Sorry you had a terrible experience. At least it was a very long time ago, but something that you never forgot. Did you get robbed at gunpoint? Do you mind sharing the details? It's crazy how people often say your "gut feeling" is normally smarter than both of your heads combined.

On a completely different topic, my favorite quote from Phantasm II is "NO! It's NOT!". Said by The Tall Man himself. I only mentioned this because of the Halloween season in case your handle indicates a fan of the series.

I can't say if your visit would have ended in a waste of money (or much worse) , but I applaud you for going with your gut instinct. It's often true what they say, in that your intuition is usually far smarter than your little head + big head combined. I bet you had a feeling it was going to be some kind of setup. If not with the cops, then maybe with a thug in the back room or something. Sometimes a girl may have a guy lurking in the closet for her protection, but if she's a pro and familiar with the biz she really doesn't need that.

Sometimes what happens along the way are subtle, yet VERY SERIOUS clues on what their intentions really are. Often a person's general demeanor has a huge impact. Was she perky & friendly? Was she overly cautious? Or, was she a little too inquisitive on details from you? Were the initial contacts through email? Did it seem like she was getting you to say things in writing throughout various "stages" as a means to set you up? The clever entrapper may try to get you to say specific things that can be held as evidence in court.

I bet as you were driving to the place you kept shaking your head NO-NO-NO to yourself. Your heart was probably pounding, and not from the excitement of getting a fresh young hottie. Instead something deep inside felt terribly wrong. Dude, the moral of the story is there is PLENTY of pussy out there! Putting your life and well-being in danger is just not worth the risk my friend. Never forget that! I don't care how great a deal it seems, chances are if it sounds too good to be true that's absolutely the case. This is a risky hobby to begin with.

As an added bonus (and this what I always try to say to other mongers) , is that the worst case scenario by avoiding this girl allowed you to save some $money$ as well as your behind! The money you saved can now be spent on better things, such a night out on the town, drinking with friends, or even having the funds available for a different provider sometime in the near future. Walking away is never something to be ashamed of.

Had you stayed, it sounds like the best experience you could have hoped for was a rushed & unfriendly non-repeat session with a ROB. I hate to think what the worst case scenario would have been, but I'm sure your imagination is just as good as mine. In my opinion, that was an excellent call you made on that one (right or wrong).
