Senior member coming to SD first week in January. I haven't seen any reports from here in a while. Can anyone tell me a sitrep on the border? I was thinking of going to TJ and trying Adelitas or one of the other establishments and would appreciate any recommendations/information. I wasn't sure with H1N1 or any other issues if I should stay in SD and save myself the trouble. PMs are fine. Let me know if you are ever in my areas. Thanks, take care and play safe.
No "issues" to be concerned about. However, be aware that there is an annual holiday chica exodus/migration this time of year. The holiday season officially ends in Mexico after "El Dia de los Reyes" (Day of the Kings) which is Jan. 7th I believe. However, traditionally the TJ bars and streets have a fraction of the normal chica availability well into January and even later. In years past when business was better, chicas would leave in November and return in late February and early March - the zona was a ghost town between Christmas and Day of the Kings. Now the bad economy is keeping more chicas in town and shortening the duration of holiday vacations. So bottom line, is you won't find a very good selection in early January, but it will be better than in prior years, and probably more than enough.
If you speak a little bit of Spanish, look for winning chicas in bars like Tropical and Las Chevales. Much better service and better times than dealing with the room robots of Adelitas. Hong Kong is a must visit location but it runs hot and cold if you are particular about looks. Chicago Club is not too bad these nights - never good in the daytime.
Bottom line is if you are here for pure leisure and mongering, TJ at its worst is better than SD at its best. If you are going to put some serious time into TJ I strongly advise staying on the Mexico side - specifically at a downtown luxury hotel called Hotel Ticuan (8th street between Constitucion and Revolucion). It's only $50 per night for a Marriott quality room that is only about a half mile from the zona de panocha - a $3 cab ride or 10-15 minute walk, and you won't have to deal with the fucking border day in and day out. Bring chicas back to this hotel for memorable all nighters after you take 'em out for dinner, drinking and dancing. Beats the hell out of a 30 minute get 'em in, get 'em off, get 'em out session at Adelita Bar or the same for $20 with a street girl. If you speak no spanish, than your options are more limited - but still good times with good chicas available.
