But as others have said in the past, I pay them to go home, not to learn about their lives. If I get what I am looking for, and they deliver what they promise, I don't find any reason to try to drive their prices down. Like most of you have experienced, some of the most reasonable rates for an area have garnered the most mind-blowing experiences and the upper-echelon prices have been some of the most forgettable as a waste of time and money. I've had providers comment that even if they offered their services for free in Knoxville, there would be some mongers attempt to haggle for a lower rate (could limit the availability of traveling ladies to the area). If you have a tolerance for haggling, go for it, but haggling isn't for everybody. Aspects that you don't think are open for haggling (e. G. , rent, food at grocery stores, clothing), are fully open for negotiation if you give it a try. Seeing a provider may be more like negotiating with a car dealership or auto repair place, but I can understand the restaurant reference. I don't have the tolerance for haggling, so I often pay what the provider asks so we can both get on with our lives until next time. That's why you often see a provider advertising one price for new friends but will have an undocumented, lower price for returning friends.
If negotiations break down, a bloke can simply move on to the next provider without making the provider who refused feel bad for trying to make a buck. With so many quality providers available, there's room for just about any approach or combination of approaches for procuring service. As long as you get what you want for what you are willing to pay for it, nothing else matters.

Bezee.I have been in this game for 15+ years so I know the "fair" market rate for a provider's time, and I rarely negotiate. If I am seeing a new provider, and she has some good reviews, etc. And is asking for something in the neighborhood of $200 for an hour, I have no problem paying that. If I like her, appreciate her service, and intend to see her again, I will also tip her on top of that (especially if she doesn't ask me for a tip). I know that I pay more than most guys do, but I do that so that I become a priority for them. When I decide I want to see them, I want them to make every effort to accommodate me, and yes that means they might be breaking previous arrangements to meet with me instead.
