I am curious as this has me scratching my head, too. The problem as I see it, though, is entrapment. If LE places and ad on backpage, you call it and show up and ask for sexual services for money, that is one thing. If LE CALLS you for a date, that is another. While these girls do have customers, they do have private lives too. It could be:

She is planning on getting out of the business by just turning in leads, and advertising on BP across the state. I know that she is not the only one who has been introduced to this scam, as she learned of it from a 31 year old BP Girl who just returned to Ft. Myers after about a 6 month absence. I'm sure this word is at least partly out in Ft. Myers by now.
In addition, the exposingjohns.com website is sending emails to providers who include their email within the ads, telling them about this new "profit center", for all the "wasted calls" they get.

Do you have your message history to know which BP advertisers are either forwarding the number or are false ads?
