Everytime I read about someone getting ripped off I get pissed off almost as much as if I were the victim. If getting the word out will prevent one monger from falling into the same trap or take some potential money out of a pimp, agency or skanks pocket, then it is worth it to point these rip offs out when I hear about them.
For those new to the board & hobby:

Guys, I don't know how many of you were hobbying in Cincinnnati back in the pre-Internet days (1990's). Scams like the ones described below were the rule rather than the exception back then. The scammers ran ads in City Beat (remember that rag)? Then the girl (who was sometimes reasonably attractive) would show up and try to charge you $150 for a strip tease in your living room. No thanks. I sent a number of these packing, once nearly getting into a fisticuffs with a driver.
There were also a bunch of outcall stripper agencies in those days: Best Shows, Cincy Seductions, etc, etc. (A few of these are still around.) Some of the girls from these agencies would provide extras. (I had good experiences with Cindy and Meisha of Cincy Seductions.) But you often ended up paying for a strip tease or a lame (no happy ending) massage. It was very hit or miss.
The only really reliable options then were the AMPs (a few near Dayton) and one or two legit agencies. But you could never see a pic in advance then. Some agency owners were honest in their descriptions, others not so honest.
The problem back then was that hobbyists could not share information, and there was no way to verify anyone, save for trial and error.
My point: A BP ad with pics that look suspiciously like stock photos should *always* send up a red flag.
Nowadays, I don't see anyone who doesn't meet at least one of the following criteria:
1.) Regular postings on USAG.
2.) Affiliation with an agency I trust (EE, Buddha, Discreet Desires, Fantasy's).
