Posts: 615Hawaii Wins the Diamond Head Classic
I've mentioned before in the past the I work in media as a camera man. Covid actually killed my full-time media gig at one of the local companies but one thing I have always done, even if it meant having to work during the Christmas Holiday is the Hawaii Bowl and Diamond Head Classic.
I, like many of the lenses at the championship game of the DHC, was right under the net when McL hit that legendary 3 pointer before the buzzer. Tension was high as fuck and I remember watching the ball go into orbit and swish right in the bucket in total slow mo. It actually took me a couple of seconds realize what had just happened. Only reason why I snapped out of it was cause everyone on the floor was jumping and bumping into me as they ran onto the court. I got up to to get celebration footage but was stopped by wall of green jerseys piling on their man. Was even asked to step off the court by a surprisingly calm Head Coach G cause the game wasn't officially over yet.
My adrenaline was so high after that game my hands were shaking in the media room when I was breaking down my gear and filing on my laptop. No one in there, not even the news guys could believe what just happened. "That story just wrote itself!" was what all of them were saying. Also, history had been written. Hawaii Rainbow Warriors men's basketball's first win at their home turf tournament. I am so grateful to have been there at that moment in time. Something I will never forget in all my years working the industry.
Adrenaline still carried over onto the next day and I released that tension by seeing Nicole at Lemon Blossom. Sticking my dick in OL Saint Nic. That, my friends, is another story.

All kine upsets so I dunno. But here goes nothing. Damn UH back door cover came 1 week too late for me. Seeing that unlv was able to hang with Fresno, I got to take unlv -11 this week.
For NFL I'm taking Bears -3 and giants -3 on a parlay. Playing Denver / raiders under 41.

My pick for the week is Fresno -27.5. UH doesn't have a defense to hold Fresno to under 40 points, their only chance is to keep scoring with them, but I don't see that happening. I think Fresno wins by 31 or more.
