Wow I can't believe nobody has posted in this section yet. Well let me use this as an opportunity to introduce myself. I lived in the capital region for a number of years but have moved on to a much larger city. I was looking forward to meeting different people and the amount of people that come along with a new city. I was shocked when I found out that there are significantly fewer SW's in some larger cities than there are in the capital region. So this is a message to all of you still there. You should feel lucky because you have 3 amazing locations to choose from to find SW's. I will try to post some tips and experiences here from time to time.
Mature WSW Brown shoulder length hair. Often seen standing (not walking) on Lexington and Central.ave. Sometimes there with BF in sight he's harmless though. One of my regulars used to see her once a week for almost 6 months. Trustworthy as well so had no problems giving her a phone number. She's nice as can be so treat her well especially if you're a repeat she'll show her gratitude. Specialty BBBJCIM.

She involuntarily grinds her teeth and hears voices and mumbles incoherently. Pretty scary stuff. 95% of you will want nothing to do with her. For the other 5% who are willing to take the risk there is a bit of reward. Aggressive Greek and Extremely Aggressive BBBJCIM.
Honestly though afterwards there was shame and regret.

Many times at covered bus stop near Quail and West (often drunk). This girl was absolutely one of my favorites. Went back to her again and again for over a year. She's extremely busty and she's a squirter. She genuinely enjoys her time with you do yourself a favor, offer her a ride and buy her a beer you'll be glad you did.
When I first started looking I had a hard time finding SW's but it's simple. Basically you've got three cities to choose from Albany, Schenectady, and Troy.
So the first step is to drive to one of those locations. Since they're all within a 20-30 minute drive from each other there shouldn't be an issue finding someone in one of these locations on any given night. In my early days I had no problem cruising from place to place through out the night.
You'll find them out between 11:00pm. 4:00am. The best time I find is 12:00. 2:00.

I read over them the other day and found them to be absolutely true. Over the years I've had to learn some of these things the hard way. You can learn from others mistakes.
Albany:
Central Ave. This is by far the best place to look in Albany it's where you'll find the highest concentration of SW's keep in mind it's also the most visible area be careful out there. You'll find girls anywhere from Central and Lark to Central and Waterveliet. Central and Robin is a really good spot. I can't count how many times I was able to lend a helping hand by offering someone a ride on that corner. Simply pull onto robin around the corner and they'll follow you in.
Clinton Ave.. You'll find girls anywhere from the beginning to the end of Clinton they'll often wander between Central and Clinton since they run parallel.
Lexington, Robin, N. Lake. Running between Central and Clinton all these streets often have girls walking one end to the other.
Quail St.. Anywhere between Clinton and Washington. The best place though is between Bradford St. And West St. Where that 24 hour mini mart is.
Bradford St.. Between Quail St. And Ontario St. This is such a great spot because it's very discreet. Almost no people ever walking there (except for SW's) and usually no LE to be found.
Lark. All the way from Madison to about Livingston remember lark breaks off on Clinton check a map. Most likely to find SW's between Central and Livingston though.
Waterveleit Ave.. Between Central and 3rd St. Over the years I've spotted a few SW's here
Donna Ave, Morris St., Myrtle Ave.. Between Lark and New Scotland. This area is slim pickings but there are girls here from time to time.
Now let's take a trip a little closer to the river.
S. Pearl St.. This is a great area to go to after you've done a thorough sweep of the Central Ave. Area. You'll find SW's anywhere between Madison and 2nd Ave. Not as much going on compared to Central Ave but still plenty enough SW's to give you a reason to come down and check it out.
Madison Ave.. Between Philip St. And S. Pearl
Morton Ave.. Between Eagle St. And S. Pearl this used to be a hotspot for SW's over the years though has died down I don't know what it's like today but may be worth stopping by.

I had a question as to whether you have been in this area lately. I also cruised most of those spots back in the day and found them to be reliable.
These days however...It seems to be rather sparse, and the LE presence is pretty heavy. They pull you over now for taking too many turns around the block...they find a reason (no directional,... failed to come to a complete stop at a sign...etc).
Just wondering if this is fresh info? or your experience from when you lived here, some time ago?

Yes this is all still fresh info the move was recent. I agree the volume of girls has decreased significantly over the past few years but these are all still the spots where you will find girls in Albany. To be honest I think the highest amount these days are in Schenectady. Last time I went up there I was able to spot 4 or 5 SW's out at the same time. That area has decreased as well but it's still doing much better than Albany. As far as the girls posted the only one I had not seen in a while was Candy and that's probably a good thing.

