Okay. Hope Jackson will let this one go. From the sound of the General thread, there may be alot of you guys out there still mongering at 35+ whyear old who want to talk about mongering at an older age. But maybe 40+ or 50+ or even 60+ guys might find this thread fun to share and seek advice. Based on Sancho's scale, maybe add D-45+ and E-60+. I'll start it off with a repeat of my observations at Nirvana. At 60+ I still love sex and sexy girls, but I prefer the more laid back approach where the word "service" really means the girl does most of the work. In the past 2 months I've had Hana, Tiny, Annie, Sunny, and Seven. They do a great job staying active on top of me massaging, stroking, sucking, fucking. Usually if I want to DATY, they get into 69 position. Only Seven lays back for her own enjoyment. But I think they all do great ACG, CG, and BJ. All with me just lying on my back. Anyone else got an AMP like that?

Anyone else got an AMP like that?I been reading all the talk about how korean bars are a waste of money if you looking for action. But I been getting some interesting action in the last year at kbars around town. Maybe because I'm an oldie (put me in the E class, pretty soon collect social security) the girls are more willing to put out: older guys get more money to spend, older guys not too demanding, older guys not going be too hard on their bodies, or mouths LOL. Anyway, I been going to korean bars with the express purpose of seeing if I can get BBBJ, and how long going take, and how much going cost, etc. And actually, I've gotten some that I can share. I'm pretty sure, age, my age, has something to do with my success. The cheapest one so far was at Kools. I was sitting at the bar in the early evening. Mimi approaches me. Man her face is not very attractive L 5 at best. But very short with pretty tight bod for someone who looks way over 40. Bought her a drink and she started rubbing my leg. I told her I'm an old man and don't have sex too much because my snake is always sleeping. She said I wake you. We moved to a table. She drank beer out of the bottle. When I bought her a second beer, she put her hand up my shorts leg and did some vigorous stroking. Our whole conversation was about sex, specifically how she was going to make me cum. I told her let's fuck in the room but she said too expensive, I'll give you a blow job right here in the booth if you buy me another drink. So for 3 drinks I got a bbbjtcim. When I left she said sleep good tonight grandpa! LOL. So you o farts looking for a no strings attached quickie for cheap, try Kools.

Yup social security this year for me (early). All I can add is thank goodness for little girls . I think we have it pretty good here in Hawaii (if you only include the USA). Good rates, hot girls, AMPs, etc. The trick is to control how much is spent for what you get and I will admit at times I don't control it very well. Kools. Been there with pretty much the same results. Ichiban, GQ, Pink, Nirvanna, Top Floor, etc. Been there and it's all good. Only have had one bad one (Miso). Pearl City, Pearl Ridge, Kapiolani, its all good. Yeah the pricing for drinkees has gotten to be outrageous. Wish the 1st time a girl asked for a $20 drink and got it that 1st guy had just said no. Ah the good old days of $5 drinks. Shoots it was cheaper than buying a girl a drink in Waikiki (if you include your parking fee) plus they came to you and not the other way around. Oh well. We all have our reasons for hitting on the children of the night and again I say Thank Goodness for Little Girls! I, for one, merely want to contribute to their college fund.

I'm a D guy who can pass for C. Blue pill = no need. Wild young ones = bring 'them!

Got put in my place about a year ago though. While walking back to a room at RM told MS "bring me a young one mamma." She didn't say anything so I didn't think she heard me. So when we get to the room, I repeat "bring me a young one mamma." She looked at me irritated and snapped "Well, she'll be A LOT younger than YOU!" Her eyes were looking me up and down as she said it. I cracked up and we both had a good laugh after that. She sent in a 20-something named Leda and, at least for the next hour, I forgot all about how old I was.

Mid-40s myself. Before my accident in late-'09 I still liked death match sex! Afterwards, I physically couldn't handle it. Now that I'm almost fully recovered, I'm leaning towards heavily active sex again. Hmmmm, I wonder if it'll ever cease with me?

Now that I'm almost fully recovered, I'm leaning towards heavily active sex again. Hmmmm, I wonder if it'll ever cease with me?Glad you auryte man, been through that and back 2times. Once back in the late 90s, after my divorce, was coming back from a party with a girl I was seeing, before I knew it, a group of racers were passing me by Kunia, one clipped me and flipped my 4runner. The girl I was with had only minor scratches, but they had to rush me to emergency and I was all screwed up for weeks. Took me close to a year before I could bang again in a death match. Then in 03, had a bad stroke that should have took my life, as my cardio dr. Said (good friend). Luckily my oldest daughter nursed me back, change life, eat healthy (natural & organic) and all was good. I did not trust going fo broke on the nani until well over 18months until I did not think I was going croak. And after that, went crzy, AMP'and, Indie, and tapin the 20s.

Mahalos to Angela, Sunny, Blue, Chanel, Coco, Jada (God Rest her Soul) , Lisa Kut, Lei, Grace, Reina, Jun, Cherry, Lia, Patty, Bailey, and other sweets for now, Sr. Moment, lost my train of thought. Haha.

Hmmm, I guess I would be in the D- class. I think this thread going to be pretty cool.

Enjoy.

...before I knew it, a group of racers were passing me by Kunia, one clipped me and flipped my 4runner.I rarely "genuinely" wish for harm to come to people, but I really do wish these freeway and neighborhood street racers would have a life-altering crash (affecting only them, not other motorists) to teach not only them, but all other ones lessons.

Just wanted to say that I'm surprised that so many of you are in the D and E classes. I really thought all of you were much younger.

I've enjoyed your reports; you guys really know how to monger and have fun and the manner in which you express yourselves was so suggestive of much younger men. It's guys like you who make KBGs' lives fun.

M9 and Hypo, I PM'd you.

Peace,

Since we have a new matrix with D, E and F classes, I will update my status to D.With special thanks to Sancho for starting this, and because I'm anal (not as in I like anal sex) , here's what I think the classes that we've agreed on:

A=18-25.

B=25-35.

C=35-45.

D=45-55.

E=55-65.

F=65+

I realize that some of you don't really care, but as I get older, the more proud I get with my sexual feats. Or is that feets?

I want to ask you guys (D, E, F class) , for FS, is the standard fee always been 1. 50 back in the old days (such as the 90s. 80s, or even earlier)? Did inflation drive up the cost? Thanks!

I hit 50 and find I am more aware of my age suddenly than I ever have been. Not in a bad way. But I never gave a crap before. Now sometimes I think."WTF am I doing'?" Then I think I don't give a crap what others think and just enjoy myself.

I'm surprised that there are older guys on here as well, more than I expected. I'm always willing to offer some help or advice, to those who seek it. Otherwise, I like to encourage the "fun" aspect of this hobby and help others avoid the mistakes and bad experiences.

I want to ask you guys (D, E, F class) , for FS, is the standard fee always been 1. 50 back in the old days (such as the 90s. 80s, or even earlier)? Did inflation drive up the cost? Thanks! Depends. Went hunting aft. Finished bartending & closing up the bar in Waiks (83) , hookd up with a cute thinner snooky looker blond on Seaside "Lisa", BUT weren't they all called Lisa. 5-2, 135, JLo butt, and Dz Xs just poppin out of her tube top (remember those?)

$2, CBJ, FS, went Russian. NO DATY or DFK, neva like anyway, just wantd to pound some poi aft. Work. One pop, and took her back to her corner. Seen her a few times aft. That and then one time she when ask fo $3, and WHOA! Ask'd why, she said, you get anything you want, sooo full menu, back at the OC condo on Alawai, she when take shower with me, BBBJ & K9 popp'd on her puppies. We both cleaned up, went to the masterbdrm, talked story forever. She told me about her life, showed me pics of her kids in Seattle, her mom, then she turned on the TV, and we just lie there watchin, and rubbin on each other, went for rd2, BBBJ. 69, mish, K9, lyin K9, TBone, and greek in side mish & finally back to K9, where just about to pop, and she spun around, whipp'd off the coat, and sucked me dry. I figure by the time I left the condo, it was 4hourslater. HOW? I finishd at the bar at 230ish, and hookd up with Lisa around 3. Left her place after 7am, lucky I was parked on the side st. Or I would get towed. Yupps, some of the ladies were demanding that much back then. But I hookd up with some for $1 FS, coverd. Cheapest was $.4, down by Food Pantry. Those were the days. '83

Just seen this new thread and new age classes. I'm early E, but can pass for younger (asian advantage) and glad we got this thread now. When I was younger, my taste in women (for sex) was to include older women but once you get past 40 I stopped including women same or older and the younger the better for me, LOL. How about for you other guys? Same? Difderent? I hunted civiians in younger days (still do) and can't comnent on the prices for AMP here except kb prices which was alot less for more play which is a given. Anyhow, as I always say, age is just a number.

I Cannot profess to know about AMP's back in the day as I only just recently started to partake in them, however as for Wailkiki SW's back in the 80's the standard was $. For half and half. DT SW's were. 30 for BJ both CBJ or BBBJ. .40..80 for Half and Half or as it's called now FS both covered and BB. Hope this answers a part of your question.

