the asshole for allowing a 3-month lapse in visits? Wants money just to meet (apparently a SD from the site told her she shouldn't be meeting men on the site for free). That, plus the fact that her privates aren't exactly flattering, put an end to my pursuit early.

Her previous profiles indicated she lost money in the market. YOLO WSB type shit. Saw her for a QV once. All about money. No idea what the real story is or if she does have a monkey besides spending / bad bets. Private pics are accurate BTW.
