They said that the murderer had a girl in his basement for some time, and that the policy had responded, but they he had a "contract" with the girl, and therefor hadn't broken the law. I got to tell everyone, these kinds of crimes happen because people don't think with their big heads. These are crimes of opportunity. People accept what they are told to do, meet here, at this time, with no one else, etc. With no safeguards. STUUUUPID!
If you're going to do something like that, at least leave a voice mail on a system with a password, that says where you are, the time and date, and who you are meeting with and give phone numbers and other identifying details. If something does happen, you can tell them you've left a message with a friend and that if you don't check in in 2 hours, they go to the cops with pics of them, phone numbers, etc. This will at least buy you some time to get away or fight. This shit happens way too often lately. I still think that the lady in Muskegon who was shot in the head had a secret she wasn't sharing.
And BTW, I don't EVER send pics of myself to someone. There's a post here somewhere where someone did that, and it got posted on one of the "cheaters" websites. Not smart. Be safe out there, and THINK before you act.

If you are having a car date, you might want to share real names just before your interview with the officer, however if you are with a girl without being caught in a Compromising position, there is no reason to know her name or her yours.

The last time was over 15 years ago.
Real names exchanged quickly and a basic story agreed upon (usually that I'm giving her a ride to some place) before the cop gets to my vehicle to ask for my license, etc. Except for a couple times where the girl had warrants, we were always allowed to go on our way.
Those other times they took the SW into custody and let me go with the caveat that they don't see me cruising anymore that evening. I don't know how it works these days but back in the day, LEO couldn't arrest you just for having a SW in the car with you. They would threaten arrest but the threats were empty because they had no evidence of anything other than me giving them a ride somewhere.
As for giving these women my real name, I never had any of them try to find me or where I lived. I doubt any of them even remembered my real name for longer than it took for them to move on to the next guy.
We need to stay away from these seedy low end hotels.

...Underage is too far for me...I too don't have a problem if he maintained his present focus, but eventually he'll run-out of local guys who like teenyboppers and will likely want to focus on new targets. And since he's already had success on Craigslist, he'll probably keep trolling there.
Given the praise some such "video-vigilantes" have received in targeting working-girls and their clients, it wouldn't be surprising if he set his sights next on ensnaring guys using one of the "single mom needs help" ploys, similar to the scenario that helped bring-down Lansing's prosecutor.
I mainly wanted to use this as a reminder that we always need to be cognizant and skeptical when dealing with CL ads, especially if they involve us offering to "help" any single-moms we may encounter. Failing to properly phrase conversations about "help" can make all the difference between simply "discussing possibilities" and actually propositioning a person, with the enhancement of using a computer to do so.

Also, what is the whole transcript + ad situation? He states all the naughty / nasty / erotic things the guy says, but what about himself as the girl? That's just selected too in the video. Did he post on craigslist AS a 15 year old looking for some action, or even a date? Or only until chatting a bit he said he was a 15 year old teen, instead of 18? I'm not defending the guys there, and I have no sympathy for them, but there is something called entrapment. Hanson's show got hit for that.

However, if they're prostituting, the age of consent is 18. More info from the the AMP stings down in Florida. These are the ones that nabbed Robert Kraft. Three search warrants were unsealed Friday. They revealed that detectives got their leads from Rubmaps.com and USASexGuide.nl (see last paragraph of attached article). Screenshots of reviews were included in the warrants.
This should not surprise any of us but I still thought it was worth mentioning. And this should NOT change how we operate on this site.

Interestingly, Canada to the north of us has a really mixed up set of laws because prostitution is a federal and not state / provincial responsibility and the federal Conservative government there tried to neutralize a Supreme Court decision in 2014 that essentially legalized prostitution. The gov't made it illegal to purchase sexual services, advertise another's services (agencies), and illegal to live on the material benefits from sex work (make a living from it), BUT legal for the girls to sell sexual services. Apparently, the world doesn't want for legal aides who don't know how to craft legislation for their reps.

No such thing as entrapment in Michigan. The way the laws are written in Michigan requires the sexual act be committed to prove the case. Case law so dictates that an undercover male or female officer may act in any manner that an actual provider or client would act. Since 99% of the departments do not allow their officers to carry out the act, solicitation, a lesser and included offense, is generally what a charge is. Getting a provider to have sex for money does not fall within those guidelines. However, as has been stated, one of the elements of the crime is the actual sexual act and most departments will not allow for this act to take place, therefore the lesser and included offense of Solicitation is normally the charge. And the case law on prostitution has been around for at least 50 years, probably longer, that I have been aware of.