As always be safe and happy mongering Oh

I remember the 10 to 20 rate seemed to go up overnight. Had just got off a plane from Thailand back in 87 (as I recall). Wanted to go see some more Thai so I went into Johnny's on Kona St. So the girl wanted 20 (same girl the prior month was 10). I didn't partake as, like I said, I'd just come back from Thailand. Just laughed at her cost and exclaimed "Holy Shit that's 4 blowjobs in Bangkok!).

I'm still in D but wish when I was in the C or B that I had the finances I have now. That last real estate cycle really benefitted me. I have a theory that the D's and older are the majority of AMP (and KB) patrons because income and assets are much more than the younger ones.

I'm a E guy and still horny as ever. I can remember in the late 60's to late 70's going to places like York Massage (York Bldg on Punchbowl St) , Empress Sauna (Bethel St above Aloha Grill) , Tropical Sauna (above Exotic Nights) and one on Beretania across the Chinese Cultural Plaza. FS ran between. 25 to. 30. Good times with all types of women. Back then, you didn't have to worry about HIV and other incurable diseases. BB was the standard. SWs in Waikiki were. 40 to. 60 depending on looks and service provided.

I remember buying nekohanas for one dollar. Whoa, can't see paying. 2 to. 4 today. Being retired provides a lot of time to monger, but not as much funds. The good thing is everyday is Sunday.

Stay safe and most of all, have fun.

I'm a D and reg drinking partner was 5 years into being a E. He taught me that if you speak softly and don't be so obvious and pushy, the kbg's will make your stick stiff. How many times I sat across from him watching him buy drinks slowly and systematically for the girl, and speak soft and slow to her. Invariably, she'd start leaning in closer, pressing her boobs into his arm, then rubbing his thigh, then stroking his crotch. Man, ole guy had game. Too bad he had heart trouble. But I know his last night was real happy.

If there is one thing I have learned from women is what a girl told me once long ago.

Women want men to "listen" and validate their feelings.

They do NOT want us to fix things (their problems).

They do NOT want us to tell them what to do.

They do NOT want us to start an argument with them about how or why they got themselves into some predicament.

Sit there, listen, acknowledge, validate their hurt or pain, and at the right moment, offer comfort and understanding.

Do this once or twice and they will think you are a great guy.

Do it 3 or 4 times to the same girl and she will think you are awesome.

Anymore than that, she will be putty in your hands.

I've tried this. It works. Amazingly, I learned this from a girl by "listening" to her explain this to me in depth in one night.

Can always tell when they starting to get into you. Body language, light touches on the arm, they almost always will go limp in your arms when you hugging. YMMV, mayb its just me.

Be cool, listen, show some caring, and patience will be your prize. Almost always worked for me.

I kinda recall those days when I used to patronize places like Counts on Pauahi and Nuuanu, BPM on Kaheka mauka of Pagoda, the place on the 2nd floor on Kalaukaua next door to a legit massage parlor that had a name of a carpet contracting co. You had to get logged with a passcode at the legit place next door to get in. There were a lot of call girl businesses available all over town. Girls like Jenny, Jodi, Laura, Nani, Shirley, and Vivian. The going rate was $25. I think the rates went up was the Japanese men tourist who were paying big bucks to screw a blonde or white sashimi, or a black women. The prices never came down since. Those were the days.

D Class here, I read this same advice in Men Are From Mars Women Are From Venus 10+ years ago. First time I tried it-listening, acknowledging etc biting my tongue trying not to give advice, it worked so damn good I couldn't believe it.

With special thanks to Sancho for starting this, and because I'm anal (not as in I like anal sex) , here's what I think the classes that we've agreed on:

A=18-25.

B=25-35.

C=35-45.

D=45-55.

E=55-65.

F=65+

I realize that some of you don't really care, but as I get older, the more proud I get with my sexual feats. Or is that feets? I am "Senior" C but creeping up to a "Junior" D relatively soon.

Good thread. Look forward to the insights and recommendations from the seasoned, senior mongers.

Peace,

H MThat is exactly why I made the list so short. The new list has me in "D"

Now I see why Dirty Old Bastards and V class were wanted.

So basically treat them as if they're not as stupid as they actually are. Maybe this is why I haven't been getting as much play as I have been spending.Women in the bar and women in general, don't want to always give it up simply because you spent this much money on them or you bought soo many drinks. That's why alot of guys scratching their heads wondering why he got no play when he spent more $ than the other guy. They feel like: "If I'm going to spend $$$ on her, I better get play from her" They expect play based on the money they spending. Heh, like it's automatic. Women are good at sensing a guys motive. They can tell when a guy want her for sex only. The problem with most guys is that they are soo predictable and easy to read. Inside of you, you want to get laid with her. The thing is, to not make it seem obvious to her that your primary goal is to get in her panty. Even though deep down, you want to. Bottom line, don't be predictable like the rest. Predictable = boring.

You know when you talk story with a chick, any chick, it could be a BG or someone outside the bar. Most woman will not want to hear from you that you want to sex her right off the bat. What do you think her response would be: "Sure, let me give you a BBBJ right now to start things off" We all wish it was that easy. If it was, we all would be walking up to any random girl and telling her that. But, when you talk to a woman and listen to her, it shows that you're interested on what she has to say. Not just thinking of getting her in bed. I bet get women out there, especially the attractive ones, are relieved that they can talk to a guy normally and not have this sense and feeling that he has an agenda. Or, he's just drooling and gawking over her the whole time. Bottom line, talk to her and listen. Don't just look at her as a sex object. How do you feel if you talk to her and she obviously displays that she doesn't give a damn and just waiting for her next drink? She just looks at you as an ATM machine. There are BGs who don't give a damn. But hey, don't let a BG working in a bar, get the best out of you.

The topic of sex with BGs, we bring it up with them but, it's in a playful nonchalant innocent manner. Like talking about her breasts but, not implying to her that I want to touch it or suck it. It's just a carefree type conversation displaying no motive or agenda behind it. But, I know get guys out there who fear bringing up the topic of sex as they feel it will make them look bad in front of her. Big mistake right here. Trying to impress too much that she picks up on it. Women are comfortable when they feel you don't pose a threat to them. She can tell you where she live and other personal info but, she's not worried that you'll use that against her. Bottom line, make her feel comfortable with you.

This is coming from a hooker that told me this: "I know people see us as prostitutes and see us as gold diggers just wanting money. But, at least show a little respect. We're human to" Heh, this is no different from us guys not wanting women to judge all men as only perverts and wanting only sex. I bet you guys came across a chick who judged you right away as someone who just sees women as sex objects. Like, she sees you as just like the rest of them. No different. Or, you could be someone muscular and buffed and she thinks you're egotistical, dumb and uneducated based on that. But, low and behold, you prove her wrong. Don't you love doing this? Man o man it feels good to prove them wrong. Then, you jokingly get wise and put her on the spot: "you thought I was like that huh?" Then she says: "yeah. I thought you were but you're not" Bottom line, respect the woman. Regardless what they do in life. Hey, just because she a BG, AMP girl doesn't mean she doesn't deserve any respect. She doesn't need to be some important figure in life to be respected. Don't respect people based on their accolades or accomplishments. In fact, some people who have accolades and accomplishments look down on other people.

What I just mentioned, is not what I think I know, its coming from females themselves who came out and openly talk about men in general. Even guys who I know, had women who tell them the same thing. By the way, one of the girls (not a BG) who was really interested in me, I asked her: "why you like me for?" Basically, what I just wrote above explains why. I'm sure some of you members and women who read this can relate.

I like posting shit like this. Hehe. I prefer this type of posting than the typical posting of a provider you see at an AMP or MT. I let the other newbies post that.

Nice post Uki Eater. I wish more guys would do what you posted but unfortunately I see too much otherwise, hope your message reaches more mongers.I agree, when I go to any AMP I try to show respect for the girl / woman and want to get to know her and let her know that she is not viewed as a peice of meat by me. This surprises many of them but you show respect, you get respect and good service. Long time ago went to an AMP where the girl was from NY. Found out she was there because she had to declare bankruptcy and had to figure out a way to make money fast. Couldn't do it in NY because her friends and family might find out. Learned all this during the TS and massage, service was great!

Show resepct guys!

Funny you should mentioned this book. I gave copies to my good buddies when it first came out. It was like the scales fell off their eyes! Back when we were young and good-looking it was easy to reel them in, it was maintaining that became problematic. Should be required reading.

Sorry, but if I got to do what you posted in a KB / VB, I might as well just go to a regular niteclub; same tactics but a lot cheaper.Yah, I figured someone would say this. You don't go to a hostess bar looking to hear sob stories from a BG. You go to a KB / VB looking for play and action. But, not all the time you will get play. Why waste time trying to find out if she plays or not when can go Amp. That's why some guys say they like the chase and the challenge. The guys who don't want to deal with all the talk / listening dramas, just go to an AMP or get HE from an MT. But, where's the challenge? You can't always expect to just splurge on a chick at a bar and she will guarantee play. Some will though. The others, you got to work them to get play. I think that's what some guys like. It's that challenge to see if he can get her while another guy failed. If it was just the money factor, all the guy has to do is just splurge more.

But, if a BG sounds like too much drama, next! Hehe.