Hsw, 35 yo (looks a little younger), long black hair, around 5'5'' maybe shorter, busty with a giant spiderweb tattoo on her chest. She wears a cap sometimes. Also has marks on many parts of her body. Be aware she self medicates. I was able to help Amy out with a ride spotted her going back and forth between State St. And Albany St. Around midnight.
I am not exaggerating when I say this girl is one of the best finds in the capital region. If you're in Troy or Albany it is well worth the drive to find Amy. BBBJ is OK but not her specialty. What I would recommend if you have the time is treat yourself and find appropriate accommodations (I would go with "The Lawrence" nice enough, safe, and very affordable). Offer Amy a ride she'll be happy to go.
So the reason Amy is such a great find is she is one of those very rare girls that actually enjoys what she does. I'm serious she may enjoy what she does more than you. Don't worry about clock watching she'll be too busy having the time of her life.
Something else you won't be prepared for is how. Ahem. Forward she is. She knows what she wants and she will take it from you. If you are involved with someone you may want to rethink meeting with her. There is a 99% chance you'll leave from the encounter with visible souvenirs.
I had a few encounters with her a number of weeks ago but I do know for a fact that she is still out there and that she is out daily. I did a stroll last night down in Schenectady and the LE was out in force. They pulled over a car right after it picked up a SW near stewarts. I stuck around in stewarts for a bit wathcin to see if it looked like a sting but it took a while then like 4 cars showed up. Think the car just had bad luck and got spotted at the wrong time. I am sure she had some baggage with her that drew all the attn but who knows.

I drove the stroll on Central Thursday around 1am. Was on my second pass and saw Candy, with that CRAZY lipstick and I picked her up right away.

On the new's two night's ago the L/E had areested like 4 girls and one male for prostitution on lower central ave in Albany.

For me it works out great because I could care less what someone looks like in terms of beauty. I've had no problem with getting beautiful women in my personal life that's not what its about. A pretty face doesn't get me going. I want someone who's a good lay plain and simple. If they're good at what they do and they are into it themselves then they get added to my little black book for sure.
In terms of SW vs Escorts I pick SW's hands down. It is in my opinion a much much safer situation (at least the way I do it). You are in complete control of the situation. You pick exactly who you want, you don't have to worry about bait and switch. You can be 99% sure of who she is once she sits in that car seat and you take off. If she approaches the car and doesn't get in immediately you can just leave. It's simple. You are taking a much greater risk calling someone up and walking into a place you've never been to before.

Are you saying that there were plenty of better quality and higher quantity sw's out before the discussion started? If so, then maybe I could agree with you.
I think the only reason there is more discussion is because there is more talent on the street. The cops know that before we do. How many times do you have to see the same woman on the street before you know they're up to something? If a girl is working, especially if she's walking, most of the time you can spot her from a block away, or more.
LE may use this forum to find out about the CL types and the like. As far as SW's go though, I think their in-tell on the grounds is better than anything they read here.

I owe much to the forum and I really should have been posting prior to this. So with your forgivness I will start adding my intel for what it's worth...
As for the board giving away any secrets on the SW scene, it ain't happening. The girls make themselves pretty well known and LE is on a first name basis with most of them. Any cop assigned to the loop areas knows where and when the local ho's are out and about. Just my two cents.
I live in very close proximity to the Schenectady stroll and talent is available everyday of the week. Some days are better than others, especially if the girls and thier pimps are familiar with you. EVERY SW you see in the State St/ Brandywine/ Albany St area is working for a pimp and they have eyes on you when your doing the pick up. I have actually found this to be to my advantage.
Parking along the stroll and hanging out is usually what works best for me. Eventually there will be a SW come along sooner or later and if they know you it will usually be sooner.
I picked up a BSW yesterday at 4pm on State. She does not come out often, I only see here every few weeks or so, goes by the name of Mary. We went to a favorite spot of mine and agreed to FS for .4. Started with BBBJ and on to CFS (Only because I had the wrapper, she def would have gone BB). Finished with Doggie and dropped her off on Albany St. Not bad, but def not my favorite.

I tend to stay away from the girls that work the corner of Backus street. Been ripped off to many times from that crew and I just would rather cruise somewhere else than deal with bullshit. YMMV.
There is a few other girls I will report on, I'm just trying to play catch up best I can for now.

