Right, Wrong and Areas of Gray
It looks like Supereloquent went out and got himself a law degree. Now, if he had just purchased it from some reputable place other than K-Mart, he might be onto something.
This much is true, gossip like this may increase LE's interest in individual people. That may cause LE to follow people around in the event they actually see something illegal going on. Then they know who, where, and when because they saw it.
Look. This subforum was created so CJ could get away from all the born haters and just do his job. CJ is a great would-be professional photographer and author. CJ's been doing this long enough to know what he's doing. Please leave him alone, or better, be supportive.
I am not a "hater." I have been and am a CJ supporter. All you have to do is read my posts to determine that (and apparently you haven't). But if he is going to get in my face about something for which I have apologized and for which he and others here are far bigger offenders, then I am going to respond. How many mongers on here have referenced a certain corner of a certain store with lucky numbers, or a certain subway station stop beginning with the letter "H," or particular corners on K where particular SWs hang out and when, or particular streets off K beginning with "C" and "S" and "O" and "L, " to name just a very few. If you bothered to read this whole thread my point has been merely that I provided no more or less information than those references (when spelled out, of course, which they are all the time in this forum), so why was I being singled out for a special trip to the woodshed (pun intended). I am not going to lie back and say, "Oh, it's CJ, he is above criticism and can say anything he likes." Just because you like his photo effort doesn't make him right. And just because I disagree with the harshness of something he had to say doesn't make me wrong. Nor does it make me unsupportive or unappreciative or disagreeable. I didn't throw the first rocks here. But I do have a point of view. Disagree with my point of view if you will. But don't be adolescent and make personal attacks like you were still on the playground.
Re: Throwing Stones from a Glass House?
Yes, it was not good form to post a name and a street and apparently I hit a nerve with some mongers on this one. And I stated my apology already. But others should know better regarding what people in glass houses should not do.
It still seems like you are trying to defend a bad decision. Fine! If it make you feel better, so be it. But don’t tie what I do, with what you did. It’s apples and oranges – they are both fruits, they are not the same thing. They both may be wrong, but they are still not the same thing. I may live in a glass house, but I was not throwing stones, I know better. However; I was trying to protect myself (and my house).
Just be careful. Use a little more discretion.

Re: A rose by any other name
They don't care to get into it with CookyJar and his cronies…
So be it. Post whatever you like. None of this matters anyway. As far as you are concerned, you are spot on point. Maybe you are. Who the hell am I to say, one way or another? I just hate the fact that you messed up a good thing for me; and for no justifiable reason.
I speak for myself.
Is CookyJar the final word on this just because he takes a lot of pictures?
No! I am not. Never said I was.

PS: That’s my final, final word on this subject.