Kalani69 much mahalo for starting this thread.

I thoroughly enjoy reading this and everyone's comments.

I'm a E class, been mongering for many years. AMP, KB's and VB's.

@Chiko848 and Foojdaman, my friends and I used to go to a place called Furuya's downtown in the 70's. I remember a girl named Ginger that was hot. We would fight to see her first. The loser would have to pick someone else or wait until the first guy was pau. Can't even remember how much it was back then.

@Kal Hoku, I like Mimi too. I tried to get FS from her, she told me that she doesn't do that.

@Ukueater, I really enjoyed your post earlier today. It clarified and reinforced my thinking of why I like the KB and VB scene as opposed to going straight for the AMP. The challenge or chase is what I enjoy the most, well a HE is the most enjoyable but like everything else in life, the fun is in the journey getting there.

Here's to all the older and experienced mongers out there.

Hope it's OK. I'm going to revise the list a tad. Basically everyone who's age landed on a *5 was in two classes. So, I'll revise as follows:

B=25-34.

C=35-44.

D=45-54.

E=55-64.

F=65+

First, this post is very much in the wrong thread. Second, you have a pretty obvious Korean accent in your typing style. Third, all five of your posts share the traits of being a) vague, be) promotional, and see) inconsistent.

I'm not trying to pick a fight, but I have a feeling you're either a working girl, or a dude that's sucking up to some working girls. Either way, I don't think it's in the forum's best interest.

Man this is a popular thread. Only 1 week and get uku plenty reports. Someone talked about prices in old days. Funny, I'm so old I really having hard time remembering. I remember when nekohana was $10 at Kapiolani bars. But I always went with bunch of friends so no one really spent too much-we shared the costs. Lots of guys taking turns buying for just a few girls. That was in the 70s or early 80s I think. In college in the 60s don't remember paying for nekohana. Our favorite place was Arirang about 2 or 3 blocks from current Don Quiote Ala Moana. I think had a separate room with strippers. One haole stripper I remember blew us all away because she had the flexibility to do gymnastic poses in the nude; on her back, legs up in the air until feet touching the ground above her head. You get the picture. Pussy facing the audience. That was "heady" stuff back then especially for poor college guys who no can afford date hot chicks. Spending 20 bucks was a fortune for us.

Remember downtown and Hotel Street.

Club Hubba Hubba before tipping ever happened. Went in with fake I'd.

Had a place just above full service for $35 plus tip.

Working girls walking all over Chinatown, not like it is now.

Nekos used to be $5. 00 in early '70s

Any of you E or some of you D+ guys remember the discos / nightclubs and $10 pay partys at magic mushroom / various waikiki hotels / UH hemmingway hall in the 70s? When I was young, places like Tiki, Duke's, Hula Hut, Hawn Hut, point after etc was EVERYONE'S hunting grounds for young people. I remember my friend made fake stamps for the pay partys even though it was only $10 (all you can drink) and $2 girls. Most guys honed their mongering skills at these places and Friday and Saturday nights was a feast with all the hot chicks from whole island ready for the same thing as they (chicks) hunted us guys too. Those were the days of true freebies. I'm curious were you A and B guys go to pick up chicks now?

Younger guys may call them OG but, here's some of the things that the younger guys can learn from the older guys.

1. Experience. Older guys been around the block and have stories to tell. I mean back then, the stripbars, hostess bars and AMPs was more exciting because it wasnt as strict as it is now. You can learn a lot from an older guy who experienced alot and been through a lot. They have seen alot of changes in their lifetime. You think you have a fun and exciting life? You got to hear what an older guy been through and did when he was younger. Heh, that's why you hear them saying: "Those were the good old days"

2. Generosity. Older guys are generous man. Not to say that younger guys are not generous. It's just that typically older guys will have more money. They take care. When I hang with them, they treat me. You could be at a bar with them and they'll cover the rounds. They'll even cover the BGs drink when she sits with you. Heh, the older guys want the younger guys to experience what they gone through. But, get those OG cheap charlies out there also.

3. Patience. Older guys are more calm and laid back. Young guys are this: "Fuck, hurry up!" I guess as you get older, you tone down, mellow out and relax. Younger guys can be hyper and impatient. They not that smooth with the women. Some young guys are, but they can be cocky and boastful (pat yourself on the back). Young guys can be shy and not that vocal. They haven't interacted with people as much as an older guy. Unless that is, the older guy had been sheltered most of his life.

4. Wisdom. Because older guys have more experience, their knowledge and insight on things is broad. They can give you advice on the bars, AMPs and the mongering experience they have encountered in other countries. Not only that, you'll learn a thing or two about other matters in life. Heh, at a younger age, most guys wouldn't even be thinking of mongering in another country. Hehe, older guys going to school you on how to handle yourself when you in a hostess bar. Heh,"Patience my horny grasshopper"

5. Matureness. As you get older, you become more mature. Well. Hopefully you do hehe. Most cases, older guys are more mature. That's why younger women like older men. Women mature faster than men. Heh, that's why you hear women saying: "you are so inmature!" Younger guys can talk a lot of nonsense subjects and topics. They discuss alot of superficial things. Most of the younger guys are into making their car look good, getting buff to attract the chicks etc. They in that image phase. Also, they are generally concerned about what the public thinks of them. Heh, I call this as basically being shame because they feel embarrassed. When you get older, you get over that and focus on other things and priorities. You're not overly concerned about what people think about you.

I envy older guys. I not saying I envy getting old. But, what I am saying is that I envy the fact that an older guy has lived that long, experienced alot, been through a lot, had his ups and downs and he still alive to this day to experience more. If his life were to get cut short, it wouldn't be as bad since he lived life to its fullest or fuller than most people who are younger. Younger guys on the other hand, they haven't lived life long enough to really experience what life has to offer.

I can attest to what Uki has written here, not because I'm an E but because when I was a C and D, even then my G class drinking buddy taught me basically everything I do now in the bars to get action. I got a late start with wife and family but will say that this forum has been lots of fun. Never would've guessed had so many ole farts my age still getting BBBJ in kb booths LOL. Keep it rolling.

The first time I really experienced real bar hopping was when my friend brought along his boss from work, I'd say he was in the the range. He showed us that we are not obligated to buy a girl drink, and it was okay to tell the girl to beat it with "no hard feelings." Before that, we would have a hard time saying no or be shame to ask for another girl. Whoever came up to us first we bought them drinks, ugly or not. I'm glad I found this board as it reenforces what he taught us. Not only that, reading how my experiences are so similar if not the same as some of you goes to show how "not special or unique" I am to that particular bg and I should just go for the fun of the moment and not take "bg relationships" seriously.

I enjoy, respect, and listen to whats said by the the, e, and even see's. Since I just started this bar scene only two years ago and I'm only a mid be, hopefully me and other be's / a's experiences are more postive because of the experiences shared on this board by the "og's"

I guess for older guys like me, kinda miss places like Benizuru, Tokiwa, Denver Grill, Arirang, Yuraku cho. The pupus were the bomb, like steak, lobster, Kona crab, clams etc. I got the gout from eating too much of this stuff. Most of the girls were Japanese with some locals and K girls. Champagne was $25 and was the French stuff, not he NY or Cali stuff. I could afford to drink Johnny Walker Black. $100 would go along ways. It used to be $20. $50budget for the drinks and $20 for the girls and tip. Of course there was no grab assing in those days. You tried to take the girl home or go to her place after the bars closed. Had a few afterhours fun. But I made sure my big brain was engaged and not my small brain. Used to go home smelling like an ashtray with some perfume mixed in. After the Kbars got into the mix it became the dog and pony show. Grabbing ass and tits was the norm. It was all sex and only sex. The budget went to hell. Club Tomo on Kapiolani at that time was the only place you could run a tab with your Amex card. Tomo's was for the high flyers. A lot of deals in town was done here. Tomo really treated me well. Of course money was the driving force. I used to take out the haole girl with the big boobs. Used to stay overnight at her place on Nehoa St. She just loved to fuck. I learned later that the K chicks were the bomb. I went out with a few of them. Some only loved to go shopping before you could partake. This is your small brain ftaking over. Most of the K chicks had Anglo Saxon last names. They snagged a GI to get into the USA and after getting the card ditch them or cheat on them. It was fun.

Very insightful comments. I thank all of you OG's out there willing to take time and $ to help the YG's (young guys). Been "apprenticed" by a number of uncles who saw took me as their wing man / apprentice on various missions in and around the koreamoku area. Glad to say I've returned the favor many times over with the YG's.

Don't have the time or patience for the kb / vb scene but my buddies sure enjoy the chase. Lastly, small kine mahaloz to my Korean brothers who have "taken care" of me. Always good to have some who can speak to mama direct. Met some incredible lookers with "nice" memories from back in the daze!

As an E class, I know I'm old and even chose Oldee as a name here but in real life don't like to called 'Old or old guy'. My friends my age call each other old futs but when younger guys call us OG, somehow makes us think people think we are 'over the hill'. Its kinda like when I was in my 20s and my older mentors called me 'kid' which I didn't care for. However, maybe I'm just being vain, hehe.

I don't usually question other mongers, but you've got some red flags that I need to address.

