I went to CLV for a change of pace a couple of fridays ago. I chose Susan. She did an ok job, but kept hinting for tips. I hate that. She kept saying the more tip she got the naughtier we would get. She is a good salesman and I ended up throwing an extra $45 into the mix. She is also a "truth stretcher" because nothing extra was available at all. I should have known better after all of this time.
It was a good visit. She has a great rack, and allowed play, but not worth the extra tip. --my opinion

It's been my experience that the providers at CLV are happy with a $20 tip. I tip that much at either place. The increase in the door fee, however, pisses me off a bit. It's not like the service at CLV is 10% better. They're basically the same, except for different providers to choose from.

What is the expected tip if you get the basic service at one of the belvidere locations? I plan on going to one of them in the next couple of weeks and want to be fair.
The tip is built into the price and un-necessary. These girls make good money.
If you leave five or ten, it is generous. There is no variability in the service and anyone that states differently is blowing smoke.
If you get bad service, find a different provider, the tip wont change the attitude.
Recently I had a visit with someone at Exec who's name I can not remember. Older woman; long dark hair, a little bigger but not fat. Anyway it was my second visit with her and after I paid her I laid $25 on the plate as a tip and she said "how about we go for two times today?". I don't know if she would have said that had I put the $25 down or not, but just thought I'd throw that out.
Also wanted to say that recently I ignored the warnings of not choosing Sarah and had one of the worst Exec experiences I have had. Would definitely not chose her again.
Tipping is optional. I agree that it won't get you additional items on the menu.
I tip for good attitude and technique. I have "not tipped" at Exec when the attitude and/or technique was lacking. The amount to tip is personal; use a percentage that you would for a good waitress, barber, or traditional massage therapist.

I was at Exec last week and heard a new name....Judy. I did not see her, but am always interested in new talent. Has anyone met her?
Also, while I was there I saw a middle aged woman come down the stairs in business attire. I later confirmed that this is the owner. I am partial to older gals and she was a looker. Anyone know anything about her?

Your post about tipping makes me feel like less of a cheapskate. I was a frequent visitor to the Exec back before I knew about this board and I never tipped unless the service was exceptional (I had no idea what the protocol was). After reading this board for a few years, I was starting to think that I'd really done these girls a disservice and that everybody else was dropping an extra 50% every time they went, regardless of the service. I still wish I'd been a little more generous, but at least now I don't feel too far out of line.

Turkey John,
Unless there's been a change, the owner would be Linda, aka Robin, who started ERS with Brandy after they both left CLV back in the mid 70s.
She always DID look good and kept herself up well. I'm sure she could step back into an RA role any time she wanted and give any of her employees a run for their money.
IMHO
Okay, so I decided to try someone different at CLV today-Ginger. I've mentioned Ginger before, and I believe some other board members have too. Ginger is easily 50+ something. She's in good shape for an older gal, and says that she has been at CLV for a long time. I usually opt for the late 20 to early 30 y/old providers, but thought why not let's give her a try. Ginger has an aged face from tanning/smoking, and has a thin body with a little sagginess from age. So she is definately not the most stunning I've seen, or make the top ten for that matter.
But where her looks and age hamper her, her massage skills make up for it. She gives a very good/strong massage. Works out a lot of sore muscles and kinks, and tries very hard to make the massage part of the experience memorable. As she is finishing up the massage, she has a very unique two handed style that was great. Very talented finish.
So would I repeat? Yes, I probably would.
Door Fee $95
Tip $30
Okay, don't slam me for the $30 tip till you try her. It was worth the extra $10.
Booger
Ken Blue Eyes sums up my opinion pretty well. I've talked at length with one of the gals on this subject. Believe me, a tip is expected. I always leave one, 10 would be a bare minimum, 20 average, more depending on the service. (Did you get two pops, was she really enthusiastic, cooperative, etc.)
If you are the kind that doesn't tip a waitress, you won't tip here I guess.
And we don't know how much these gals make, do we? I was always told they got half the door fee and the tips. So, if a gal sees two guys a day, wow, she made a whole 80-90 dollars...
Tips are expected at any Asian Massage Parlor, read the boards. Even with a tip, you're getting good value at Executive.
I usually tip $15 (the change from the hundred I lay out at the beginning of the session). Sometimes a little more (20-25) depending on the service and sometimes not at all depending on the service. Because I usually only get there once every couple of months and usually see a different girl every time I realize that by time I see a girl twice she will have no idea how much I tipped her the first time if any. Usually she doesn't remember me anyhow. That being said I will tip a girl who puts a little extra effort into the session. Maybe by her allowing more hand roaming, a unique finish, or just having a pleasant attitude. However, if she just performs the standard service with nothing extra why should she be rewarded for it? It would provide no incentive to try and make the session more enjoyable if she knows she's getting tipped either way. This usually hasn't been a problem for me at Exec. because the girls there have almost always had very good attitudes during the session.
On another note about a year ago there was a lot of mention of girls at Exec. offering two pops during the session. It doesn't seem that any reports of late include this in the menu. I personally have never been offered it there but have had sessions with girls who were apparently offering it to others. I was just wondering how you go about asking for it. Do you use the words "pops" or "cups of tea" or are those just message board terms? Don't want her thinking I want two cans of coke.
It seems there are a lot more positive posts coming from CLV as of late. I was tossing around the notion of stopping in there next time I'm in town and then I read that they raised their rates to $95. What are they thinking? When you've been the #2 place on the block for at least the last 5 yrs. you don't charge more than your competition. I just hope that Exec. doesn't decide to follow suit.
Well gotta run. Play safe guys.
Slammer
most girls I've talked to don't expect a tip. My guess if the girl expects a tip, expect poor service (though I've never gotten it myself). I may tip either 5 or 10, depending if I've seen the girl before and if she remembers me. Basically, the most my total cash outlay is $100, but I average $90. Don't think that these girls don't make a lot of money. They average what, $40/hr? Granted, they don't work 8 hours a day (I don't even think professional masseuses do), but remember that $40/hr roughly translates to $80k/yr. For what? Handjobs? (some groping, some licking). In reality, the last girl I talked to a lot there (should still work there) worked like maybe 20 hrs/wk. For that economy and for the value that they bring, that's a good deal for them. Think about it, if the money was so bad, we would be seeing a lot of basket cases and girls ranking a 4 on the SW scale. Luckily we get 5s and 6s and the occasional 7. Speaking of which, are there any skinny girls there?
On getting two cups: I just ask for it. If the girl doesn't know what I'm talking about, I let it go and I probably won't tip (or tip small) (yes, yes, yes, I know, I'm a bastard). If the girl is cool about it with no hesitation, then I'll tip my max. Oh, and you have to skip the spa. Last time I was there, most girls want to skip the spa anyway.
Hey Chief,
At CLV during the day-time, there is a super skinny dishwater blond late 30's girl (name might be Mandy). I've seen her in the lobby a couple of times, but I haven't picked her yet. I was going to the other day but she was not available.
Regarding girls asking for tips, some do and some don't. It seems the older ones always say that "Tips are appreciated" at the beginning, but I never tip till the end. I vary from 20 depending on service.
Two pops have been more possible at CLV than at Executive in my experience. I tipped a girl $40 once, and the next session she offered up two pops.
Any reports on Exec?
