I think you were confused.

That cafe has been there for long.

Now landlord put "for lease" sign on hula girl front door.

I saw that sign yesterday.

But I don't think anyone would start AMP biz in this messy time. But when things calm down, it would resurface. Not easy to find other kinda of biz for that size unit at young st.

Not sure but I do hope that she does pop us somewhere. Chichi's seems it would be a good place for her so how up if she does return.

So weird when someplace like that goes "straight", for lack of a better way to put it.

Same thing happened to the old location for Aaxtion Video, next to Femme Nu. It's some Korean restaurant (is it me, or are there a lot of Korean restaurants on Kapiolani?) or karaoke place. When Sarah worked at Hula I mentioned that offhand (she used to work at Aaxtion in the private booths in back) and said we should grab a bite there. I added, with a laugh, that dropping food on the floor would be a really bad idea there.

I wonder if the place is haunted by sex ghosts now. You know how some places are haunted by paranormal that constantly repeat itself, like a dude walking up a flight of stairs at 6 pm every night.

There must be so much residual sex ghosting in that place haha.

For as much as Hulas has had it's share of good and bad reviews I for the most part generally kinda liked this place. Can't say I was a regular but did visit frequently when my faves were there like Sarah who is currently at Chichis, her friend Diana, Mia, Victoria from back in the day, and a few others who I have to admit I forget their names. Do remember a host of seasoned Asian vets like Kelly from Kison, Ginger who is now at Plus, and Sheila who is currently at Crystal made their way through that place as well. Heard a few reasons as to why they closed down but figure best not to talk about anything I'm not totally sure of. Hopefully this doesn't become a trend with places like Rejuve closing as well. Have fun and be safe out there.

Ginger at Plus; is she the same one that worked at Pine Tree years ago when it was in it's previous location?

I remember when Hula's was in it's previous location on that multi story building next the parking on the corner of Keeaumoku and Young. They had young girls there of various ethnicities. That last time I remember Hula's being really good was when they had Yas, Donna and a few other hot Koreans that provided really good service. Too bad to see it go, but not surprised; over the last few years it seems to have been a place known for having mostly girls with SW attitudes about service.

Chi hi informed me a couple days ago that autumn quit the place Said it wasn't for her. Thought immediately that she might've gone back here but now this.

If anyone has a beat or knows about her Waikiki private spot please shoot me a text.

I passed this building today.

All plants decoration to blind people coming and goong out was removed and hula sign was gone too.

Postive or negative, this living history of honolulu AMP and non-asian pro chamber is gone with the wind.

Called only to find nobody answer.

But they keep upgrading ads. Some intel said they gave up business.

Sarah, who used to come in town now and then and work at Hula's, is now at Chichi's.

Seeing as how she was one of the girls who would work at Hula's when she'd come into town, it looks like Hula's is donezo.

If you were a regular of hers, I was told she'll be at Chichi's, working from noon to midnight.