I'm just telling you mongers go see G O at Pink, one guy from Maui saw her four straight days, another spent 3 hours with her, what more can I say her serviice must be great, lot of repeat mongers. Your choice no body forcing you to see her, just telling you guys what I heard.

Club Arirang, Club Rose (the original in Kalihi) Stop Light. 825, Yokohama and Bon Soire (sp?) etc.

Is. Was the Club Rose that was on Kapiolani in the early 80's, where Jazz Minds is now, the original location? Were they in Kalihi before that?

One afternoon, Rose was so pissed at her son for goofing-off that she went after him out the Kapiolani door with a hammer in her hand.

825. One night I was mongering around Koreamoku and saw a girl with nice buns in short shorts, and followed her up Keeaumoku from a distance. She saw me and would turn around and grin now and then. I followed her through the parking lot, up the stairs where New Business is now, into 825, and when I got in she was waiting in the dark and introduced herself as Tomo. That side of the bar was just a big unstaffed spot-lit room of booths, like an old restaurant, so no one even knew we were there. Just so happened I caught her on her way to work.

She let me check her out (she was naked under the shorts) , one thing led to another and next thing you know we were naked squirming around in one of those huge round booths; mish. 69, my first DATY, etc. She was so fresh, unlike the k-girls who made my finger stink. She was so awesome and the first nympho I ever met; didn't even ask for money.

Thanks for bringing back the memories.

Suzu (original Kalihi grab ass bar) , Golden Bee, Shangri-la, Tomo, Sportsmen's Lounge, Koko Head Steakhouse, Lotte, Chandelier, Ogi's Lounge (originated the champagne bs) , Takeba, Koreana, etc. KNightclubs were big back then, too. Nekohana two bucks; happy hour beer 50 cents and hard liquor one dollah. Lancer's wine (green and brown) ten bucks. Hahaha, seems like only yesteryear!

Funny, checked out the clubs mentioned when I was in high school-school nite too, haha! Had a few uncles who had kala plus I was good sized for my age so it was an easy entry. Interestingly, I'd tell the school buddies of my adventures and take a few of the guys with me to experience. Back then my balls were bigger than my brain.

Haven't been in there for a couple of years so not sure if she is still there or not. UniHee (probably spelled wrong) , Rose's sister is owner of FN. The way I have heard it is they both want to drive the other out of business, no sisterly love there.

My UniHee story is, I use to go to FN a lot from '95 to 2000, she would always come to my table and get me to order her a double shot of tequila and make a big deal about how it was straight tequila putting the shot glass under my nose. It was always delivered with a ice water backer. After a while I realized she was spitting the clear tequila back into the water backer not swallowing it. Her drink cost me $40 but she would let me go upstairs in a private room with two or three strippers (Brittany, haole, platinum blond hair down to her ass, Fara, local haole, dirty blond with light reddish tint, both had killer bodies were my two favorites) and all get naked, so I didn't make a big deal about it.

There was a tiny strip bar for a short time next to the old Butterfly but I forget the name; might possibly have been Lollipop. Then further mauka about where Lulu Rara is now, was Top Gun strip bar.

I just know Babydolls came and went before I got to check it out :(.

I'm not as OG as some of you guys on this forum. But, still remember how the strip bars and AMPs back 10-20 years ago. Back then was the bomb. Even the hostess bars and disco clubs were better. Nowadays, its just getting more boring. The thing to look forward to these days is just the fancy high tech devices.

Strip bars. Had alot more back then with better quality girls. On top of that, play in the strip bars. Way nicer lineup of girls back then it was ridiculous. Made me go AMP afterwards. These days, I wouldn't even want to bother tipping anyone or even bother going. Back then, looked forward to throwing bachelor parties and strip bar hopping.

AMPs. There were more quality girls with better service back then. I should emphasize service. I think so anyway. There is some pretty good lineup today but, they have more rules and are firm on $. Back then, you could negotiate with the girl or, sometimes you don't even need to. The girl would just proceed to go into FS even though you originally only ask for a BJ. Only $100? No problem. They were ok with that and deliver FS. Also, back then they would give pretty decent massage before doing the deed.

Hostess Bars. Was busier back then with nicer lineup of girls. There were more younger crop of girls scattered among the Korean bars and Vietnamese bars. Nowadays, not so good. I don't feel motivated to have a BG sit by me. Unless maybe I'm feeling drunk that I don't care. They just want to rack up as much $20 drinks then just abruptly leave.

Disco Clubs. Way better back then. Back then was the jam with all the hit songs playing. A lot more people was looking forward to going clubbing and into dancing. Nowadays, its more like lounging around and socializing.

Downtown. Had more hookers to check out and see when going downtown. It was a thing to do after a clubbing night was to drive into downtown to see who would be there.

Damn, wish could turn back the clock and experience it again. Plus, checkout the ones you wished you checked out but haven't. Even Waikiki was far more happening with cars blasting the music driving on Kalakaua and turning onto Kuhio avenue. People would circle around and check out each other. Girls driving in their cars checking the guys and guys checking the girls. These days, the more strict things are, the more boring it becomes.

I still enjoy the AMPs though. I feel it hasn't gone downhill as much compared to strip bars and hostess bars. At least get new lineup of girls popping up at AMPs. Strip bars, you see the same faces for how many years. That or the new faces aren't that attractive. It's like any type of girl becoming a stripper no matter how they look. Hostess bars the same thing. Mainly older chicks with younger BG being scarce.

A few of my union friends used to bring their clients there to "smooth" over situations. Yes a lotta business guys would work out deals there also. I would think uncle miltie be making a few visits there back in the day too (on Aunty B's credit card, hehe). Met this big Korean (tae Kwon do) when I was in Seoul years ago and he asked me if I knew uncle. I said yes then he told me about his days as a bouncer for a number of bars around koreamoku and his close friendship with uncle, haha! Man this guy had stories to tell.

Over.As you mention, also a few relatives (I will lv. It at that) use Magazines for their Union mtgs. Enough said, stories upon stories during ohana time. How do you think I learned the negotiation aspects, the ins and outs, and where for go. Eat, drink, and get that Bernie Mac quote,"Special attention, you know that special attention."

Loved it, also use to cruise Club Hibiscus on Ward & Club Rose in Kalihi bcz of the special food use to get all the time. It always helps, Who you know.

Cops no use to hassle us as much, no make trouble, keep the noise to a minimum. Ahhh use to check girls out, they cruise and drink with us, some pass out on the hood or in the back of my truck. Always go to Bobby McGees 1st, then make plans where fo go after. Braddah U, you getum, would not even date a VB or SB wahine now, back then did. VB Viv, and 4those if you remember back then, RZ Billie, we dated for awhile. She was hot, local girl from the BigIsland, like a Filipino version of Salma Hayek. Oh; I always thought "OG" was a Gangsta term :).BTW, was joking more than anything about OG, so at least for me you can call this E what you like, hopefully just not over the hill, hehe. Regarding before times, got so many places that hard to remember since been so long ago but I'll try. Maybe not interesting for you younger guys but I remember that there were so many bars in the 70s. Literally ten times more than the 13kbs we got now in koreamoku and there were kbars and sbs all over honolulu. For example, Patti mama (camelot) was young and opened on kapahulu ave accross ala wai gc and think it was called Shangri la. My mentors back then had me go home with a kbg after bar closed and gave instructions to the girl to make me happy. Like a dumbass kid that I was didn't know what to do and blew it because I was innocent way back when, LOL. The kbg wanted me to screw me to gain favor with my mentors but I was scared shitless being fresh out of hs. Further up kapahulu accross safeway now had a strip bar and another regular kb anna's between Shangrila and that sb. Strip bars was common as well as 4am niteclubs all over. It was not about buying girls drinks as much as tipping or buying champagne which was way less than now. We'd go eat or niteclub after with the kbgs and thats when negociations began LOL. So many memories that hard to remember now, but those were the days.

Used to date the K & VBGs back in the day like everyone else. Nothing good ever came about dating them, of course, but the personal and work part of life wasn't going well either.

After ceasing and refusing to be further included in the KB scene (except to use them for what they are) things have gotten much better, privately and professionally. Which leads me to suspect that being involved with someone in the K & VB bachi business is somehow contagious or perhaps gradually getting out of the bar scene has knocked some sense into moi; that somehing my father once told me holds true: "you must be your own man".

Whatever it is, you KBGs and KB owners out there: bettah watchy 'cause bumbai bachi.

Guys used to go nuts for Domiko, an ex-stripper and bar owner. One contractor (construction was good in those days) admitted that he spent close to $2 million on her and her bars. One more lolo contractor spent $4-5 million on another good-for-nothing who eventually gambled everything away. Nowadays high-rollers no more; maybe Dom or Crystal but not car, condo, and cash (the golden triangle).

You like impress them? No give nothing to them; they going be impressed with how smart you are.

43+ years of K & VB meanderings do not a smart OG make. You other gangstas get out now if personally involved and use the bars and its BGs as recreational diversions, no be the goat and believe their BS.

Of course, easy for talk but it can be done and bettah them than you (go down the tubes) because this is our house. No mean for lecture; just a concerned OG with bar mileage.

