Someone had asked on the Rip Off thread if anyone had been charged yet in the murder of James M. , and at this time no. There was an article in the local paper a couple weeks ago where they seemed to be asking for leads. I missed this story from back in June, and is worth reading.

A female sheriff. Her main goals as sheriff will be to fight the heroin epidemic by working with lawmakers to receive as many grants as possible.

Interesting. I don't see her in jail anywhere though.Charged with promoting prostitution, she plead not guilty and posted a five thousand dollar bond on June 15. That's why you don't see her in jail.

I've seen this woman and I'm confident the police know exactly who she is. Likely just weren't going to waste the time on this. She lives right in that area. She squats in both RX houses right there off w main. I saw her last week hangin on the porch at the rx house across from the bakery with the usual crew. Seen her there and further south towards light on a popular rx house porch.

I was in spfld last night and today and one of the usual dope boys / pimp was set up on the bench off court st. He had older blonde SW with him. They don't even try to be low key and stand out big time. LEO crawling last night with the Dark Star show in town.

There have been large groups of younger adults and high school kids at all hours of the day and night since the stay-at-home orders were put in place. Always seemed like they were up to know good. I appreciate the busts for drugs and guns. Getting that crap out of the area makes our hobby a bit safer.

The news really doesn't say if the people busted were just in the parking lots or if it was workers in the two gas stations that were busted.

It does make you wonder if that area will dry up as far as the hobby is concerned, since there are two less places for drugs to be bought...wonder how long it will be before they move on the Clark station.
