Since reading the stories about the Soup loop, I have driven by the station (the only obvious part of the loop) about 15 times. I have been very disappointed to never see anything. Until Friday night. There were two options that night. One was flashing a light at every car that came by. I actually thought it was some one on on a bicycle. I drove back around to get a better look, didn't see anything that was a must have, so I thought I would get something inside and leave, store was closed, but as I was about to leave the one with the flashlight flashed at me and walked to my passenger door and asked for a ride. I couldn't see her face well, but from what I could see, she wasn't great looking. I declined, but she was adamant that the just wanted a ride up the street. The maxton hotel is closed down. The town cited criminal activity is the reason. So I guess they will shut down the entire town soon if that's the case.
