5. To advise you if we should move the Forum to another web address.
6. To confirm your password modifications.
7. To receive notifications that you have received a new Private Message. (optional)
8. To receive notices of new reports in any sections that you may have elected to subscribe to. (optional)

Email Activation is the process wherein the Forum software requires you to activate your membership by responding to an email.

You won't receive the Activation Email, so your membership won't be activated, and thus you will not be able to post reports, view the photos, or use the private message system..

No, you do not need to use the regular email address that you normally use for your day-to-day email. However, there's NO REASON that you can't use this email address because the WSG Forum NEVER sends out spam, and we NEVER sell or give your email address out to ANYONE. Still it's your choice.

If you prefer, you can use an email address from any one of a number of free email services such as Yahoo or Hotmail.
