So following the advice that Ginny gave Forest, I ran out of there. No need to waste my time talking about the Sputnik program or perogies.When I lived overseas I occasionally stayed in a hostel that was run by an older but very well established madaam. She taught me a lot, well, about everything.

Over the past few months, I've received identical wording from ads in NoVA and Richmond. Different scenarios and different descriptions of the girls, but the last part was identical.

All included some TGTBT cell snapshots and all from Yahoo accounts with various IP's in the Metro DC area.
I communicated with a couple of them, but they all wanted to meet the loan deadline first and work out the rest later. When I mentioned they sounded like scammers I never heard back from them. I never could get one of them to tell me how they wanted to receive the "loan" or get one of them to meet me.
I got a good laugh out of the celibacy part, but one made the comment she was a "very conservative Catholic girl." Yeah, okay. Some I asked to do a nude massage, strip show or even pose for photos to earn the money. Would you believe they weren't interested in that?

In my opinion, the forum has been extremely useful. Problem arises when people try to use it as a trading forum and expect that there are gentlemen around here. As a matter of fact, if you and other people around here were so gentlemanly, you should not be here in first place.
And then there are people with whom you share some info and they are not worth to be shared, but then what do you expect from an online forum?
As a matter of fact, the forum does serve its purpose; how many times have you learned about a possible set up and bad experience, and how many times have you been enlightened about what to do and what not to do. Look at cookyjar in philly and other good dudes over there (even deceased SE.). There are some good posters here in Baltimore SW thread. May be the forum did not serve someone's expectations as much as he thought but then what is the ideal situation and can you ever attain it? I doubt there is any other forum that is as much useful.
Here is my unsolicited advice: Use the forum with a grain of salt and do not expect too much and be thankful what Jackson has in here.
Ok, what a great idea. I'm not new to this aspect of our hobby, and have had a couple of decent medium term relationships develop in the past. Last was about 3 years ago though.
I launched my line into the CL / CE pond this morning and will share any reponses I get. I'm in NoVa and would welcome any advice or info anyones willing to share.

IMHO the Non Pro Forum, is completely different from the Streetwalker thread, Backpage, or Massage Parlor threads. I don't know about you, but I do consider myself to be a gentleman. The main reason I began the hobby was that I work a lot of hours and found that the best way to share the companionship of women was to see escorts and go to the massage parlors. I don't see streetwalker's, nothing wrong with it, just my personal preference. So a few months ago when I discovered this thread, along with the Baldycruiser thread in LA, it was an eye opening experience for me. Use CL and BP to post ads and see what little fishies swim into my net. What a genius idea. It has worked very successfully for me, but only because I perform the due diligence in posting, re-posting and staying on top of my e-mail. I have found members on here that are willing to trade and share, members that scam to get intel (by giving out fake numbers and e-mails, you know who you are) , and others that just want to panhandle intel. I agree 100% that this is a great place to share information about the poor provider's and just out-right rip-off artists, like the girl in Timonium. But my two cents are, that to find a lot of women on the personals, requires a lot of time and effort. To just expect to give the information up without something in return is simply panhandling. If you want to do the W / W, B / CB loops for SW's, all you have to do is hop in your whip and take a spin down there. Escorts are on BP and their phone numbers are right out there, but the non-pro's who reply to your ads are different. Who knows why Saint2 is quitting. Maybe he got burned by another member, but I can tell you all this, he is a valuable source of intel for me, and I have also provided him with valuable intel. His loss by the board will be everybody's loss. MW.

Wow! Almost too hard to believe. At one point I thought that we might give Baldy and the boys in LA a run for their money, but now I really think that this thread is unfortunately starting to fizzle. Everyday, I see more and more ads on CL and BP, but no more reports. I have trusted members that I share intel with and vice-versa. We aren't having the problems that many have complained about. Too much fishing, and not enough fish. Or better yet, trying real hard, but can't get any bites. I've heard that DC is talentless for non-pro's, but after getting replies from Nova, Silver Spring, Gaithersburg, and Adelphi. I'm inclined to disagree. I've been contacted by PM, begging for vetted intel. In some cases, I've known how bad the the situation the lady was in, and given out intel with the hopes of maybe getting something in return, but mostly nothing. Or in some cases, I've received intel from chat lines, girls with BP ads, or streetwalker's numbers. I hope that you know what we have here. If not, go to the LA forum and read the Baldy Cruiser and Bladerunner thread. There are some hot women out there that are DTF, so come on guys, if you don't share what you have then it will never work. If you just can't figure out how to make this work and want to know how PM me.