Yo,

Wasn't that Patti Tamayose? Of Crystal Palace Fame, also a place called Pal Joey's or sometin? Vaguely remember- used to take my horny banker and broker clients to all them joints-Koreamoku had like 30 KB's, and my buds dated KBG's and VBG's of the day. Some never slept with clients, but still took home $2000 per nite on the weekends.

I had a shitty salary, but the expense account covered 5X week entertainment of them horny bankers and brokers.

It was the banker "mentors" that got me some service everywhere-booth, back room, takeout, hell even in the bathroom once! Even remember going to Happiness along ala moana (can't remember what it was called back in the day) , and the VBG sitting with my broker bud across from me went down on him while we watched. Wild.

Pretty sure I wuz just their alibi for "meeting" with vendor so they could get pussy.

Some of them were high rollers-limo, driver, gave jewelry to hoes / women, porked them in fancy hotels-ahh the life.

It was a blur that 15 years of my life. Fun, though, and I'd forgotten the details for the most part-your report triggered some memories though-man, that was a wild time :)

Jb.

LVilla Tae Kim (gone) used to have a revolver in her office; short, local bartender Willy was a disco king (Point After) ; Honey Girl was her local waitress. CPai was a '69 Kalani grad, younger brother a self-employed professional, honor student, had a child by a black guy, very long nipples, also gone via the Big C. Two legends of their time, in their own way.You just stirred up a memory that was tucked way back in the brain. Met Honey Girl and her friend I think her name was Donna, local girl about mid 20's at the time at a friends bachelor party one nite there. We were having a grand time with drinks and pupu's spread all over the table. Long story short, Donna forced her way into the booth to sit next to me and the next thing I knew her hands were all over me. Since my buddies knew I had a SO at the time I told her I would be back the next nite. Next day went there after work and she had one beer and said "let's go". I asked where and she said "my place". Mind you I just met her the nite before but I ended up spending the next 5-6 hrs banging her every which way. She had an an appetite that could not be satisfied. Oh to be that yound again.

However, I don't get ROBed now but still love drinking and eye candy. Not to mention beating bgs at their own game occasionally, hehe Its good that we can learn from each other so everyone benefits.

When I was starting out to monger through the bars and clubs, I (vaguely) remember finding a SC off Waialae Ave on some side street, makai side of the road. Had an orange back lit sign and pretty certain it was called Venus.

I bumbled in there and and there was this gorgeous white girl, maybe 30-ish dancing on stage. But she was dancing kinda burlesque style, not 'strip dancing' like they do now. She even had a long white boa that she was twirling around.

Anyway, the reason I always remember this was for the first time (and ONLY time here in Hawaii) ever, I saw a girl whip out a vibrator between songs and play with herself right there on stage. While this was exciting enough to watch, the best part was she did this for about 3 songs. By the 2nd song, she was in quite a frenzy and I could see the vibrator was glistening with juice. I was not sitting in front, I had a booth seat in back. Brothers down front coulda smelled it I'm sure.

But that was a memory I'll never forget.

Wow, you're reaching back there in the early 80's I believe. That SC was pretty raunchy and so out of place in conserative Kaimuki. My buddy was a bouncer there and used to bring some of the girlz over for fun and games. Did that blond have huge pussy lips? Think I remember that gal you're talkin about. A lotta older oriental guys would hang out and they used to freak at the "extras" hanging out on the haole girl, haha!

Before you guys get all excited, no I did NOT bang Kelly Hu. It was 1989 or 1990, I went to La Mancha niteclub which is now the sam sung plaza bldg with a group of friends both guys and girls. They used to have live bands and was a not bad place to cruise with friends before MADD and dui bs like now. Anyhow, one of my friends was Kelly Hu's neighbor / older brother type friend that she knew from her small kid days. His younger cousin was one of her bfs in hs and was told she was a tomboy smallkid time and lost her virginity at an early age. Anyhow, Kelly walks in with 3 other girls and get the table next to our 2 tables. Somehow get seated next to Kelly and get intros etc. Start to make small talk and tease her about her 2ft diamater hat and bla bla convos for awhile. Her friends start dancing as they know guys and get asked to dance etc. Kelly gets asked but declines a few guys here and there. Throughout this time I'm joking / teasing and generally having a good time talking with Kelly. (no, I was not trying to score) and was just fun messing around as she was famous even back then. Then a song is played that she likes (loves) and she says to me: 'UNCLE, lets dance! ' Like an atomic bomb exploding under me I suddenly come to the realization that I am OLD! Even tho she was barely 20 or 21. And adult called me uncle which signified and end of the young stud days for me even tho I had several years to go before I'd hit 40. My comeback was: UNCLE? UNCLE? , for that you owe me 2 dances. The 2nd song was slow which eased the emotional pain a little, hehe.

One was Family Lounge where the Big Burrito place is now, between 12th and Koko Head Avenues. It was a small old Korean place with somewhat private tables and hardcore (and I mean hardcore) 40+ hostesses who loved to step-up to the plate; don't know how the heck they named that place. The junk part was that the booths were Right by the Waialae entrance.

The other's name escapes me as it is long forgotten (went only once, it was junk with no girls), but it was where the weapon store is now, right next to Napa Auto Parts. Nice and large place, labeled by some as having had way too much money dumped into the renovation.

The one on the corner, mauka end of Jose's Mexican was a strip bar. Also, makai of Jose's. Korean husband and wife ran it. The wife had an unreal singing voice. There were two seating areas. The main on with the bar and the second one makai side, really dark area. Also a champagne room ewa side, the parking lot side. Durning the slow times, the wife would sing in that room.

I had a lot of play with many KG's back there.

Mostly haole girls. If memory serves me right they had a room upstairs where the girls would entertain between sets.

Family Lounge is where Yevette of Cache first started. Used to play with her at the bar under her long Vietnamese dress she often wore. Mostly older Milfs as stated. Once it was called Rose Garden and got a BBBJ from mama early one Saturday before it got busy. There was a MILF there named Kim that offered take out at her place across Kaimuki Park. She would make an excuse about not feeling well and we would spend a few hours. She was one horny old lady with no rules.

We used to call Harem the "last stop saloon" for us that lived on the east side. Owner Mr. Kim and his wife Teresa ran the place. I heard they run a mom and pop store someplace now.

Now Blue Sea is the "last stop saloon"".

I never partook in this place, basically I was on a budget even way back when. I drive past it almost everyday & happened to be stopped at the light. I noticed the front was looking pretty run down + Golden Bee letters are gone. Any info on the future of this site?

Is Family Lounge the one if you enter from the parking lot, you go through sort of a maze and think step down?

There was a young bartender there, younger korean, from the mainland. She opened a bar at the Ginza West complex off of Nimitz. Damn, no can remember her name either.

I met Yevette when she worked as bartender for Rina at the bar on Kapahulu, across from Love's Bakery.

Those $5 niko hana days sure were great.

The last time I saw Mr. Kim was several years after Harem closed. He was here to take care of something while Teresa was on the mainland, and looked so relaxed and happy.

The 2nd song was slow which eased the emotional pain a little, hehe.Brah, thats a great story. I bet there are kids who don't know her and call her "AUNTY" now!

Hey DM, do you remember what part area of waialae and how far from waialae itself? Was it blue sea 12th ave area? Venus name sounds familiar altho other bars in town prob had that name too 1 time or other. Off waialae could mean even kapahulu ave or the old Oasis near UH quarry. Don't it suck when your memory starts failing? LOL. Come on you other oldies and help us out.Yeah, me too makule awlready.

This place was just a block off Waialae avenue, makai side of the street. I remember that cause the orange neon sign caught my eye one night driving by and I turned around and went back to check it out. I only went one other time after that but don't remember anything great about it then to want to return as a regular.

I never partook in this place, basically I was on a budget even way back when. I drive past it almost everyday & happened to be stopped at the light. I noticed the front was looking pretty run down + Golden Bee letters are gone. Any info on the future of this site?I passed by last night and there was a few guys working in the back area kinda cleaning and moving stuff around. Maybe its going to re-open, but not sure what it will really be.

Stay safe gents!

I'm pretty sure Harem is the one I'm talking about. I do remember the husband as Mr. Kim, can't confirm the wife as Teresa tho. I'm E class so memory not so good. Do you recall that she had a great voice?

Is Family Lounge the one if you enter from the parking lot, you go through sort of a maze and think step down?

There was a young bartender there, younger korean, from the mainland. She opened a bar at the Ginza West complex off of Nimitz. Damn, no can remember her name either.

I met Yevette when she worked as bartender for Rina at the bar on Kapahulu, across from Love's Bakery.

Those $5 niko hana days sure were great.Never heard Teresa sing but I do remember sitting at the end of the bar one day and she and a couple of girls were taking this poor old Porturgese papa for a ride. One would be talking to him and the others would be spilling their drinks on the floor. When he wasn't looking Teresa would pour the drink down the sink.

Family Lounge did have an entry off the parking lot where you stepped down some stairs to get to the bar. Don't remember the bartender that went to Ginza West.

I wonder what ever became of their children; the Kims were considering what it would take to get them into Iolani or Punahou.

