Cost was. 3 and minutes are. 2 for 3 months and they give you triple minutes for that phone which is impossible to use and it even rolls over if you get a nother 3 month card.
All available for cash at Wal-Mart. Can pretty much get area codes local or anywhere you like. Had Wal-Mart "expert" set everything up in store. No personal info required.

Everything you do on Google Voice is logged against your cell phone's unique identifier number by both Google and the WiFi or Cell carrier you are using at the time. A TracFone that is bought with cash and registered on a public computer (library) using a Tor browser will be exponentially harder to trace back to the user. To my knowledge, I have never had a provider not answer a text or call from one of my many TracFone numbers. Also make sure you never use it near home or work.

I get that a monger wants their real number protected from a provider who may be a bit looney tunes or a monger uses a burner phone to hide their mongering from their significant other, but some of the talk on her[/blue] suggesting LE will track some regular Joe Blow mongering (and nothing else) is a bit far fetched.

The app did identify some numbers from my call log and displayed a page with multiple comments from other app users saying "scam," "telemarketer," and stuff like that. So, from the info and layout I saw, it seems possible for providers to use that function to leave comments about monger numbers. That was for the free version. Reportedly the paid version offers enhanced caller identification capability and perhaps additional commenting options.
And that brings me back to the original question which, if I read it correctly, wasn't about LE or privacy, per se, but more about whether providers have some way of detecting if a client is calling from a burner (whether TracFone or other). I've encountered providers who won't accept appointments if you call from GV, for example. So it wouldn't surprise me if some ladies might do the same for clients who call from a burner, assuming they can identify it as such. In the past I've seen lists of blocks of phone number prefixes broken down by the carrier to which they belong. That's one possible way that could work.
I guess one way to figure it out would be to download Mr. Number to one phone and then call that number from a burner. But you'd need the paid version because that's most likely what the providers use. I don't intend to pay for an upgrade so I won't be doing that experiment.

A2BP for all its problems, had the advantage of reaching a critical mass of providers that made it a "go to" site for clients. But that wasn't always the case and BP was the big winner after CL shut down their dedicated adult sections.
Now it remains to be seen whether one single site will similarly rise to the challenge in short order, or whether the market will remain fragmented for some time.
I think the winning sites will be those who figure out how to reach critical mass sooner and better than others, while avoiding the pitfalls that brought BP down. It's going to be interesting to watch.

With as much $ as there is to be made, I'm surprised someone hasn't simply copied the BP / CL model & format and put up a site like that. They could certainly tweak it to better protect themselves by doing more robust ad screening, keeping servers outside the US, etc. But, since it wasn't the format of the site that got BP in trouble, why not go with a tried-and-true format? BP and CL weren't perfect but they were both simple to navigate, clear in format, and good at showing the most current advertisers while also (BP) allowing sticky ads for which providers paid a premium. And it was those kinds of features, and the ease of use and accessibility, that helped them achieve critical mass.
Why reinvent the wheel? Even a blatant copy should do fine as I doubt either BP or CL would be in a hurry to sue for any kind of infringement. To date, nobody has really risen to the challenge. Many are trying but, IMHO, none are succeeding.

You can search for a specific city such as Annandale and see providers from that area, their contact information and their reviews. You can also tag a provider as a favorite and when you login you can see if she has new reviews.

Both backpage.ly and onebackpage.com are fine as escort sites, because that's immediately what you get when you go to them. Both feature the adult section prominently at the top and both are quick to show premium adult ads even when you haven't searched for them.
So, as I said in my earlier post, there still aren't any good sites for the CMT-quality FBSM providers who prefer not to advertise on sites geared toward escorts. I've been relying on the same sites you've mentioned, eros, slixa, and onebackpage. No site has anywhere near the volume of BP before it went down, though.
Switter. At seems to be getting some movement. I think it has the potential to outdo BP as it's more a social network. I've seen a few reliable providers on it.
