Just curious,
Have any of you fellow SW hobbyists ever seen these three who are always out on the SW just hanging out:
1.) An older, heavy-set, very dark, black guy with grayish hair who ALWAYS hangs out by the corner of Badger and Park during warm weather? Apparently years ago his dad was killed in an accident at that location so for some reason this guy's obsessed with always hanging out on that particular corner after dark. I often spot him standing by the newspaper stand with a can of beer (it could be soda). Anyhoo, I was just wondering if any of you guys have seen him.
2.) The old thin granny with the frizzy hair who's ALWAYS strolling Badger. I'm not sure if she's trickin' but she's always out on Badger. I see her constantly. She's very skinny and it always looks like she's walking with a purpose, to some destination. It's just weird b/c she's always freakin' out there. Of course if any mongerer were to pick her up...well, let's just say he'd have to have his eyes checked.
3.) The very old white-haired guy who's ALWAYS out by North and E. Wash. He sometimes wears orange (& it's not 'orange guy' the dude who plays the flute constantly). This old white-haired dude sort of shuffles around very slowly around North and E. Wash. I see him almost every time I hit North/Oak looking for action.
I was just curious if any of my fellow SW hobbyists have spotted any of the aforementioned denizens.
Stay safe and always be on the lookout for LE.
#3 - I have seen this fellow around for sevral years if it is the guy i am thinking of with the wild white hair, squatty and shuffles. He he might just be homeless but I suspect he lives in a group home in that area although I do not know that. I usually see him during the day or early evening. I have not seen him hanging with the group at the church just off North street which is a homeless shelter.
If it is the taller, very thin guy with wild hair and has some twisting of one hand and foot, that is Jim. He is a disabled fellow whom lives in a group home near that area and often does odd jobs for businesses in the area in exchange for meals and some minor pay. He likes to work and is a nice guy although hard to understand with a heavy speach impedement and is very proud of all that he does. More power to him, I say. Jim does not move slowly so probaly not the fellow you are talking about.

Dane County has settled a lawsuit with a town of Middleton strip club allowing it to provide nude entertainment, the county's attorney said Friday.
Midrad LLC, which owns Outer Limits tavern, 7302 Highway 14, had filed a lawsuit against the county and town of Middleton in September alleging that local ordinances were restricting its constitutional right to provide nude dancing.
A Milwaukee attorney handling the case for the county advised settling based on recent federal case law, Corporation Counsel Marcia MacKenzie said.
Remzy Bitar, the Milwaukee attorney, didn't respond to calls Friday, and settlement documents haven't yet been filed in federal district court.
As a result of the settlement, the town of Middleton, which tried to withhold a liquor license because the club was offering nude dancing, is working out an alcohol licensing agreement that will ensure the club follows other rules, such as prohibiting lap dances, private rooms and other activities that could promote prostitution, town attorney Mark Hazelbaker said.
The county created an ordinance in 2005 that allows the creation of an adult entertainment center district in areas zoned for industrial use. The ordinance states that "adult entertainment establishments may have an adverse secondary effect on the surrounding community" and also does not "permit the regulation of any activities conducted in adult entertainment establishments which are entitled to protection under the First Amendment."
Hazelbaker said he was told the county settled because the language in the ordinance does not list enough support for the "secondary impacts," which can include police calls for violence or prostitution.
"You can't ban nudity just because you don't like nudity," Hazelbaker said. "You can regulate it or prohibit it because it has a negative impact."
Zoning Administrator Roger Lane said the county is considering revisions to the ordinance that would include more detailed documentation of the secondary effects of strip clubs based on national studies.
Lane declined to speculate on what impact the county's decision to allow Outer Limits to provide nude entertainment would have on its ability to enforce the ordinance in other cases.