You correctly described Harem in your other post. There was also another bathroom past the champagne room. Since the champagne room had no door, the bathroom offered another level of privacy.

For a while afterwards, the space that was occupied by Harem was a tax place, and a lady's desk was by the window in the back corner right where the heavy action was. I chuckled one day while walking by and wondered what her reaction would have been if she were informed of what used to go on in that very spot.

That does sound like the makai entrance of Family Lounge to me.

Oh, actually the big lady who used to serve food at New Casino also used to work at Harem.

If she had a tight slim figure and flat chest, maybe that was Christy? She was the one who introduced me to that bathroom and always wore those slinky short skirts. That was one of the most exciting nights ever.

My mind is a little clearer this morning. The girl was korean, had a nice rack. Think her name was "China". (that's why I was thinking she was Chinese).

It's been so many years. That was a fun girl. I know she liked wearing the stockings too!

She would spit out in the corner on the floor every so often. But what I recall was the bartender ringing a bell and the girls would ask for drinks before the next bell rang. Not too sure now.

I hadn't been there for a while and went there one night before they shut the business down completely. Sophia wasn't there so was with someone else. I offered a lower amount for the back room trying to negotiate. MS came out to ask me who accepted that low amount. Told her Sophia. Think I may have gotten her in trouble.

The MS did bring in some nice girls in tho. I remember a pretty young one that spoke Japanese, she would bounce up and down on jr right in the booth. When the bell rang, still bouncing and asking for another drink.

MS must have had large living quarters. Many of them lived with her until their work visas would expire.

In the early 90s, there was 2 bars behind the sign shop on lower makai side waiakamilo but forget the names now. I think 1 was vbar before latest closure. Anyhow, these 2 bars was cool places to go with friends to chill and even female co workers wouldn't be out of place even tho was kbars. Mimi of later mimi's place (excel) used to serve us at the bigger bar and the dj and her was really good singers as I recall with no charge for karaoke rooms nor korean songs back then. (a good thing). Before I met Mimi there was a Toei, mid 30s looker that worked there and later opened at Ginza West. I got a couple freebies from her taking her home on maunalani heights after she was drunk from the usual skebe guys that got her drunk and who I'm always thankful to, LOL. However, kbgs are usually junk at sex when drunk because they just lie there since they drunk. One afternoon I was kalihi so decided to check out Ginza West and walk in 1 of the bars to see Toei alone and ofc glad to see me and I listen to her troubles for couple hours about how business bad and ofc her not knowing how to run a bar didn't help. After awhile of playing the good (listenor) , she suddenly says: want to fuck? I instantly get hard and point to jr saying: feel this and that I hope I don't have to do all the work this time smiling. She says she is going to show me how much she apreciates me and the rest is history, LOL. I had a very pleasurable afternoon that day but sadly never went back there as I knew she was looking for a bf / sugardaddy being she was desparate at the time. Anyone remember those places / girls? I'm curious as to what happened to those places / girls and if anyone got storys of that time.

The GM, major sweetie & I use to take the tills into the office and wait for the all clear, so we would not get banged from our $$$. A club that at the time was a little ahead of its time. I remember pouring a guy 7 flaming lambroughinis, braddah when shoot um one by one, then laid down on the couch by the bar, and was out for 5hrs. Classic.

Had the sports bar upstairs, karaoke bar at the DH end, and a VB & KB bar. Even the big whse to the ewa side, use to have major play of raves, plays, and watevasz.

Those were fun times.Speaking of Monte Carlo, I remember before the Wal Mart superblock was created and Kamaile Street was there, gorgeous k-girls worked in places like Monte Carlo and especially Vichon. Some of them were truly elegant; IMHO you just don't see that anymore. That was the time "baby bottles" of beer (for hostess drinks) came out. Getting rid of Kamaile Street was not a monger-friendly move.

There were other bars but their names escape me, though one is on the tip of my tongue; they are just images in my mind anymore.

All I remember of Star Strip is a viet dancer who had headlights that pointed in markedly different directions (my buddy was arguing with me that it was her fishnet top that had the nipples snagged; when the top came off and nothing changed, he owed me a beer), and nude black and white calendars of their dancers which in retrospect I should have held on to.

SsBesides those bars, there were some good jbars and local bars in the area. Funny how we didn't think that highly of those bars then because there were choke lots of them but I really miss those bars. There used to be some bgirls that dressed in gowns fit for Hollywood's red carpet in reference to HM's elegant girls. I used to go Club Yamato run by Haruko and girls like Gloria and Faye would take awesome care of customers that never spent more than $20 bucks which included tip and drinks for the girls. Had line out the door many nights and man, Gloria was HOT back then. Alot of bars had cassette tape karaoke with book, LOL and jukeboxes was common many bars. In the early 90s, there was 2 bars behind the sign shop on lower makai side waiakamilo but forget the names now.One was called Red Koi (maybe mid-to-late '90s) , but the one next to it kept changing ownership and names, IIRC.

Red Koi wasn't the glitziest bar around (in fact, it was a little on the seedy side) , but they had it all, strippers in the back, pupus and karaoke. I even took some coworkers there (male AND female) once and they had a good time.

Lots of stories and memories of that place.

Can only have a few images, I was again lucky as a bum can be, lived off Amana in the Circle bldg. & worked at the BIG BLDG retailer a blk away, remember "Holiday Mart"? Now a peep or 2 might know who I might be.

After work we use to go to Yamato bc Faye would take awesome care of us, great food, drink, elegant wahines, karaoke, and go hopping. Even when we were the 1st to open on Thanksgiving back in the day, was one of the regs who would close Yamato's, Lotte, Bamboo'z, LaMancha'z (get choke beefz before watch & sometimes participant) , go eat katsu at diners or for me was teri pork plate, fries, and slush float. Needed that before go back home, usually at 2-3am, the slush float use to cure my hangovers, can't explain why. Then go back work at 6-7am. Then when lunch time, get one Wo Gau gee soup with choke mustard sauce so the opu no get mo itai.

YOUNG, strong, can go all night long back in the day, bang'and ladies JGirl, Korean, local, was crazy back then. Most of the ladies use to shop in the store, get to see them in the Au Natural, some good, some not as good.

All the OG know, was major Paina that time. For me now, just a faint memory, old age, too many concussions, has taken its toll. Mahalos for the Sr. OG for bringing back some good memories for me. Tanz to you guys, now time fo me get dinner and go moimoi. Aloha

In the days before karaoke machines the box used to pay for the rent; $4-5K in those days. Music always flowing; sometimes had to wait one hour before your selection was played because some guys would plug the box with $20 worth of songs. During slow periods the house would plug the box with free plays.

The only thing you get free from the KBs nowadays is a kick in the cajones (you pay for it). Some guys get kicked there so often it's numb; that's why they come back for more punishment. Wise up and boycott.

SsVery interesting discussions in his thread. I came to Hawaii in 1988, but didn't venture into the bars much (but wish I had after reading your reports)--mostly stuck to the MPs, some AMPs and strip clubs. The only place I used to visit in the Walmart superblock area was Heidi's Massage (on Makaloa or Lamaile). I used to see a hot, young redhead there. But, she left the business to get married shortly before Heidi's was torn down (along with all the other businesses in the superblock) when the land was purchased around 1991-92.

BTW, here's a pic of the superblock circa 2002-just before Walmart began cconstruction. Sad.

While I really can't remember the buildings there too well, personally, I'd rather see what is there now rather than an empty lot, which it was for a loooooooong time. As for what was there before, I'm torn I guess. On one hand, Wal-Mart employs a LOT of people and is really bargain shopping, especially in these tough times. On the other hand, there was a large part of Honolulu's past gone missing when it was torn down.

Nice pic by the way. I really like the misshapen sign and fence in the foreground!

Nice pic by the way. I really like the misshapen sign and fence in the foreground!Wasn't there a Diners drive inn there before and isn't Camelot where Classic Cat used to be?

I was trying to figure out the "secret" meaning of haloed ground. Until I realized he meant hallowed, LOL!

Was the old Classic Cat one of the buildings torn down? Or was it back by Secret? Good times there! Was this the place that allowed photography of the girls on stage? Had a lotta fun times with the boys there. There were choke guys with their video cameras on Sunday's i believe. Wonder if anyone got tape of action back then? Haha! Did a few photo shoots there while working on my fine arts training. BTW-it was easy to hook up for a "free" portfolio.

The Cat was where Camelot is. Prior to the Cat, there was a (viet?) dance club at that location. Had live band and stayed open until 4am.

Anyone remember the strip bars on Kapiolani, just ewa of femme nu (in what is now a parking lot) , early to mid 80's? Can't remember the name, but there was one with a dirt floor. And another one where Tim (former SPIII door guy) was tending bar. Both were total dives back in the day when finger banging and DATY were expected by mongers AND dancers.

You're right, Diner's was on a section of what is now the WalMart block; Kanunu used to run through so yes it would be approximately where WalMart's parking lot now sits. One night I was taking a crap in there and some punk outside in the lot was training this other punk step by step how to disassemble the dash to rip car stereos. Then they yelled "Eh flush 'um ah!" and peeled away; punks.

