I'm originally from Oklahoma. Up until the mid 1970's you could not go into a bar and buy a drink. The bars were BYOB or you could order near beer. Several times over the decade before, there were several ballot initiatives to make it a county option. They all failed. There is a very exclusive country club in south tulsa that severed drinks all day long. Finally the police made a raid on the country club and shut down the bar. The next ballot measure past decisively.

Posts: 1800I hear you about the Dr. -and-staff but you know what, I actually trust Kamela on this. It's not in her interests to go that route with all the #MeToo aficionados and human trafficking issue magnifiers wanting to vote for her. And I don't know about you but for me this issue affects me more then "the wall", "the health care debate", "taxes" and a lot of other staff. That other staff may affect my money (and it's usually around the edges really anyway) but prostitution being illegal can actually potentially ruin my life. So for me that is a hugely important, more important then Korea, global warming, and even military here there and everywhere. Because that other staff that people like to argue about is still largely removed from my immediate space.
Losing a doctor? Yea, that would suck, but there is a good chance that I can live with another one too. On the other hand prostitution being illegal that can put me in jail, splash my face on the internet which could cause some of my dear friends to stop hanging out with me, if I'd be married that could ruin my family. All over bullshit that causes harm to nobody, in fact helps all the parties involved including many of non-participants, let alone the society as a whole. Dude, this is so much more important then the wall, taxes, global warming and even health care in my book that it's not even in the same league! I'd gladly pay extra taxes and pay them into nothing if necessary, if that's what it would take to legalize prostitution in this puritan land, let alone decriminalize it.
I don't think Kamela's got much of a shot in the Dem primary (although I could see her being picked for VP) but if she would talk more about decriminalization of prostitution that would definitely make me close my eyes on many other things about her that I may not be as fond of. We need somebody significant in Washington to champion the cause of decriminalization and no matter what you think about Kamela you can't possibly think of her as a lightweight.

Then you can keep your Dr. Remember those words from another political darling? Did you trust that too? Regardless of what she says to get elected, I'd venture a guess that Kamela learned from the same book of lies, deception and cheating as her mentor.
I was thinking of voting for Tulsi in the primaries but you're turning me Aimstraight, you're really turning me. I didn't know that sweet Kamela said that (see I'm calling her "sweet" already) thank you for pointing me to it. Kamela's campaign should be paying you man because I'm sure I'm not the only person you turned by drawing our attention to our darling Kamela's stands on prostitution LOL.

I'm not much of a fun of Kamela Harris but if her stands lead to decriminalization of prostitution (which is even better then legalization!) then she's my girl baby! Go Kamela! Let those ladies free! Let women make decisions on what they do with their bodies without Big Government's intervention! Let consenting adults do as consenting adult should be able to do!

Now to Admin2: stop whining dude! If you move this whole discussion to News and Media Reports I'd make comments in News and Media Reports but while the thread is here I'd be posting here.

What would be the chances of everybody putting their Kraft comments under the news & media section where they belong??

We should all go on rubmaps and start posting fake reviews that claim all our favorite shops have stopped handing out favors since the Kraft thing has everyone scared. I mean, a bunch of those at the more prolific places might drive down suspicion, and more importantly reduce justification for investigation.

You are right. But they are not ignorant. They have been trained and conditioned to believe and support specific narratives. Almost always by institutions and "educators" who scream diversity, inclusion and openess. Take a step or two back and look closer at facts, actions and results. Not headlines or word manipulations. It's really sad but the most closed minded and almost racist people I've ever met have all been people who proudly wave the flag of openess and inclusion. You got to remember, hypocrisy runs deep and certain groups will like you only so long as you agree with them and their ideas. One of my favorite hypocrites is Kamela Harris. She went after prostitution in san francisco and used that to move ahead in her political career. This of course was hilarious because of the major sex scandal involving san francisco police depts: https://reason.com/blog/2018/01/11/t...sm-of-kamala-h.
Now she think sex work should be okd to some degree: https://nypost.com/2019/02/26/kamala...ecriminalized/ which is nice considering her feminist support base: https://reason.com/blog/2018/01/11/t...sm-of-kamala-h.
Got to love the hypocrisy and built-in double standards. Of course human traficing is disgusting and should be prosecuted. But for the MSM its all about packaging and delivery. Remember it's not the message itself but HOW the message is delivered. That's where the art of our many spinmasters really shines who redefine hypocrisy on a daily basis.

But people are too ignorant to focus on important issues (proof is who we elect in Massachusetts to represent us.) but rather what one lonely man did that hurt no one.
