There appears to be a Tokyo Spa visible from I-70, north of the interstate, vicinity of exit 124. I would have gone there, but did not know it existed until I had already contacted Macey (see write up in backpage section. Actuall maybe exit 124 is past Columbia MO a ways? I just was looking for somewhere when I was around Columbia, then I saw Tokyo Spa soon there after so the two are associated in my mind, but it may be further west of Columbia on I-70.

Columbia, MO used to be a crazy place. The AMP you mentioned and several others have been around for a long time. I wasn't around back then, but after reading the archived threads on this forum I've learned that the glory days were maybe 10 years ago. I remember reading in a newspaper where a police chief in Columbia said they wanted to get rid of the town's reputation as the 'prostitution capital' of Missouri. There was a big LE crackdown in Columbia and from what I've read it's been hit-or-miss since then.
From reading the old threads, it looked like there were once five massage parlors in town. Four asian, one American. Now there are three AMPs left, Fuji Sauna, Foxy Sauna and Tokyo Spa.
I am planning on a trip to Columbia soon, and will visit one one of the parlors when I'm there.
I am leaning toward Tokyo Spa, since the description I have read of the woman who works there really sounds like me type. However, it also sounds like she is the hardest to get service from. There are a few recent posts about her in the 'General Reports' section.
Do any of the Columbia old-timers or fellow newcomers have any thoughts or suggestions?
Interesting comments about the good ol' days.
Yes, Columbia used to be a lot of fun.
One of my all-time favorites at Fuji Sauna told me that she regularly serviced some of the city officials, including the chief of police.
Maybe she was bragging, but I think not.
Something must have happened, but who knows what it was.
These things come and go.

I have been there probably a dozen times back in the good old days. I was in Columbia this weekend and saw their ad on BP. Any info would be great. If you want to PM that is great as I don't want to cause any problems if there is something worth reporting.
Thanks

Does anyone know what has happened to Sunny, who used to be at Foxy massage?
PM me if you want.
I miss her.
Thanks.

Been to alot of AMPs all over the country and she was one of the BEST. I live in the Chicago area and stop off to see her when on vacation. I even went s few 100 miles out of my way. She was well worth it. Barney.

I'll be there next week anyone have anything to report on Shoguns, Foxy's, or Tokyo? Recommendations?

Had issues with regulating the water temperature. Experience was on the low end of average. Decent.
Tokyo: Provider came to the door but she had a monger already and she was the only provider there. She was very nice and I would have liked to experience her services. At the end of a cul-de-sac.
Shogun Sauna: Don't go! .
Happy hunting!

Happy hunting![/QUOTE]Why not? I see them advertise on backpage quite often. Seems like there is a cutie that works there.
I haven't stopped by Shogun for quite a while.
But when I did last, I was met by a much older woman.
When I asked if there were others working there, she said no.
So I left.
In the good ol' days, there have been some very attractive women there, both white and Asian.
Maybe they come and go.
But I'd always ask at the door to see what's available.
Shogun stays open, so it must have some steady business.

I've never read anything good about Shogun Sauna. I have never been there, and I wasn't around in the in the glory days and so I can't comment about how it used to be.
I do wonder about that place though. It is pretty weird how it shares a parking lot with a used car place. I've read on a few occasions how in small towns, sometimes used car dealers can be quite shady and sell drugs from their business. Obviously not all or even most of them do this. But it does make me wonder when I see a crappy looking place, or a decrepit used car dealership in a high crime area, etc.
We've all read about pimping and human trafficking. It seems that the consensus among many forum members is that while these are real problems, they are also sometimes sensationalized and exaggerated. I do wonder about Shogun though, in that crappy parking lot with the Backpage ads typed in perfect English.
There are a lot of accusatory assumptions there about Shogun.
I don't think Vandiver Road is a high-crime area, for instance.
And it makes sense to me that if the owner of the land wants to allow a used-car dealer to park his or her cars there, what of it?
Etc.
These allusions to things dark and bad seem unwarranted to me.

I remember going into Shogun late one night about 10 years ago when I used to live in Columbia the first time. Mamason brought out an older ( 50) girl and it was obvious I was not interested. Shortly after debating with mamason for a few minutes, a young (early 20s) smoking hot asian chick comes out. Very pleasant experience with her.
I tried stopping by there 3 times (all during the day) since I have moved back to Columbia about a year ago. Each time, only one there was older Asian women. I passed. Unfortunately, I have completely struck out since I have been back. No action at all.
The only potential I see is to give Heather a try, which I have not gotten around to yet. I prefer massage with HE over full service, but need to find something.
