Now whether the mail was actually sent by them, that's a different question. It's easy to forge email, and it doesn't require any special tools. An expert can look at the raw email message and detect obvious forgeries, but most people don't know how to do that. So the person who sent the message could have been legitimately representing the sheriff, or could have been trolling. Then again, if they really wanted to make a case out of it, they wouldn't rely on email as a way to get in touch.

These are warning shots across the bow. They are to let you know that you are on the radar. These are the brazen aspects of law enforcement, such as when people in white vehilces come to make narcotic buys. Well dumbass, was the all white vehicle not a sign? Similarly, the calls and emails are warning shots to let people know that they are on the radar. As I have always said, you can always play and stay within the law. However, I have seen many, many statements of laws being broken on this site. Learn the law, and work with it.

I think someone is either jealous or intimidated. It don't matter to me either way. I stay in my own bubble and don't feel the need to help people drum up drama. I want everyone to be happy around me and have fun. I am happy with who I am and happy in life. If people have to lower their intellectual level and mess with me to make themselves feel better about who they are, then so be it. I will remain my happy, saucy self. Have a great night and play safe. Luscious Lexie.

The email addy is CORRECT. The number is CORRECT. I know a few MORE ladies, who have received the very same things, calls and emails, within the past WEEK. Clearly, this site has MANY jailhouse lawyers. Wait, I mean ignorant fucks.
Boys and girls, beware! A flood of money has come into the system. These folks are now looking to add FEDERAL charges. Read more money. More money means more manpower. They are looking for a return on the taxpayer's money. The measure is charges and convictions, resulting in more money coming into the system, although exogenously versus endogeneously. The law is grey. Take advantage of this. You have been warned.

I wasn't really sure where to place this. This did not occur in our town, but a great example of how to protect the innocent, while maintaining freedom for consenting adults.

Posts: 280reply to several LEO posts on SW thread
"Friday Afternoon Stroll: Nothing out to speak of, LEO was out in force & it looks like they had an army of social workers with them. They were stopped under the bridge on Central just up from the bus station talking to Riley, and they were in full force at the convenience stores on Baxter at 275. . . ".
Good observation. The BAD news is theres now a massive LEO effort at 'human trafficking' along with a shiny new task force thing that includes state investigators unit + the fbi. Add the social worker types to help. Ex; someone posted about a bunch of busts last week at the bristol race, that was surely part of it. Guess the fed-grants money theyll throw at them make all this worth it to The Man.
Other info is posted about a 'cleanup' of the strolls around central. The investors around there are pushing it, it mostly started with the newer bar near the health department clinic. There's been quite a few news stories about the 'problems' a few working girls walking on the sidewalks are causing such distress to the business owners. The message is as if / if you want to come into their bar and spend money, then it's ok to take home the hooker that's working in the bar. Amazing.

Dredged from a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore, here are some tips on how to look suspicious to staff at a hotel or motel. They really do train employees to watch for this stuff and a few bullet points apply to monger behavior*.
What Should I Consider Suspicious?
Guests who:
Request specific room assignments or locations.*
Use cash for large transactions or a credit card in someone else's name.*
Arrive with unusual amounts of luggage.*
Make unusual inquiries about local sites, including government, military, police, communications, and power facilities.
Refuse cleaning service over an extended time.*
Use entrances and exits that avoid the lobby.*
Abandon a room and leave behind clothing and toiletry items.
Do not leave their room.
Change their appearance.
Leave the property for several days and then return.
Thefts of official vehicles, uniforms, identification, and access cards.
Reports of guest rooms with burn marks or discoloration on the walls or door.
Unusual odors or liquids seeping from a guest room.
Unusual amounts of traffic.*
Discovery of unusual items in guest rooms or facility dumpsters.
Fertilizer or agricultural products.
Chemicals or chemical containers.
Fuel or fuel containers.
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives.
Extremist training manuals or literature.
Fraudulent credit cards or documents.
Parked vehicles in isolated areas.*
It is important to remember that just because someone's speech, actions, beliefs, appearance, or way of life is different, it does not mean that he or she is suspicious.
