I am using Google Voice on my Mac in Incognito Mode. When I am texting there is an "add Image" icon to the left of the text box. When I click on it, I am taken to a location for which no file name is given or indicated. However, shown are screen shots of every profile and picture I have captured while on Seeking. It has these going back to 2015 about when I started. It does not include any other screen shots taken elsewhere or at other times. It does not allow me to move up a level to attach images from another location. I have tried using finder to identify the file location but cannot find them. Typically, when I use screen capture on my Mac, the image is saved to my desk top. I then move those images to a gmail draft folder. Afterwards, I move the image to trash and then empty the trash can. I thought my process would ensure no lasting image would be preserved on my computer. Does anybody know what is going on here?

I am perplexed.

If someone hasn't already said so, try going to Google Photos you should be able to remove them from there. It functions like Photo Stream in the Apple world but seems more aggressive and doesn't roll off after 30 days. You might have also connected Google to other services and it'll scrape images and videos from there also. I found this out by trying what you did above and got a list of images and videos from my spare Android phone I have around.

I used to work for them (google). Trust me they do a lot of shit you don't know about. Like saving any info they have on you that they think they can somehow monetize in the future is going to be saved.

I do almost what you do, except, IDK what incognito mode is, my laptop is old, maybe that's new. I use the EPIC browser, which has its own builtin in VPN. Anyway, I do lots of the things you do. I also can click that 'add image' icon in the text window, the window that opens has 3 tabs. Your photos, Photo albums, and upload photos. I have a couple of my 'real' photos in the first. I presume that these are there from past things I have sent via GV. I don't necessarily like those being in google's hands, but don't have alternatives. I looked into the second tab for the first time. There's a video there a girl sent me long ago, but when I click it it goes away. Oh well. Desinoah - one more thing. Try to get them to meet today or tomorrow. Going beyond that and the likelihood of it not happening significantly increases.
