[QUOTE=SmileyScout; 1528343If you want to go really cheap, you can't beat Imperial Palace. $25 a night, no resort fees, and right in the center of the Strip. The only downside is the rooms aren't that great and the walls don't block out much noise. You get what you pay for. I don't think I've ever seen a CG there either. It's more of a party crowd, so probably less popular with the CGs.
My info may be out of date now but the bar to your left about halfway as you walk from the front of the casino to the back at IP used to have some CG action. They'd sit at the bar close to the aisle and see if anyone walking by was interested. This was a regular thing about a year ago, might still be happening.

I'll be in Vegas next month so I'll check it out and post a report when I get back, if nobody else beats me to it.

Good advice
The flamingo is like $50 something a night. It is the prime location. If you're on a budget, I wouldn't stay off strip. The blacjack dealers are the best there. I've been pretty lucky at their tables.
I agree, though I've been told by a friend who stayed at the Flamingo two weeks ago that the noise of the demolition of O'Sheas and the construction of the new alleyway attraction with the giant ferris wheel can be heard in the rooms, sometimes really loudly. Best advice if you stay there is to ask for a high floor facing toward the south end of the strip (Bellagio view).
I stayed in one of the rooms on the South end. The bad part about that section is if you are driving a rental car the walk from there to the parking garage seems like a mile. So far, that I asked to switch rooms. I have to say that both rooms were very quiet, although this was before the construction. Believe it or not the Bellagio has really noisy rooms. I had an old couple next to me that I could hear talking constantly and they weren't shouting or anything. Their TV was so loud I thought they must have opened the adjoining door to my room hoping for another closet or something. Maybe the rooms facing the fountain aren't insulated too well. Not sure if I'd stay there again.

I could hear the neighbors TV on one wall, and a person chopping up (seemingly cocaine) and doing a long loud sniff.

Can always mention the noise issues to mgmt and they will most often get you another room and have at times even have them upgrade.

RFM. 3 times
A guy I know went to Mandalay Bay and met a smoking hot thin blonde CG. He did not hook up that night but got her business card to stay in touch for future visits to Las Vegas. They began texting and it wasn't long before he started receiving RFM's: Requests for Money.
She tried all of the classic requests. Do any of these sound familiar?
"I need money for food and diapers for my son."
"I need money for rent because I'll get kicked out tomorrow if I don't get some money tonight".
"I'm sick and need medicine."
Wow. Seems like she could have been more creative than that. He's already heard those request a dozen times. And she doesn't use drugs like those other girls.

Has anyone, anywhere, ever actually believed these sob stories?

Have seen it before with added tears and whining and personally don't trust any of them. Most are addicts and will do anything they have to to get their next fix.
Using a monger phone it is no big deal to toss the phone if it gets too crazy not to mention many other added benefits.

Noise
Can always mention the noise issues to mgmt and they will most often get you another room and have at times even have them upgrade.
Same thing with the Venetian Rooms. Super thin walls. I could hear the neighbors TV on one wall, and a person chopping up (seemingly cocaine) and doing a long loud sniff.

The noise didn't bother me too much but at times it got annoying. I mentioned it on an on-line survey. Bellagio mgmt got back to me right away with the offer of a deep discount upon a future visit. I tried to press them for a rate but their answer was that it depends upon when I was going to stay. This place's rates very from day to day and week to week. Other than the noise I really liked it. The Flamingo was nice because of the closeness to the casino and strip. At the Bellagio you have walk really far to go from your room to walk on the strip. This was only irritating in the morning before I had my Starbucks. Bellagio doesn't have one.

Security
Has anyone here know anyone who's been eighty-sixed from casinos for soliciting CG's? I've watched some programs on Travelers channel about Vegas security cameras, and on how there's a software program for face recognition on known cheats, CG's, and johns in the LE database. Some of the security and LE on the shows talked about arresting the johns for soliciting in the casinos, and getting their mugshot in all the casinos database.

Why would a casino ban someone for soliciting a CG? Casinos only care about their bottom line. They ban cheats because cheats cause them to lose money. But a guy picking up a CG costs them nothing and can make them money if he's sitting in front of a machine or at a bar. Once he's banned that's one less person at the tables, plus people get uncomfortable when they see security dragging someone away which can further hurt the casino's bottom line.
Besides, casino security can only detain someone if they've broken the law. Talking to a CG is not illegal nor is it illegal to offer her money for her time. If it was then every escort agency in the country would be shut down. So long as you're smart about it and don't actually discuss sex for money on the casino floor, there's not really anything they can do other than eject you from the property, which would be stupid for the reasons I mentioned above. I've been approached by CGs who offered to go back to my room for $$$ and I had to turn them down because that could be viewed as solicitation, but even then I doubt casino security would care. They have other things to worry about.

They are probably glad that you are staying at their casino and not going downtown to look. They figure that you will take care of business and get right back to spending money in the casino and probably will book with them again because of the encounter. I know I have.
On the shows about casino cameras they did show security videos of men being detained by hotel security for soliciting known CG's that's been banned by the casinos.
I'm not saying it's never happened, just that A) it doesn't happen very often (even DES1982 reported earlier that CGs in Venetian are usually just ignored) and B) if you don't explicitly offer money for sex then casinos have no right to detain you. I don't know about Nevada law, but most states require private security to have proof that you actually committed a crime, not just proof of intent, before they're allowed to detain you. Otherwise they can be sued for false arrest, which is an extremely expensive process.
On the shows about casino cameras they did show security videos of men being detained by hotel security for soliciting known CG's that's been banned by the casinos.
A lot of those shows are propoganda. Most likely if a casino detains someone for soliciting banned CG's, its because they want them for something else.
