The flying J at xit 369 is where most of the truck stop fun in Knoxville seems to be at the moment.
Last time I was there beginning of August the back 2 rows were definitely jumping.
There was about 6-7 girls working there, there was another who was probably working but just offering back rubs, there was another selling DVD's on the radio and finally another woman selling BBQ,

For what it's worth I'm late 30s and my friend is a few years older than me and so we are neither old nor young.
We used to work together and so the fact that our friendship developed with the backdrop of we were being paid to spend time together complicates that equation a bit.

But then I saw a car come out of the semitruck parking area (that's always THE sign). Big ole light blue clunker of a car, it pulled up beside me. Sure enough, two women -- both pretty cool. After the usual bs story of bad luck, suggested we move to a more private locale to talk more. Long story short, we had a little car party and I left smiling. One of them called herself SaraSmiles ('after the song'). Damage was a grand total of 30 + a half of a leftover pizza!

BigJim.Not much. Sara claimed to be from out of town but doubt it. Car a very light blue 2 dr sled some damage, rust. Think they'll be around there late night, seemed like they knew they could make cash there pretty easy. This isn't the first time I've had luck at that exit (cute panhandling girl at MickeyD's comes to mind) but -- you know, hit or miss.
