All of these "Adjective" + "Noun" profiles with one pic are fake. I just block them instantly!

https://api.seeking.com appears to be some sort of admin panel for this site, which allows for login via google. I would bet there's some half-truth to this.

Several ladies told me they got a premium membership by acting as a moderator on SA.

One lady showed me that she could read other users PMs and look at any profile. We had a falling out some months later, a week or so after the falling out I was banned for "identity theft". You can draw your own conclusions.

Sigh. Of course I did. I even made sure to grab the link before I blocked her so I could throw it into the post, but I screwed up.

On the plus side, it looks like her\his profile is gone. Not just blocked or deactivated, looks like SA deleted it outright. I don't see it in my inbox at all anymore and I have others that have blocked me or I have blocked still showing up.

Went down the path of discussing a meetup and then I received this: "hmm let's start with a gift from my wishlist then we can schedule a meet and greet dinner date."

LOL Nope. Scammer.

I took a closer look at her picture: her face looks photoshopped if you look closely. Anyways, just a warning to you.

Has anyone ever had a bait and switch situation on SA? Recently, I've had 3-4 situations in which I've set up a meet with reasonable allowances and they are all in and ready to come until I ask for some form of verification that they are the person in their profile (current selfie doing something specific, facetime). They either try to completely ignore and just send random selfies which don' prove anything or just stop messaging and block me. I wonder if these are cases of bait-and-switch cause in any of these situations they didn't ask for deposit or money for gas or even try to sell pictures.

I have not had this happen to me, but then again, I have not seen anyone on SA for a while. It is not surprising that it is happening now. A lot of scammers see this as a good way of making some money. I do agree with you completely if a SA does not send you the requested selfie, you should move on. That is a definite sign that something is not right. All of these SB have tons of selfies, there is no privacy issues anymore so sending a particular selfie should not be something they should be concerned over.

I look for an odd screen name (CuteHeiress, CuteDame, BrilliantDame, DynamicAngel, FineFan, etc). Account only a day or two old and only 1 pic and it's an immediate pass. They all want to go to text quickly, poor grammar, and use of words that you would not usually hear from an American. They all end up wanting to sell you pics.
