I've used it. They take it too literally and want a FS rate for simply meeting. It may be me though. The theme of the site gives them such a big out if they don't like something about you like your age, your car, your gender. Whatever, they can simply say "its just for the date". If the first date offer is low enough, it is worth it in my opinion to be simply to meet them over a dinner.

I tried it for a bit and found it a total waste of time. Many of the girls clearly expect to get paid to accompany you to a nice restaurant to be wined and dined, and then never see you again. Others want a significant amount of money just for a coffee at Starbucks. Some even demand the money in advance of the first date.
