Being to aggressive may be off-putting to a provider who is meeting you for the first time. It might backfire! I've always just been nice and polite, complementing them on their looks and such. Oftentimes, I'll say "thank you for seeing me" as they enter the door and give them a nice innocent kiss on the cheek and gentle rub on the lower back or butt. If you aren't too much of a creep, are clean, and endearing to them. And they find you attractive, you'll get the services you want. This has worked at many of the places I've gone to for the first time, including Kison (which I've only been to once as the girls are not really my cup of tea).

When I first read this post I'm thinking, fuck; Joe's just messing with this poor guy's head! But then I realized, like no, Joe is giving good advice! No reason to lie. Mama asks just to be sure that you aren't some tourist who is walking in expecting a legitimate massage for $50. She just wants to be sure that you know what you are in for and are prepared to pay $200 for the next hour.

Just tell her that you haven't been there but you've been to Ume, or Pinetree / Osaka or Golden or wherever. She won't do a background check on you but doesn't want to have to deal with some misguided tourist. It might be a good idea to call 10 minutes or so before you arrive and ask if it's OK for a walk-in and maybe ask who's available in 10 minutes. At 12:35 today (April 30,2019) I stopped to see for myself. Sign on the door says "OPEN. Come on in". Sure enough, I open the door and hesitate a bit wondering. Before I can ring the bell, Mama comes to the door with. "Hello. Have you been here before?" Just like she would have last week or last year. She starts to open the door but I let her know that I didn't have time today and that I just stopped to see if they were still open after. She gives my a sheepish grin and says "Yes, still open".