I believe Classic Cat ("Where the Pussies Purr!") which was a big place that I think occupied Moonflower as well, did allow picture-taking. One stripper's act involved using fire; she'd blow flames. The only thing was guys' beers on the rim of the stage were on napkins, and I remember one guy's napkins ignited. The flames went right up the side of his mug; "Dayum, muh beer got flambe'ed!".

I just remember Club Rose and Misty 2 as strip bars. In between them, there was a small bar (forget the name) that was similar to French Caraven and 501; had young scantily-clad local, mainland and exotic-mix girls who would proposition for take-out on the first drink. They were awesome enough to blow away any of the fake ads on BP nowadays, and would not proposition without that first drink. It later became a strip bar run by Kim, the #1 BG from By Me, and Misty 2 stripper. Ewa of that (now a parking lot), I only remember Club Eclipse, a k-hostess bar. Song at Evergreen used to work there; she was so pretty. Seiko was another good SB, thanks Ship Shape.

I don't remember a dirt floor bar, or what was where Red Rose is now. Tim is still at SP3.

Thanks for the list Aflack; it would seem to be yet another name, and I'm pretty sure it was on Kamaile.

Nice pic, Blake. Yeah I remember that block was fenced-in for a long time; cops were training rookies on how to write parking tickets to bargoers who parked at sidewalk ramps (even though the whole place was fenced-in anyways). One guy sounded just like Ofc. Medeiros from Rap Reiplinger's skit.

One was called Red Koi (maybe mid-to-late '90s) , but the one next to it kept changing ownership and names, IIRC.

Red Koi wasn't the glitziest bar around (in fact, it was a little on the seedy side) , but they had it all, strippers in the back, pupus and karaoke. I even took some coworkers there (male AND female) once and they had a good time.

Lots of stories and memories of that place.Lets hear the stories, hehe.

Before what is now Napa Vally, there was a nightclub that occupied current Napa and what is Panda Restaurant now so the place was much bigger and had live bands and I know Steve Dulcie used to sing there. Anyone remember the name? Also, Side Street Inn was a kbar long ago but name escapes me. During this time period, (mid to late 80s) , there was a certain dude 'playa' legend who supposedly banged EVERY GIRL of a certain bar and lot of people talked about and wondered what was his secret, hehe. Towards the end, think the owner of MistyII bought that bar, knocked the wall down and made one big bar. The owner of Misty II was married to an attorney? No can remember her name. One of the bar backs is now at Misty's.

Regarding the empty lot, we all joked that they couldn't build because they had to clean all the toxins left by the BG's.

Really enjoy this thread. Brings back some (not all memories). Was the operator of Seiko's, Tony whose brother (I think) landed at Exotic Nights? What was the name of the bar that started lap dances on Keamoku? Club LaLa. Think they had a baby grand piano. Before the Hawaiki Tower, I think there was a place over there on Piikoi on the 2nd floor that was open until 4am (had like a bed mattress store on the 1st floor as I recall). Memory doesn't serve to well but I recall walking up kind of a wide staircase to enter. Diners! Used to go there damn near everynight. Got my plate lunch and played Galaxians.

I posted on 825 but won't repeat it here so I won't get depressed :). Gardenia Garden was an SB on Dillingham across HCC. At one time they had killer girls there. I never saw her but heard of Gorgeous Borges, a hot lady with huge jugs.

In 1991 Taj Mahal had a HOT mainland cgirl (Val?) and I saw her a lot. She was the coolest. She was a huge Mr. Bill fan and could imitate him pretty good! She was one of the few hostesses over the years who made me laugh (nowadays I'm trying to keep my cool with some of these a-holes). They had a really good sound system too. Then she left and there were college girls originally from the mainland working there; it was so slow they had time to open their books and study. Yes it was lame. Then I heard they got busted because a girl promised what turned out to be an undercover 'all kine goodies' if he would be her regular and keep buying her drinks.

Thanks Thumperforq, I forgot all about Yaesu Yaesu. We went one night and Frank DeLima was there cruising.

I remember Lala but didn't frequent it. Seemed cabbies had a lot of business from that bar in particular.

All I remember about Seiko is that they had Korean play-hard hostesses (not like now where pretty much the Viets took over that market), and had a kinda cute, young, short, petite dancer we used to refer to as "The Girl With The Mosquito Bite Ass" because it always looked like it had several mosquito bites on it. But, it remains one of the nicest, fullest, roundest asses I have seen even to this day. We never knew her nationality but she looked Viet Hispanic or something.

After Kengo's was closed down, a KBG (Jeannie aka Jin Hee) opened a local style bar there (Orange Juice?) but the customers were mostly big mokes, so had fights and cops all the time and no 'spender' customers. Shortly thereafter, it closed and she was again hustling drinks at Evergreen.

Man, all these memories. I guess I acclimated to the insufficiencies of bars nowadays, and now they seem even shittier than ever. Well, even Mr. Spock said, "Times change".

BTW, thanks you guys for refreshing this old brain of all those old places. We AND the bgirls were so different than this generation of bargirls. Of coarse had plenty robs but not like today robs imo. I remember licking our chops when some girl was a FOB from some hick town in korea and could take advantage our THEIR inexperience. Today, FOB girls are ready to rob you from day 1 and most had plenty practice headstart on mainland. Before time, if the girls couldn't speak english good, they knew they HAD TO put out more because that was the way things was. Today, its little to no play for more $ than before times. The 'game' is so different now and its really sad. There's alot of reasons why with 1 being we spoiled them too much and I see so many guys still do. Having said that, I still like the going bars for the atmosphere and sometimes lucky score but not as much as before times.

There are many reasons for this with 1 being guys spoiling the girls and still do imo. Rewarding the spoiled kid leads to even more rotten kid. Sadly, the game is different now and its a lucky thing I like to drink for drinks sake and girl watch instead of hunting like the old days. I remember licking my chops when there was a FOB girl from korea or vietnam and we could take advantage of their inexperience, hehe. Bad english meant they had to put out more because thats how it was. Today, fobs are ready to rob you from day 1. MONACO! That's the one I was trying to remember.I remember Club Monaco, but not a lot (duh, if you know what I mean). Good catch on the remembrance. I'm trying to remember the bar on Makaloa that shared a parking lot with a pool hall and a two-pump gas station (the faux owner was Gina and the manager was Ron. 50s, who wore glasses and walked with a cane).

Tiffany was built on the old Green Turtle (Kengo's) site and featured an ugly aquarium motif on the bar; the enclosed area was more like a terrarium; fishes on the bar and a desert on the wall.

Nowadays, the KB operators would kill for a huge bar and parking lot like that. Oh well.

Then you saw all the artwork on the walls.Remember Rebecca because she was Chinese (with some K connection I can't recall at this time) , maybe the first one to be operator of combined C / Kbar. Don't recall wall artwork but know that that Ewa Villages guy (now serving life for theft / fraud) used to spend $Ks in an evening on his $30K salary.

Anyway, in the 80s, random KBGs used to unsolicitly brag about their popularity and customer numbers. The average # of customers per braggart KBG was 55-60 dummies in those days (like moi) ; and you know they probably screwed all of them in different ways.

One of the best KBs was Kokohead Steakhouse, Kaimuki. 11th Ave. ; first KB to serve h-boiled eggs for pupus! Interestingly, one of the sister-owners also was the first operator of AMP Ohana; refused to let me in ("Go home; no come this kind place").

There was strip bar on Koko Head Ave where the nail salon is now. I think the name was Esquire.

Teresa and her husband moved to Tacoma, Washington; this was from her husband's, sister's boyfriend.

Rose Garden was also called Teresa's Rose Garden (no relation to the owner of Harem).

Wasnt that the old Kapahulu Theatre? I don't think there was a nightclub but then again maybe the theatre could be used as 1 I guess. Could be mistaken but pretty sure was the theatre there.

Don't think there was a nightclub altho they could have used the theatre for other stuff I guess.The theater was on the corner where there's a Papa John's and a Sushi Bar. Used to go the the massage parlor upstairs in the next building to see a haole lady that used to work in the bar that is now Seoul Garden way back in the late 60's. I think the name was Velvet Lounge and it had a nice Japanese bartender there that took care of us young guys back then. If I remember correctly the haole's name was Bobbette. I remember her big D's and tight pussy.

These were places that the Skinman got lucky at various opportune times when he was a very young man struggling to overcome a slightly bothersome problem known as "premature ejaculation". Hehe. These girls made me cream in my pants a few times. All a learning experience for a teenager introduced to that world by my liberal minded, rascal grandpa. Pops, though you left this world for the eternities many years ago. Your memory lives on in my heart and mind. Mahalo for showing me the ropes!

So it couldn't be the same place. I kind of remember a strip bar on Kapahulu painted a purple color and had a mural on the outside. It probably was further up the street toward the mountain side of Kapahulu.

As far as I can remember it was a Harpo's pizza.

I think Harpo's is further makai, down by Rainbow Drive In.

Teresa and her husband moved to Tacoma, Washington; this was from her husband's, sister's boyfriend.

Rose Garden was also called Teresa's Rose Garden (no relation to the owner of Harem).

