Get a beater car or owe more than it's worth
This kind of situation is typically what happens in a sting. I'll explain. As the backstory, through a moment of admitted stupidity, my phone was stolen from me a while ago. I recovered it within 24 hours and had already replaced it within 12 hours, and switched my number to the new phone.
The girl who stole my phone used my number to set up an ad on STG. Which is why I provided the backstory. Anyway, I start getting these texts, guys out of the blue asking how much (I) charge for this and that. A guy sent me a pic of his cock. For Pete's sake.
Now how hard do you think it is for a pig to set up an ad and get responses like that, set up a room and hem up some guy for implying prostitution? Apparently its an easy way to acquire some vehicles that they can use for undercover work or sell at auction, which is what they do with cars taken as "criminal tools. ".
So, read the legal section. Know the rules of mongering, and never text anything that you are going to regret. Or talk it on the phone either.
Cheech.
I heard of using cell phones as criminal tools, but now your car. It's still only a misdemeanor crime, not sure they could keep your for just a misdemeanor. Is there a way to find out if they got their cars back? If there's no equity in the car, they probably won't keep it. For the prosecutor it's all about making money.
To be fair, they are making some positive changes
The corrupt Blue Line Gang of thieves, and extortionists certainly earn every ounce of hatred thrown their way. But honestly, if I were a shithead police Sargent, trying to be taken seriously in my career, and my name was Brian Griffin? I'd be a miserable dick also.
As you all know I research the docket sheets. I have noticed some positives. Theyve stopped charging some of the ladies who arent causing any harm with crim tools, and are only charging with soliciting. Any positive movement towards solidarity is a welcome change in my book. Few months back I had a wonderful conversation with a wonderful lady and the topic came up about how she couldn't get a job because of her record, even at mickey Ds. So its like, what do the courts want them to do, sit in jail, and starve when they are out? That seems to be implied. A lot of addicts and people in general with records have an excellent skill set, the system should be revamped to encourage improvement in peoples lives. How to do that? Be less punitive, stop kicking poor people when they are down, and use the money used on prosecution to create jobs so that these individuals can go to work and be a productive citizen. Its common sense. Far as this sting goes it was an easily avoided sting. If these guys are being dumb and sending dick pics and bringing meth, they deserve what they get. I'm sure none of those guys took a classy and respectful approach like many of us do on here.
