I was up in the area 2 years ago and found something in Fort Ann. I think I just got lucky at the time. I was up the again last month and there was nothing at all.

CITY OF NEWBURGH. Four suspected prostitutes and one suspected customer were arrested in a sweep on Wednesday.

The joint operation was conducted by the City of Newburgh Narcotics Unit, the Orange County Sheriff's Department and the State Police CNET Unit.

The following were charged with prostitution, a class B misdemeanor: XXXXXXXXXX. 45; XXXXXXXXXX. 43; and XXXXXXXXXX. 28, all of the City of Newburgh; and XXXXXXXXXX. 39, of Hopewell Junction. XXXXXXXXXX also was wanted on a bench warrant issued by the Newburgh City Court for a previous charge of prostitution.

XXXXXXXXXX. 38, of Middletown, was charged with third-degree patronizing a prostitute, a class A misdemeanor.

All were booked and being held in the city lockup pending arraignment in Newburgh City Court.
