A2There is another way to look at this, and I want to be clear that I am adding to this conversation NOT trying to attact or contradict the original poster. But if I was essentially running a bisiness largely based on referrals (and maybe I am, maybe not), I would pay very close attention to the reviews and make sure no one is posting info that is untrue or harmfull to my brand. I would also want to know what people think so I can continue what works and improve on legitimate complaints. If I was a struggling competitor with no personal values, I might be encouraged to post fake reviews against my competition (maybe that has happend to me, maybe not). For me, it would not be so much about ignoring what I don't want to read, but more about protecting my brand against what other potential or existing customers will read. With that in mind, it would make perfect sense that every popular and successful provider would be monitoring boards like these during their down time. Any handler would likely do the same. In fact, I always write reviews with the understanding that the service provider will be reading my comments, and I hope they consider it to be constructive critism that will help them improve their service to me and others.
