Screening and other thoughts.
Screening is par for the course in most cities and around the world. I understand that this new information is scary to many people, but you must also understand why it is necessary from a provider standpoint. We can re-hash this until the cows come home or understand that there is risk regardless of the path we choose to take. It's all about risk management and each person will make their own choice.
Now is the time to work together, not create division. If you want to salvage what's left of our community here in Tucson then we all need to do what's necessary to stay safe. I'm speaking from many years of experience working in other areas. Everyone acts like this is the first time something like this has ever happened, anywhere in the history of forever. It's not. We all pick up the pieces and move on the best we can. Either we support each other or we don't. What side will you choose? Either way, my ultimate desire is for everyone to be safe and treat each other with mutual respect. Enough with the small town mind set. We can all find a happy medium here.
[QUOTE=Uncivil;2528191]NOW will you guys believe me that allowing yourselves to be "screened" is a horribly bad idea?
