I'd rather they use it for rent, their kids, school or something like that. Why do you care what she spends an allowance on? Set your limits and go for there.

I've had a few longer term arrangements where they start to depend upon your allowance for things like rent. When it ends, I do feel a little bad but I am no longer supporting them. That is there problem.

Personally I do prefer SB's who have a basic income and can pay for the cost of living things themselves. I'm not much for a charity sob story as most of them are scams anyways. Get together and just have fun / relax.
