And then there is no guarantee that the information is old. But, sometimes especially when they are rookies, they use the phone numbers that they got when they bought a contract plan or a post pay plan that does not require a contract like TMobile. That information is not available anywhere online unless the person is careless.
But, for a fee, there are services that can tell you who the phone number is registered to on cell phone or landline phones. I did fined one website that will provide that info at no cost. Once they learn about burner phones or burner numbers though, this technique won't work. But, in a few cases, I have been able to figure out their identities this way. And between their facebook pages and other information I could find, I have had additional information to help me decide if I wanted to pursue them or not. So, there has been valuable for me to do this.

A2For maybe a year before I joined the forum, I was one of the many visitors. It was only after I had some experiences that I felt that I could possibly make any contributions and got a membership. That was soon before FOSTA went into affect. So, it is fresh in my mind what the differences have been.
It seems to me that a big part of the problem has nothing to do with the forum itself. I t seems to me that many posters of the past just simply gave up on the hobby all together, or just decided to stick with any regulars and not seek new ones. Since they just simply stopped using the forum, they may be gone for good. If that is the case, all the forum can do is be patient and wait for new members to join and build it up all over again. Sounds painful though.
Here is a big reason that might explain what is going on. The backpage replacements really suck big time. Almost every ad on onebackpage are phishing scams just after duping men into sites to give out their credit cards to 'so called' age verification websites. Some are real ads though. But they are the same old that post mostly or only there. Total wast of time. Yesbackpage is newer, but also sucks. What few people that post on this forum seem mostly to put links here to skipthegames. IMAO, it's the only one worth using. But even it is very annoying to use. Just a huge collage of pictures. Some of the women post way too many pictures and over post, even a few times in the same day. Too many of them don't pay attention to the activities that they select, some just select them all. That only puts themselves at risk. For example, an overly aggressive monger can get mad because of the provider's unwillingness to do anal even though their ad said so. But, that is their own doing. So, the site is quite annoying to use. I even mention one poster stating they were having difficulties maneuvering the new sites. So, it is not hard for me to see why there are fewer posters here.

I have been doing this for some years now. Not too too many, but a while. It's only been since FOSTA that I have become so active on this forum. For a long time I used my common sense, street smarts, detective skills and good old fashion gut instinct to determine what was real, fake, safe, dangerous, cop, not, etc. Etc. I've always done pretty well if I may say so myself. Backpage was a good thing. It really really was. A good thing for everyone in this game, including the girls. I remember scanning ads based on my location. All the ads used to have a general location next to the headline. Any advice or do I just got to toftt?You just have to look at the pictures and click on what ever appeals to you. STG started out to be not too bad. But it has become over used. The providers are including many more pictures per post and sometimes post a few times in the same day. They want to make sure they get noticed. Since almost all of them do that, it has become a swamp full of pond scum. No need to look at more than a days worth of posts. After awhile, you will get familiar with how to spot the spammers and the scammers just by looking at their pictures and how they write their ads. How to avoid the sting operations and the ones, or their BF / Handlers, that may rob you will either come from reading the forum or relying on your gut instincts. The gut instinct thing is the hard part that does seem to be a problem for some hobbyists who manage to fall into the traps. Thanks to them posting about their experiences has made this forum such a great thing.