http://host.madison.com/wsj/news/local/govt_and_politics/article_ad318c7a-6abf-11df-86eb-001cc4c03286.html
Interesting strategy by the county and/or Middleton. Allow full nudity but ban lap dancing. Couple of questions come to mind. First, how strict will their enforcement be? If strictly enforced, how will that affect supply-and-demand of the club in general? Will enough guys want to go if lappers aren't available and will there be enough dancers to work without that income source during their shift?
Personally, the no lap dancing policy won't keep me away. Though I worry this might result in an increased cover charge and they might eliminate any specials they have (2-for-1 drinks during happy hour).
How will banning lap dances prevent prostitution?
They would have to ban hotels if they wanted to do that.
No lap dances or private rooms because those could promote prostitution, really? I don't buy it.
I'd like to have been there when this brain-storming session took place, these over-educated idiots scratching their heads (they don't have balls to scratch) coming up with that idea. Imagine the moment the "light bulb" went on in their head, I would have laughed my fucking ass off!
In reality, it will probably do just the opposite. Removing an option that may have been satisfactory for a select group of individuals to get their needs met, now may turn to other options. Not all guys are looking for fucking if other options they enjoy are available. Look at all the massage girls who provide a happy ending who have a serious following of repeat customers and you see what I mean. Strippers provide yet another outlet too, through lap dances and private shows that offer enjoyment without fucking, exactly what some individuals are happy with. Take that away and those same individuals will likely look elsewhere, potentially prostitution, the exact opposite of what they want people to believe will happen.
These sexually repressed individuals with law degrees and government jobs should watch the Discovery Channel and maybe learn a thing or two. Here's a start: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaVRBMvmXx8&feature=fvst
This is an expensive night at a strip club!
At least Keith Rasmussen got to see "some nice strippers" before getting kicked out of Visions and then ramming his SUV into the strip club, Madison police reported.
The 50-year-old Racine man was arrested on a variety of charges after he allegedly backed his Hyundai SUV into the entrance to the club at 3554 E. Washington Ave. at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
Rasmussen fled the scene in his SUV after smashing it into the club, but was found parked in a parking lot on East Washington about nine blocks away.
"He denied driving the SUV to that location," said police spokesman Joel DeSpain. "He said he arrived there with the help of Martians."
The rocky road Rasmussen took to jail started when he was asked to leave the club after vomiting in a VIP area. He left, and headed to his vehicle.
"A man in the parking lot urged him not to drive, but he got into the SUV, put it in reverse and gunned the engine," DeSpain said.
The man who had urged Rasmussen not to drive and a woman near the entrance had to get out of the way as the SUV rammed the club's entrance.
He then put the SUV into drive, jumped the curb on East Washington and headed toward downtown.
"A witness saw the SUV enter a parking lot at a high rate of speed and called police," DeSpain said.
Responding officers found Rasmussen sitting in his SUV.
"The officer asked how he was doing and he said 'Not good,'" DeSpain said, "But he added he had seen some nice strippers."
Rasmussen was tentatively charged with operating while intoxicated, reckless driving, hit and run, and entering or leaving a controlled access unlawfully.
Staff at Visions closed the club earlier than normal after the entrance was smashed, the police report said.
he was asked to leave the club after vomiting in a VIP area.
The only gagging and subsequent throwing up that should be taking place back in the VIP should be by a stripper deep-throating the customer's cock.
Is that the stripper pole the contractors have propped up holding the building up?
Does anyone know if the girls at any of the Madison-area strip joints do outside the club work?
Does anyone know if the girls at any of the Madison-area strip joints do outside the club work?
Talk to the girls first. If they talk really horny and nasty, you might be onto something. Ask if they do bachelor parties or birthdays. Then get a lap dance. When you're alone with them, then ask them if they do one man shows. Black girls are more likely to provide take out than white girls.
Silk is having a special 1 year anniversary party next weekend on Saturday. They are advertising 100+ strippers / entertainers on their website. Might be a good time to visit.

Hey mongers, Milwaukee guy but I was out this way so I stopped in. Used to come around here years ago. Long story short the place sucked IMO. Dancers just wanted to go to the smoking deck and hang out. Lapper was light contact, strictly one way. I won't be back anytime probably in the next five years or so.

OTOH, I stopped in there for a drink last Saturday, and there was a decent crowd and at least 3 or 4 dancers working that I thought were pretty cute, and when I stepped out to the smoking area for about 2 minutes, none of them were out there.
I guess the moral of the story is: like everything else, YMMV.
