Don't take it personal because these are not pros, hence non-pro, which means they, at least in theory, haven't done this before. This means that they are probably unsure of how they're going to feel about it before during and afterwards.
Almost every girl that has answered my ad has asked for a picture. None have never written back afterwards but some eventually back out because they just can't go through with it. Sometimes they just realize it when the see the face that's going to be hovering above them.
I answered this girls CL ad, title "play", and she emailed back these pictures and we are trying to set up a meet. Was wondering if anyone else replied to her ad and got a reply from her or has seen her before? She looks fun. Did the usual searches on her email and phone # and came up with no red flags.

With every referral, the source is putting himself at risk in a sense, because of the danger that the recipient will behave in a way that negatively impacts the relationship between the non-pro (or pro for that matter) and the source.
There's been no one more generous and reliable than BC with his reports, photos, and referrals. I've only been able to connect with one of his referrals and the experience was great, and I hope that I didn't dilute the strength of BC's relationship with the provider.
Whenever we ask for a referral, we make a contract with the source, whether BC or anyone else. And that contract is that we won't do anything to undermine the existing relationship for the source, and if anything we'll do everything we can to support and reinforce that relationship. BC, and others, obviously work very hard to cultivate these contacts, and the recipient does a great disservice when he breaks the contract, not to mention the disrespect for both the provider (whether or not pro) and the source.
Experienced people in this hobby should know a lot about managing risk in many different contexts. For those who don't, they impact everyone else.
Those who request and respond to requests for referrals must keep this basic principle in mind, or the whole idea of referrals, which benefit both hobbiests and providers, will be greatly corrupted.
