I cruised capital off Business 94 for about an hour Thursday, June 24th. It was between 4-6. I saw one tall brunette, one thin (spinner) blonde --- with bad teeth, and a plumb dark redhead. The first two came from the same house near fountain and caroline. Other than that it looked dead. Small wonder I didn't see too many cops in the area.

Four female prostitutes were arrested and 11 men were arrested on charges of soliciting undercover officers during the crackdown along Capital Avenue Northeast, police said.
Some of those arrested were also charged with other crimes including possession of drug paraphernalia or were help on unrelated warrants.
Police seized ten vehicles during the investigation.
The sting was a joint operation of Battle Creek's patrol division, the detective bureau and the Gang Suppression Unit.

I drove through town once again today no action at all, then I said heck with it and went around the block from rittenhouse to capitol headed out and there was a white SW very skinny black teeth etc OMG she was a wreck she was more or less flagging down cars, there was an older guy shading her about 100 yds back from her he was as bad as her jeeez I can't see him as a body guard. Police: Man sought in assaults on women.
Battle Creek police are continuing their search for a man who has attacked and beaten at least four women in the last month.
The man, believed to about 40, has punched and kicked and threatened to kill the women, who are working as prostitutes, according to Sgt. Bradley Palmer.
One woman reported the attack to police but others have told officers they haven't because they don't believe anyone will investigate and that the assaults are a risk because of the work they do.
Palmer said Friday he was told by one woman. 43, that she was assaulted about a month ago on Battle Creek Avenue. The woman said she was walking along Capital Avenue Southwest and Battle Creek Avenue when a car began circling the area about 10:30 pm She said he parked his gray or green sedan in the driveway of a vacant house on Battle Creek Avenue and when she approached he rushed her, punching her and knocking her to the ground.
She said the man grabbed by her hair and began pulling her down the driveway saying he was going to kill her and calling her a working girl.
The victim said she saw another woman and two children in the car as she was screaming for help. The man continued to beat and kick her using heavy work boots until a car drove slowly down Battle Creek Avenue and the man left her and drove away.
Both women who have talked to police describe the man as Hispanic and about 150 pounds. Palmer said anyone with information about the attacks is asked to call Battle Creek Police or Silent Observer at 964-3888.

Multiple routes up and down both sides of Capital. The landscape changes quick. One day I was dropping my son off at school and up and down Capital there were 5-7 girls. Within a hour (after dropping him off, I couldn't find 1 of those girls).
Reiterating. Patience is the key, they're out there.

I had just rolled into town last night at around 9PM. I checked into my motel and hit the stroll according to what I have read hear. I took a ride N on Cap and saw nothing. Reversed direction and headed south. Crystal was passing through gas station south of downtown. I looped the block and she was still there. I parked down a side street and I she had to walk a bit to get to me.

There is nothing in the law the prohibits LE, male or female, officers from lying to you during the course of an investigation. It is common practice to deny that they are LE and no, it is not considered entrapment if they do that is pure Hollywood hokum.
About the only good information he gave you is normally a female undercover probably will not get into your vehicle, but that is not always a hard and fast rule either. Point of fact is that in Michigan, the law allows either a male or female to act as any normal hooker or john would act to make a case. Those includes up to and committing the sexual act, so even the cursory LE check is worthless in establishing if who you are dealing with is LE.
Now most departments do not allow their officers to have actual sex to prove the case so very few cases of prostitution are made and they settle for the charge of solicitation. A couple additional things you might want to consider is that in this part of the state your probably will not just get a ticket and set on your way.
You would more than likely be arrested, taken in and booked and have to post a bond to be released and if they are feeling real generous your automobile will be seized under the forfeiture law because you used it in connection with a crime and since that is a civil proceedings you will NEVER get it back. Kalamazoo area courts require you to post $5, 000. 00 bond just to keep it from being sold at auction and having a court hearing about having it returned to you and unless it have a LEIN from a lender your more than likely will never see it again.
From my old days of picking up SW which has been many years ago, the best way to keep from being involved with LE is your eyes. Watch and listen to what is going on around you. Do not swoop in and grab the first one you that catches your eye. Watch and see if others are picking her up and more importantly if the same vehicle that picked her up is dropping her back off. Chance are if she gets in and leaves and comes back to the area with the same guy / car you will be safe in engaging her.
But, there are risks no matter how careful you try to be. If something does not feel right chances are thy aren't and you need to bail. No tang is worth going to jail for!

I was in the BC area the other day and decided to take a cruise up and down capital ave and see what was out and about.