A lot of people are not familiar with using reverse image searches like Tineye or even Google Image Search. It's even easier if you use Google Chrome or Firefox with the extensions installed. You can just right-click on the image to do the search. If you know how to read all of the "meta data" associated with an image you can find other clues.
It's not all about just researching the image. A lot of these newbies and amateurs and some pro's are not familiar with aggregation sites like.

Think of this like tracking a package on UPS's detail site report. If the package was picked up from their home, it should be accurate as to the sender's location, but if they dropped it off at the UPS site, that's all you'll get. Land based IP providers like Comcast and Verizon Fios are pretty accurate as to the sender's location. MyVerizon (cell) , Blackberry and other Smartphone locations are sometimes only accurate to within a few hundred miles, but certainly should be in the US. An address outside of the US is almost certainly spam. I don't even bother looking up the IP or most of the spam responses. Often, the nature of the response (is it a generic response that doesn't even come close to what you were asking for, could have easily been used to reply to any other casual encounter ad, or does it directly acknowledge something in your ad (other than changing the subject line. Many spammers figured that out, but don't take the time to customize the text of the response).
The key is to find out how your email server allows you to see the full header, and to work your way up from the bottom. The last "received from: # in the list should be the sender's IP address, but not always. I've seen some that manage to hide the location and someday I'll take time to figure out the common thread.
Also, in the full header, you should see the name they used to set up the e-mail account. And sometimes they forgot it was their real name, thinking only the e-mail address will be shown, not their name. Of course if the name is "nonof yourbiz" that won't help much. And it's also possible they put in a fake name that looks like it could be real. Google their name and e-mail addresses and don't forget that people often use the same e-mail name on multiple e-mail programs. If you can find at least 3 real solid pieces of information thru various sources that collaborate the info they provided via e-mail, it's likely that you've found the right person.

Online posts refer to that event as ghosting. The system says that your ad is posted and when you click on it from your account, it even shows your post, but if you actually try to find it in the general listings, it is not there. That happens to me. I think that it actually is due to overposting (including editing your ad) or if you get flagged. Best results are obtained from not editing ad and after two days, renew the ad (and edit it that time) , rather than delete and re-post. Either way it is bs in my opinion.

ThanksI had the same problem for a while. Even after doing all the phone verification, etc.
I ended up deleting all my old ads and using another computer to post the new ads. That worked the first time and it didn't seem to care if I edited the ad right away. You might also delete all old ads, clear all of your cookies, and history from your browser. Perhaps that could help. It is strange that it happens this way to so many people. There is a separate message if you've overposted and it tells you that, clearly. I think this is some type of glitch with the CL software.

But as a few people noted in prior posts, sharing information on good leads too publicly and too early can end up screwing things up for yourself. Also, we need to be careful to not pass around contact information for a non-pro without their permission. That's a good way to upset them enough to stop seeing everyone, including you.
If you want to find the real non-pro's who are into this at least partly for the sex and not just the donation, you need to post your own ads which appeal to the right women. I don't know about burner phones, but they do require an account to be in "good standing" for 90 days as requirement to link or unlink a number to an account.
I had an issue a few years back trying to phone verify two CL accounts with a VoIP service like Google Voice, but I found out you can have an account manually verified. The girl I spoke with a CL was very friendly about the whole deal and the only requirement she had was I had to call back to a number she provided so she could see the number on a Caller I'd.
I don't how valid this info is now, but it worked awhile back and worth a try.

If you throw out the stupid "generic" replies like which city is the largest, do you like arugula in your salad, etc, then throw out all the replies that have a different reply to address, check the IP and throw out all those who are not even in the country, and then look closer at the IP address for the remaining US based ones (with almost no exceptions, the corporate addresses from known spam organizations or with locations way outside of this area and not a cell provider, hotel chain, etc) , you probably only have 4 or 5 left to even bother thinking about replying to. But then there are other days when you get like 3 or 4 real hotties in a row and wonder how the hell you're going to find time to do them all. I know this is my first post but I am not new- I retired for a while and that was before my divorce. I had been active before, then deleted that old account. Trust me when I say I am not new, and am back in the saddle so to speak.

BenchI've talked to her a couple times, under different emails. She is in a sketchy area. I actually went to meet her once but got sketched out by a dude walking up and down the street with two large pits. Granted its not unheard of for the area. Ended up leaving and talked to her again and asked her to send a different photo. This is what she sent me, kinda glad I didn't meet her up after all.
