Between the mind-numbing amount of spam posts on CL generate, and the posts getting flagged no matter how they are worded, I'm finally asking for help.
How do you guys get ANY real numbers? I've tried using all of the various code words, always say flowers or donations, and my posts still get flagged after getting the obligatory shitload of spam.
I know I don't have enough "cred" to hit guys up for names and numbers, but hopefully someone can give some pointers. Or just tell me to keep plugging away and things will get better, LOL.The spam is definitely the worst its been in awhile. It's actually impressive how bad Captcha is at stopping botters yet still excellent at annoying every human user who uses it.
I actually tend not to mention flowers or donations in my post. One, because I'm pretty sure this will get you flagged quicker. Two, because I've actually scored some civilian girls without paying a cent, but this is rare and has only happened a few times for me. Most girls who want donations will either let you know or you will figure it out somehow.
Only tips I can give is that to ask to put something specific in the subject line (color, date, etc) and 99% of the time a legit girl will not give you an email or phone number in the first email. Don't ever go to any website or click any link from an email from craigslist.
Again all of this is just my experience and I'm sure others have different working methods as well.

A catchy title works the best at getting the initial attention. I also usually have them change the subject line to something different than the title to try and weed out the spam (or the dummies that don't read LOL).
WHEN you post affects your success as well. Both the day of the week AND the time of the day as well. Most people are looking on CL for RIGHT THEN not days later. Most only look at the recent ads. A few do search or remember a really good ad but most of the time it's the FRESH ads that work. If you're looking for a young cute college girl Friday and Saturday nights work well since no classes BUT a midday post when finals are over (they're looking to vent or celebrate) works great. Also if you know when either tuition or rent is coming up and they NEED money asap you can score some gems.

I noticed a large increase in the amount of spam as well, easy to navigate through though. I've had very good luck with my ad lately, especially with non pro's. I've got 2 different women that answered an ad I put in specifically targeting non pros and I've already nailed one and am about to meet the other for a secret rendezvous. All free of charge, nothing better.

You never know what's going to work. So I met this 48 yo MILF last week who answered one of my ads. I emailed back and forth for 6 weeks before she finally agreed to meet. CL is for lack of a better term an absolute cesspool. Everything that seems legitimate usually isn't, there are time wasters, pic collectors, and people who won't follow through. The spam is out of control, and it's frustrating to deal with. Every joe blow with a hard-on who gets rejected flags real ads out of spite and all that. Not to mention I can only imagine the amount of responses an actual woman or couple looking for someone is bombarded with. That being said, I have had some decent luck on there and those who are trying to post. Well I've found a few things that worked for me. You need to cut to the point in your ad and be a little creative. Whatever you're looking for, whether you come right out and say it or allude to it, just be succinct. They're on their for the same reason as you, but try and stand out from other posts. I have found that putting a line or two that proves I am real also helps them feel somewhat at ease in responding. Ask them to put something in the subject line that is unique, or pose a question for them to answer in the subject line, that shows they've read your ad. That way you can just insta-delete every response that comes in with no title, as the vast majority will be fake. That seems to work especially the more creative your question. The last tip I have is frequency, not posting 50 ads at once. But posting your ad and renewing it every few days so it is moved back to the top of the list. I would say on average every ad I post gets at least two-three real responses with varying degrees of success afterwards. Not a crazy number but all it takes is that one diamond in the rough, and I have certainly found a few of those in the past few months. I would be curious for anyone elses tips. Happy hunting.