Had a sugar daddy that sponsored her. Yvette at Cache was the bartender. I still remember going there with a friend, asking Yvette if we could watch the Master's golf tourney that we taped that day on vcr. She refused.

I don't remember if it was Arirang or Lucy/Lucy 2 when I used to go, but I got the best BBBJs ever especially from Donna, even to this day. The 40+ very-large-breasted k-ladies lived right nearby and gave take-out to their apartments. One of them (Monica?) would lean over and use both hands to maneuver her heavy jugs to give me a 'tit job'. She was really something.

I remember an older haole stripper with pendulous boobs who would finish her show by playing with a dildo in her hand then squeezing it, 'cumming' on the audience. She 'rubbed fire' on her body, too.

Also had a brunette dancer with melon-sized jugs. They were so big she couldn't dance; all she could do was stand and turn side to side.

This thread is the bomb. Helps to stimulate the brain synapses once in a while. Someone asked about a bar by a 2 pump garage? Was wondering if it was on Kamaile with the small store? The bar was Garden of Angels. And down the street towards Keeaumoku was DaVinci. 4 o'clock place with live band and dancing. Remember the staircase? 10+ ft wide w / handrails? I use to wonder, where would I stop if I lost my balance coming down that long a$$ stairs? DaVinci had been on Kapiolani / makai side across Pan Am building I think. Then it moved to kinda behind Anderson Camera on Keeaumoku down a long walkway. This one had a bartendress who used to line-up 5 glasses in 5 rows and filled them up with water or tea and before you knew it all 25 glasses were gone. Used to be $10 that time. DaVinci was a gold mine!

Sorry for the long excerpt (I chopped a lot out), but I came upon this from 'janesoceania.com':

~ It is all chilly and sexless and overpriced, but the massive number of new Japanese have made it a booming business. So much for the Club Tomo, and Mugen, and the others.

Apart from the Club Mirage, which was empty. Perhaps this name was a deliberate joke?. The other clubs were a little livelier. Club Cheri had one named girl doing kneebends on a table. In club Top-Gun three overdressed Japanese men screamed songs into a karaoke mike in front of a television set, and in Club Hachi Hachi one man was doing that. In the Butterfly Lounge young soldiers heckled a fattish dancer, and in Exotic Nights and Club Turtle asked dusky girls posed on a small state for sweaty men in baseball hats, who were encouraged to buy beer at five dollars a bottle.

Saigon Passion had a successful theme the last days of the Vietnam War. It was soldiers from Schofield and Vietnamese hostesses, dressed casually, in jeans and T-shirts, and lots of army memorabilia. It was one of the few clubs that held my attention, because the music and the faces made it seem such an atmosphere time warp. A young girl sat with me. Ruby, from Saigon, lived with her mother in Waipahu, about twenty or so.

I went to the Carnation Lounge, to the Misty H Lounge, Kita Lounge, Les Girls, Club rose and Club Femme Nue. There were twenty within a three-block area. Some were run by Vietnamese women, most were run by Korean women. Because of this, their generic name in Honolulu was "Korean bars."

At one time they had been famous for the tricks women performed in them. One club was put on the map because a woman in it picked up coins with the skillful manipulation of her vulva, another boasted a woman who inserted a cigar between her labia and puffed it (men crowded near to see the tip of the cigar brighten) , and that same woman could play a clarinet in a similar way. There was a club where a woman stood behind a transparent shower curtain while men groped her (introducing another sort of club in Honolulu, the "feelie bar") , and there was one on Keeaumoku (known as "Korea-Moku," because of the nationality of the proprietors) where an agile woman came on stage, leaned back, parted her legs, and expelled ping-pong balls from the depths of her vagina cavern. And the balls, still warm and damp, were fought over and clutched by grateful men. This last example of conjuring had been popular at a club called the Stop-Light, but the place had since changed hands, it was now called the Rock-Za, and in its way it was typical: loud music, expensive drinks, naked girls. The bouncer, John. An enormous Samoan from Pago Pago. Said it was a gold mine. It was his job to prevent patrons from touching girls.

"They get one warning, and the next time out they go," John said. But he was ambivalent about the honor of the performers. He said the girls were spoiled and overpaid. ~

Kurobara was on the Diamond Head (DH).side of Kapalama Canal, parallel to Kokea St. The other bars mentioned were on Kokea St. (Ewa-side). Waiakamilo SC wasn't fully-developed at that time, I believe; perhaps the same parcel containing smaller stores and bars.

I liked Prospect Point (Charlie F.) due to big place, music, dancing; Latin Villa was down the street.

A popular nightclub was where the New City Nissan is / was; of course, name of the Nclub forgotten. Blue Ribbon (Candy & sister) at the top of Kapiolani and before Napa Valley; lesbian bar across the street.

8 Fat Fat 8 on Beretania has been around for quite awhile. I first went there in 1988. The original owner Sai (from Hong Kong) was a hellava nice guy. He drank a lot of beer every day / night and died of liver cancer about 10 years ago (RIP Sai). I heard his sister (s) took over the place after he left us.I took a guy from our Cali office 20 years ago. He still talks about the Chinese style deep fried whole chicken, ika legs, poke. Was the first time we tried the garlic chili paste. I took him to China town to buy it and take back with him. He and his friends spread it on their hamburgers at a cook out. Had to send him the king sized jar.

Anyone remember this place? It was on the 2nd floor of Puck's Alley, entrance facing mauka from the parking lot. $20 house fee $30 tip. Run by a haole lady named Donna. Mostly haole girls. Later moved to a side street near King and Piikoi.Was she a large Haole Lady who wore glasses? I remember a place called Fuji's that was run by a woman named Donna; it was located in the 2 story building across Washington Intermediate School that had the brass fixture shop.

They later moved behind Do-Re-Mi Karaoke on the second floor.

They had one Japanese girl that I used to see all the time. This was before the Korean invasion of the MP's.

I remember the fee was. 15 and the tip was. 35.

Does anyone remember Riches Club, Central Relaxation, and the one above Exotic Nights too?

You had to have someone bring you in, to verify that you were not going to bust them.

Had some nice young haole chicks there that's why he liked it. The one I had was from the south and was a raving nympho. She said she first had sex at 12 and had been doing it ever since. She must have been about 20 when I saw her. Good thing I was young then and could keep up with her. My first greek isle experience.

Riches was in Kakaako in an industrial building. Was taken there by a business associate just to look. As I remember it wasn't the cleanest looking place.

Where 825 Keeaumoku is. In that strip of businesses. Was a place on the second or third floor. Very discreet, even though had two popular strip clubs in the same area. Was run by an older black woman. Real sweet. Think her name was Patsy. Used to hug everyone that came in and let you peck her cheek. Knew everyone who came by name if you were a regular. Had a living room area and kitchen attached. She always had food and drinks if you wanted something. Girls who worked there were really classy. Took good care of clients, otherwise Patsy would send them on their way. Had several back rooms, could take a shower if you just came from work. Prices were really reasonable. One of the best places ever. Patsy was in business for a real long time. All kinds would go there: teachers, doctors, dentists, businessmen, bus drivers, even a couple of police officers. Old style. Was a young buck back then, so never really knew how good we had it.

Another black woman who called herself the "black widow" who used to run an escort agency big time got busted with all kinds of bad publicity. So LE had to take down Patsy too. She plead no contest, paid a fine and left the state.

Makes me want to cry just thinking about the good times there.

Sometimes not too happy going down memory lane.

I had a good thing going until one of the girls told her that I was meeting girls and seeing them outside, and cutting out Donna. The place above Exotic Nights was Tropical Sauna Bath. That was a great place too. Had to have a friend bring me in and vouch for me.

#2. No remember the name of the bar (upstairs was a Jbar) by Danny & Michelle, but remember that Rocksy was the bartender there (he just came out of the pen) at the time. Narrow bar with counter on the right-side. Wally Fujiyama was a regular there; he died several months after the place opened.

Working on other quiz questions.If it was across from the Vinci's, the J-Bar was Club Ichi Ban. Lots of chinesse girls there. Think the oners name was Sayuri.

Only remember The black Rose downstairs.

Across Kamile from the Vinca's was Lotto / Club Burgandy. Now it's club walmart, LOL

"Chicken Alice" Yang actually had a bar by that name where the current CEO Lounge is now in the '80s. It was a very busy place in the past as Debbie's Parkway (SRO) and an Ann / Patty bar (no can remember name). Someone emptied a round from a handgun from Ward into the Twilight bar counter area during the after hours. Crazy buggah from Takeba times until he died.

CAlice must have somewhat more of a working interest in the present Twilight or she sold the name to Eve. Whatever, because when it comes to KBG money "The World Is Not Enough" and even moreso, Easy Come Easy Go.

Does anyone remember this bar which occupied both the current Camelot and Moonflower? The mama at the time was this hapa girl that to this day remains the best looking mama I ever saw with both looks and body. That bar also had a fish tank and I remember the bartender loved the tamed balloonfish, LOL.

She plead no contest, paid a fine and left the state.If this is the BWidow who drove a black (naturally) MBenz SL, then she plead the nolo to pandering. She was quite the character and gaudily dressed; quiet, but effective.

There was another bar on the other side of the back entrance called Utopia which was ran by Darlene.
