UH Manoa could forge tight partnerships will all parking, eateries and provide shuttles and security for total game day experience. Host year round clinics with strength and conditioning all athletes at THE CHING. Can be done quite easily. Lasner can do. Want inspiration? Just look across the field to the LES. First class baseball venue built by Tatsuno, bonafide All American. The LES still has upside, too. Year round connection to Little Leagues would be good.

Aloha to Aloha stadium. Its a rail stop--make it housing gem, shopping, recreation for the little ones. Formula 1 track would be a global destination. UH no need be mixed up in all the politics and handouts that are already in motion. Vote them out kids, vote them career politicians out.

For example, premium ticket seats in the stadium, then to handle the overflow, standard ticket seats in the baseball field that has been converted into a video amphitheater with live action feed of the game with multiple camera angles. And last but not least, grass seating on the softball field, for the budget conscious, bring your own bentos and drinks, let your kids run around on the grass. Just like Sunset on the beach. The lower campus would definitely be rocking.

So where are the Senators in the Moiliili district and why are they not fighting for funds to expand the stadium in their own back yard. By improving the facilities, it will revitalize UH Manoa and the community around it into a great college town. Especially a community that is riddled with crime and homelessness. Just save Aiea for much needed housing, the population increase itself would help local businesses thrive without a sporting event. By doing so, this would benefit multiple communities at the same time and at a much lower cost to the taxpayer.

Not only that look at the prices for seats I was looking for cheapest seats I saw over $5000. How is the basic fan suppose to pay for tickets at that price.

That's crazy, $5000 for the cheapest?! Had a couple of friends that went to SoFi for the Chargers / Browns game earlier this season. IIRC they paid $600+ and these were in the nosebleeds LOL. Being a SB and in a brand new fancy stadium like SoFi I guess the market is justified to some, but that's just not worth it.

Initially I disagreed with the take considering the Rams are getting a home game for this SB, then I remembered it's the LA fan base. The lack of fans at home games is well known for the Chargers, but even the Rams appear to have a weak fan base in LA. Last week I saw pictures where it seemed like half of SoFi were red for the visiting 9 ers. And for a trip to the SB no less! Guess there's just too many other things to do in LA, or people just don't give a shit LOL.

For those who might be pondering a last minute trip to the Super Bowl, this may be the year. My buddy who lives in LA told me today that there's a strong buzz going around town that ticket prices may decline sharply by next week. Most fans were expecting at least a #1 or #2 seed in it, instead there's two #4's. Who would have thought that Cincinnati would get there? A few did, but not many I suppose, I thought KC, Buffalo or Tennessee. The Rams are good, really good, but where's the "Bay" teams? 49 ers, Green, Tampa. The networks aren't too thrilled, neither are the scalpers, maybe there's a bargain out there for all those long time NFL fans who want to cross out a big one off of their bucket list. Congrats to 2 very exceptional young head coaches, Sean McVay and Zac Taylor. Who would have thought just a week ago when Timmy Chang got hired that at age 40 that he's older than both Super Bowl coaches. Hard to believe that Sean McVay who coached in the Super Bowl 3 years ago is still just 36. Good luck to all, hope your team wins or better yet, win your block pool!
