If they list their number right away, they're likely a real person. Especially if they go through the trouble of spelling out some of the numbers. Does that mean they're really a provider? There's no way of knowing. I have no idea whether LE goes so far as to set up fake numbers to bust people. Your best bet is Google the number and see what comes up. If you don't get a hit, you have to decide whether to risk it or not. I've seen instances on here where someone took one for the team (TOFTT) and it panned out. Another good idea is to search for their name on this site and see if anything comes up. Keep in mind it's always a good idea to limit any kind of explicit talk. Especially via email or text when you have no idea who's on the other end of that computer. That stuff doesn't go away! You'll probably miss out on some legit girls that are trying to find out if you're LE, but better safe than sorry. When I used to do this regularly many years ago via pay phone, you would just call up and agree to meet. That was it. No talk about what was expected until we were both comfortable that we were both legit. Good luck. CL is getting worse by the day, but there's still some gems to be found.
