Been on there for about 8 years, have yet to have anybody ask for job info, facebook or linkin info, not sure who asked you but maybe you sounded like a jerk. It certinly isn't the norm for HX. So don't paint the site with a broad brush just w your experience.

It was shutdown (or blown away), probably permanently, since the end of August. There was speculation, as described on Reddit, that it was owned by c*i*t*y*v*i*b*e and there was increasing risk and scrutiny from LE because it "facilitated prostitution".

Can't be wrong very often to assume that:

Once you get a few network ratings, you should be golden. I've never had to give any personal info. When starting up, if you are uncomfortable with the amount of info being requested, just move on to the next one.

Don't give anyone your real name, job, phone number, photo of face, or anything else. I saw some idiot recently upload his w9, college I'd and drivers license to a public gallery that showed up in the New Uploads section. Please don't be that guy.

Some will request screening. Some will claim but won't really. The ones that advertise on BP will be less likely. The ones with greedy bookers that don't really care will definitely be less likely.

Thanks Dolato for the insight. Like Mustang3 I'm finding (as expected) that the AAMPs want my left testicle as collateral since I don't have any refs yet. I am hoping that once I get 2-3 refs in my network that they will ease up. It ain't easy finding the right combo of a girl who offers light screening and is palatable.