Sorry NENY, but there were NO busts listed on the APD arrest reports for feb,march, april. Within 2 weeks of these reports there are like 11 (sweep style) including a few johns. I just think they read the reports and when it seems active enough they go do some spring cleaning. Too coincidental for me

PkYea this is pretty unsettling to hear. I feel partly to blame since I saw it was pretty empty in here and wanted to help people who needed info. I know it was difficult for me starting out. The first person I noticed getting busted was Candy (good tip Toyo1998 that is definitely her) Is that coincidence with the surge of posts surrounding her?
Looking through the other arrest reports I was sad to see other girls that I've grown close to over the last few years. Many I've met are good girls hell even after I moved I still keep in touch with some of them. I had planned on doing more posts but now I don't really feel like I should.

We can agree to disagree. I just don't think LE needs this board to tell them that "clown face" or any of the others, are out strutting their stuff for cash.
Having said that, I was in the Electric City a month ago and picked up a nice looking but possibly too young bsw named Goldie. She had somewhat bleached curly hair, was quite attractive and had a great looking body. But she sounded too young and wouldn't give up any ID so I had to drop her off. This was right near the corner of Albany and Backus.

Personally, in terms of the street scene, I don't think LE gleans any useful information from here or anywhere else on the net. They are privy to everything that happens on the street, either through local residents or their own patrols. If there is chatter here about a particular area, you can bet local residents are complaining to LE.
I suspect WSG is more useful to them when going after CL providers or the traditional "whorehouse" in the larger cities.

First off, realize that virtually every woman arrested has spent a significant amount of time crying before that mug shot, even hardened street vets. Their faces are puffy, eyes red, makeup runny, etc. That said, the quality of SWs in the northeast has declined greatly over the years. Part of that is due to CL, part of it is the massive amount of LE on the street and the rest is a mystery. There has been, a very noticable decline, though.
I've been cruising the streets since WSG was nothing more than a short text stream on alt.sex.prostitution and although I've slowed in recent years, I'm still drawn to it. In that time, I've picked up maybe a dozen truly beautiful SWs in the northeast. The ratio is much better in the south and particularly in SoCal. Bottom line - there are huge numbers of SWs for whom darkness has been a great business aid!
So, why do I do it? The overwhelming reason is the thrill of the hunt. I never know what will be around the next corner. Going to a new city and successfully finding the stroll is a lot more interesting than watching TV in a crappy hotel room. My salary has remained stagnant for several years, so money is an issue as well. CL is not an option for me, and it's just as well since my head would pop off if I ever convinced myself to pay $150 for a BJ from a cracked-out "escort". Kudos to the guys that can laugh those encounters off, but you're killing the rest of us! Finally, there is the sex. Often, it's not great, but no matter how I resolve to quit the street scene, that familiar itch returns within a day or two.

It has been a couple years since I visited Albany, but made it back last week. No problem finding some working girls on Central. Was in town and checked out the Albany area. Saw a few out and most not good enough to stop for. Did try to check out one wsw but she was gone by the time I turn around.
Headed to Schenectady and saw one older wsw but nothing else. I called it a night.
Went out early morning to Albany and same thing. Headed to Schenectady again and saw the same older wsw then I saw this slim wsw. When I turned around I made the pickup on some side street. She looked better than anything I have see out there. Nice body and chest. Found a spot for a bj but she don't catch. .25 and she wouldn't have got that for not catching, but she looks very good.

Picked up Tammy just off of the exit 6 Michigan Ave exit in Schenectady. Went to a quiet spot and agreed to .6 for the full deal.

The weather plays a role too, it was raining on and off Saturday night. A weeknight after 9pm is usually a good time, weekends can often be later (after 2am) when the bars are closed. Or the rest of the hobbyists could have beat you to the punch and you have to 20-30 mins for the women to return. Also keep an eye on the police reports, if they just did a big sweep of busts everyone will be laying low for a while and sticking to their regulars. They could just be hanging out with friends or at home on a Sat night like many of the rest of us! I have driven up and down central a bunch at various times of day and night. I never seem to see anyone who looks like they are working. How do you pick them out? Any tips for a newbie? What to look for and how to transact?

POLICE INTERACTION. Frequent the street scene long enough and you will be having some conversations with the police. If you want to have a good excuse for why you are in a particular area, go right ahead. However, know that the officer will know you are lying, will tell you that he knows you are lying and in many cases will threaten to charge you with something. Usually, this is just an intimidation technique. Most city cops just want you out of their sector. If you haven't given them an excuse to write you a ticket, you'll probably be sent on your way. You will be sitting on the side of the road for up to an hour though, depending on how much time the officer wants to kill. Oh, and cops know us too. We're not invisible. They've seen us circling the block, they've seen us out every Wednesday night, etc. We don't come around often enough to be looking for drugs, so it is pretty obvious why we're there. Don't be too stupid and you'll mostly be left alone.
