First off, I'm surprised that I'm the first poster here since the thread was started, but the news is relevant:

"The crackdown was the result of a 16-month investigation into Somad Enterprises Inc, an advertising agency with offices in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania that placed classified ads for five escort services."

http://www.dnainfo.com/new-york/20121120/new-york-city/prostitution-ad-agency-busted-as-part-of-sex-ring-officials-say

"Somad operated a "one-stop shopping vehicle for prostitution rings," Schneiderman told reporters, creating advertisements for escort services and placing them on cable access television, on websites like Craigslist and Backpage. Com and in newspapers like the Village Voice."

"This case is the result of a 16-month joint investigation by the Attorney General's Organized Crime Task Force and the New York City Police Department that uncovered the illegal operations headed by Somad Enterprises, Inc, an ad agency was run out of an office in midtown Manhattan, [address redacted], and remote locations in Queens, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the Philippines."

And am very disappointed that the News Media gives them so much attention. Surely there ae far more newsworthy topics to occupy their Soundbite sessions.

Be careful my fellow mongers! If it's too good to be true then it's a lie, setup, scam or possibly robbery!

Just a heads up, saw this in the news:

"Man fatally shot at NYC after-hours strip club, sending naked women screaming and fleeing scene".

https://nypost.com/2023/10/15/man-shot-and-killed-at-nyc-after-hours-strip-club/

A man was shot and killed inside a Midtown after-hours strip club early Sunday — sending barely-clothed women streaming out of the venue screaming, according to cops and witnesses.

Officers responding to 355 Seventh Avenue in Koreatown at around 5:30 am Found the 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head, according to the NYPD.

Anyone know which party that was?
