Yep, according to what I read in the local news is cracking down on code violations.
Plus the new rule the therapist must be licensed.
Rotten pricks.

Rotten pricks.
That's what I suspected. Showing up with a code inspector in tow (probably the plain clothes guy with no badge listed in the previous report) and checking licenses is quicker than sending in a UC / CI to gather evidence and yields an immediate result without having to wait for a trial. Most AMPs I have seen are in older buildings in low rent areas so if they want to shut them down digging up a few juicy code violations isn't that difficult. It seems to be the go to tactic in many jurisdictions now along with licensing and zoning ordinances. The only down side I can see for LE is that if they don't establish criminal activity they can't seize cash / property.
Yes ad jasmine, pearl, may, yu spa on hick grove, I see shang hi was open tho, not sure of lillys or studio or places across the river, with all the stolen cars, shootings and gen bs in this shit town I think the cops need to focus on that instead of massage places, they have been here a long time and I can't recall any problems le having with them, although I think it has alot to do w salty lmts who complained about them, I see a lmt lady and all she ever did was piss and moan about them stealing biz from them so idk maybe they will move into apts like they have in Chicago.
Any word from across the river? Heading into town next week and wondering if I should abstain.
I don't know.
I will be back this wkend and was kinda curious myself.
I need a good stress relief, but don't need to make the evening news either. LOL.
Any word from across the river? Heading into town next week and wondering if I should abstain.
I saw a news article that said Moline and Bettendorf are considering ordinances similar to the licensing ordinance Davenport passed and is presumably using to shut places down. That suggests to me they are planning the same course of action. I don't know anything specific but I personally will be giving AMPs in the entire QCA a wide berth for the foreseeable future. Better safe than sorry in my opinion.
I tried to go to the one that was robbed near North Park and it was closed a couple of weeks ago. Ended up hitting Sunset, so they are closed too? That place only had one girl working it seemed and I had no trouble getting in even though a couple of months ago it was busy. Thanks, Kraft, you fuck! I knew this was coming eventually.

He's just one of us, trying to have a good time.
Major difference is he has more money and fame.

The crack journalists at the QCtimes had a prominent story about local AMPs in Sundays paper. So beware, there will be more attention from busy bodies calling for the Government to "do something" about the remaining businesses. It's shame because it was a fairly safe option for us and the girls. I'll really miss the ease of getting a nice rub and tug.
