A small university town, relatively remote and seemingly pretty conservative. Those are a few of my impressions of this area from previous visits. I have not really mongered here before and initial research seems to indicate opportunities are very few and far between. I understand the characteristics of the area, mentioned above, but would still think it's big enough and with diverse enough populace to support some small number of women who have something to offer and interested mongers.

I'm visiting again, flying in and out of Roanoke, but it would be nice to not have to monger there at the start or finish of my trip, but rather have something in Blacksburg or very close by. Would appreciate any feedback and could certainly reciprocate in Michigan or other areas. Thanks!
